Near I-40, but surprisingly clean and quiet RV park. Has locked gate at night. We stayed here with well behaved dogs, and they were very welcome. Not a destination (we'd already seen Meteor Crater), but a good stopping point on your way to somewhere else. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park service employee stayed until we arrived as it was right up to closing time. We really appreciated that since we missed a turn in Flagstaff. This seems to be common with signage in Flagstaff. Meteor Crater RV Park was large, and gated with security code to enter. Spaces were wide and plenty of room to maneuver. WiFi was down the nite we visited. However, WiFi is really satellite feed (high latency, low bandwidth connection) as they are in the middle of nowhere. I was not sure if an extra charge might have been required for WiFi access. Convenience store on site, gas station, and extras. Caretaker lives on site with RV park. Easy on/off access from I-40. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Not much more can be said. Late 1:00 was handy for an un-rushed visit to the crater without having to take the trailer. PA rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Like prior reviewers have stated, this is a very nice, well maintained campground. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Nice laundry and rec room (although they were having some problems with a couple washers eating quarters!). We did not use the bathrooms or showers, but we looked at them and they were all very nice, clean, individual private rooms. There is some road noise from I-40, which is not too far away. But that's the price you pay for the convenience of being near the freeway. Also, some train noise, but not enough to wake us up. We camped here in a 40 foot motorhome with toad, and hade no problems driving around the campground or pulling into our chosen site. Roads and sites are all gravel, so there is some dust, but this is the high desert, so that's to be expected. There are trees at most sites, but they aren't large enough to provide any significant shade. Our site was reasonably level. Most other sites appeared fairly level as well. All sites are large and can accomodate large rigs. A very nice place to camp for a night or two, especially given where it is and the limited options for camping in this general region. We'd definitely camp here again. The campground is owned by the same enterprise that owns the Meteor Crater. You get a discount on the Crater entry fee as a guest at the campground. The Meteor Crater is quite interesting and we thought worth the couple of hours and nominal charge to visit it (and take the guided 1 hour hike along the rim). We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. Very clean and well maintained showers and rest rooms. Need to supply each camp site with a picnic table! Friendly staff. Would stay here again while traveling back and forth. Nice one or two night stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed overnight at the RV park and visited the Crater in the morning. Gravel, pull throughs, need some leveling, some shade. Gas station, store, and Subway Sandwich shop on site. Wifi was $4 for 24 hours. Antenna tv got 6 channels. Fantastic bathrooms and showers, individual rooms, all tile and clean. Friendly staff. RV park is gated and they close at 8pm, better be here before that or no entry. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice RV park. We arrived there dodging 85 mile per hour side winds on Interstate 40. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this park for Big Motorhomes. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A nice overnight stop. Easy to get to off of the interstate. The sites are pull-thru, wide and level. The bathrooms are very nice. Each private bathroom has its own shower, toilet, and sink. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was the cleanest and best run campground we have ever stayed in. They even raked the gravel on each site in patterns that were really cool. I would love to work camp here... We camped here in a Motorhome.

We needed a place to spend the night and called this campground. We told them we would arrive after they close and were told to call them on the intercom box by the front gate and they would let us in. When we arrived we tried the intercom and cell phone and nobody answered. After traveling down a two lane road for a few miles I finally found a place to turn around. Ended up spending the night at the next rest stop. I'm sure this is a fine campground to stay at as long as you arrive when they are open. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice clean park. The employees are helpful and friendly. We used Passport America and only got water and 30A electric. This was okay for two days, however. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi is expensive and not reliable and very slow. It doesn't even allow you time to read an article before it logs you off. I think that if you are going to provide Wi-Fi (and charge for it) that it should be better than this. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay! Would rate it higher but dog runs were nothing but a caged in dirt spot with weeds growing in it. Showers are the best with individual bathrooms that lock. Nice staff also. Would, and probably will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Love this place. Wonderful scenery, large pull through sites, and great people. The wind was blowing when we stopped here, but that happens in this part of the country. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We generally agree with all of the comments made previously. The first 2 nights were under PA (electricity and water only) for $12 per night. The 3rd night was full price so we moved sites to a full hook-up site. They did give us a reduction for Good Sam Club. When we called to make the reservations, they told us that wi-fi was $1.95 per day. When we arrived, we were shown a brochure for the wi-fi at $1.95/day. When we logged onto the wi-fi, the price came up at $3.95/day. When we informed the office, they said they would notify the owner. The wi-fi was slow. In spite of the fact that it kept telling me my signal was very good and 54 Mbps, it functioned like dial-up. If the wi-fi had been good, we would have given this park a much better rating. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a pleasant surprise this rv park is!! We made reservations using Passport America and upon arriving we were welcomed so warmly and quickly assigned our site. As a Passport America member we can only have electricity and water, but there is nicely arranged dump station. The sites here are pull-through, very spacious, with the widest streets I have encountered in an rv park. I highly recommend this rv park to all who are passing this way on I-40 between Flagstaff and Winslow. A great place to overnight. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean, neatly landscaped and spacious desert gated park right off of I-40 at exit 233, behind large gas station. Regular fee is $24 - we used Passport America and for $12 were eligible for water/electricity only site, but a very nice pull through one in the middle of the park. No road noise. Register in the gas station which also includes a store (food, beverages, maps, books, t-shirts, etc.) and Subway. Excellent Verizon reception for phone and air card. Great road stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to stop on your way west on I-40. Level pull throughs, two handicapped sites that are very nice. We used to stop in Flagstaff until we were forced here onetime by bad weather, never go to Flag again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

At the $12 Passport America rate this campground is hard to beat. Very clean, excellent security, easy access and a convenience store on site. We stayed two nights while touring the area; we wish more campgrounds were as clean. It is an excellent value and a great place to stop for a night or two. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pleasant park, easily navigated with a big rig. The $11 rate is the Passport America rate and is for 30 amp and water only. Central dump station. 50 amp full hookup sites are available for $24. The free WiFi is so slow as to be mostly unuseable. Most of the time, we could not load a single web page without it timing out. Good Verizon signal, though. Near the freeway, but very little road noise. Clean laundry. We camped here in a Motorhome.

An oasis in the desert (I-40 exit 233)! Great find for an over-nighter and to visit the Meteor Crater Visitor Center. Level, gravel, spacious pull-thru sites with full hookups. Faint I-40 vehicle noise otherwise it was quiet. Restroom/Showers are four individual locking rooms, very clean! Free Wifi, antenna TV gets 6 channels. Gas station, Subway Restaurant, minimart. The Crater is about 5 miles down the road, ask for the $1 discount when you register at the park. Will stay here again when passing thru. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
