This is a very nice campground located on a lake near the small town of Granum. We stayed in one of the rear pull-through sites with 30 amp electric and water in the open with no trees. We did not have our cell phones or MiFi on while in Canada and could not pick up the campground Wi-Fi at our site. We were able to use our rooftop DirecTV satellite. Did not use the bathhouse or laundry. Owners were very friendly and helpful. There is a local fuel station, but be careful because they only accept debit or cash. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Park-like setting - grass and big trees; very pretty and quiet. We found gravel sites to be quite level. We are PA, so paid half rate ($12.50). We didn't realize they had 30 amp; we chose our site based on tree location for our satellite dish, which is mounted on the roof of our motorhome. So 15 amp wasn't adequate to run more than one appliance (threw the breaker a few times), but was fine for one night. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a city recreation park. We found it on our way to Calgary and stayed for two nights. It is a PA park; however they charge full rates on holidays. Gravel roads, semi level sites. Next to a 3 par golf course. Electric did not fade and water preasure was good. Off the main road enough to be quiet at night. There is a Host on site 24/7 to provide security and the RCMP does a drive through if called. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
