Clean, wide and long sites, trees are maturing and provide some shade. Easy access and wide interior roads. Nice well stocked store, friendly staff. That said, there is some freeway noise, a train along the freeway, and a waste water pump on site that adds to the noise. Nothing overbearing, but annoying. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park was maintained and secured by a gate. We weren't too pleased with where they put us, right next to a noisy lift station but we were tired and the noise wasn't noticeable after awhile. This was a great location to see Meteor Crater. We went through the Painted Desert, stayed overnight at the campground and on to the crater in the next morning. All in all, a good visit. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There is nothing but the Crater anywhere near. The RV park is attached to a gas station ( with diesel and a Subway sandwich place). It is surprisingly nice campground. Our site was slightly un-level but plenty big and the hook-ups were well placed and the water pressure was good. It is very windy and dusty. The Crater is just 5 miles down the road. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
