This is a very nice park located about 3/4 mile south of Alpine along the Coronado Trail on Hwy 191; the park is on the east side of the street. Definitely the best park in the Alpine area. Most sites have large pine trees, and sites are level with full hookups. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The park setting is in the pines at 8050 feet. It is a nice quiet setting with beautiful surroundings. Lots of hiking and ATV trails for those that love the outdoors. We stayed here for one month. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you don't mind boondocking, quiet nights, starry skies, and the occasional zombie squirrel peeking in your coach windows, then this is the perfect place for you. This is a US Forrest Service campground, so not many amenities, but they do have a boat ramp, allow tent camping, trailer and RV parking, picnic tables at all sites, toilets nearby, and really cold drinking water from a natural spring. I would highly recommend getting a reservation from the website, we just showed up and happened to luck out and get one of the last spots. It was not the most level site ever made, they could probably take a dozer and flatten some of them a little better when they get a chance. Overall, we had a great stay and will be going back before they close for the season. We camped here in a Motorhome.
