Nice wooded campground with spacious sites. No sewer, no Wi-Fi, no cable, no antenna channels, and AT&T is off network here. Flagstaff is 10 miles East. There is talk of expansion, which is needed. While sites are spacious, there is room for twice as many, and I saw several people come in and get turned away due to no availability. Mosquitoes ate us alive! They were hungry and on the hunt 24 hours a day. We went through 4 cans of repellent and still have dozens of bites and scars. Most guests here have been returning for years and stay for extended periods of time. Campground hosts are very nice and hosted two social hours during our 2-week stay. We enjoyed our stay but are unlikely to return just because of the mosquitoes. I’m from the deep south and have never been attacked like that. It made enjoying the great outdoors impossible. Rats were also an issue. Several guests found nests under their hoods and chewed up wires/undercarriages while we were there. We were very worried but fortunately did not experience a rat problem ourselves. The inner circle was less wooded, more breezy, and seemed to have less mosquitoes, but that’s where the rats seemed to be affecting vehicles the most. Hubby’s biggest concern was that Arizona seems to employ Department of Corrections orange-suiters to landscape and clean facilities with no signs of supervision. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here twice on our way to and from grand canyon. Really liked this place. No sewer at sites, but dump station available. Cash only. No reservations but called and (very helpful) host told us of availability. This is a simple but very nice campground. Nice big gravel, but level sites. I would stay here again and highly recommend it. Very peaceful and rural. We camped here in a Motorhome.
