We were told when making reservations that there was a large number of "permanent" campers and only a few sites available for short term rental. The park rules of a two week maximum stay was obviously not enforced. This park was poorly designed and managed. The road was rough and speed limits were not enforced. All traffic to the small beach area and to the boat landing, drives past the majority of campsites. Vehicles and boats were parked haphazardly, extension cords ran from power poles to makeshift campsites. Golf cart traffic added to the congestion. The website boasted of boat rentals, however the boats were in disrepair and not available. We had visited this park about 10 years ago, and were very disappointed this trip. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
