Walking distance to town. Free laundry, cable and WI-FI. Free music on weekends. Wonderful owners very laid back. Gravel roads and sites but nice. Will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
An older, well established park, well shaded, on Sylamore Creek. Level sites, gravel roads in good shape, swimming pool was very clean and the entire park was well tended. Not real busy in mid-August. Staff was wonderful. We will definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Camping rate for Coast-to-Coast members. Campground could stand some serious upkeep. Trees need trimmed away from roads and RV sites. Our 30amp breaker went out and we had to run extension to next site for two days. We stayed a week. In defense of the park, it suffered through two floods earlier in the year, and was under 20 feet of water. Really a rustic, beautiful area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Park could be nice if tended to. Does not seem to have had any upkeep in several years. Owners are rude and act like they would rather you not be there. Scenery is beautiful We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Coast to Coast rate. The roads and sites are gravel. The swimming pool was not open. There are some childrens equipment and a laundry. The restroom could use a bit of maintenance. They have a code operated gate. The views are tremendous. There is a nice store, clubhouse with pool tables and a pavilion. They have a concrete basketball court. Most of the sites have unoccupied RV's on them. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Outstanding bath house. Very friendly owners. Small with close sites but had all the necessaties with wonderful community room. Easy to find and close to Ozark attractions We will return to this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very clean park, friendly office staff. Sites are a little tight, but manageable. We were here with a rally group, so the nightly rate was a little less than regular rate. Convenient to Walmart, Post Office, and not too far from the town square and nightly free bluegrass entertainment! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Friendly staff. When the Wi-Fi went out, one staffer was most helpful in getting it back up immediately! They have no directions to their park on the website, other than to say, "We're next to the Ozark Folk Center"...so we followed the directions to the O/ F Center...had to make a tremendous climb out of a parking lot...so be careful...one worker showed me the map they advertise in one magazine...only problem is...we didn't come to the park from that magazine...get precise directions early...it was being comfortable next to the Folk Center, which is the reason we were there...you MUST see Blanchard Caverns...this park is good for 2-3 days...not much more...we would turn there... We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We enjoyed this park, were there during a dulcimer festival, so we enjoyed that entertainment one night. Also, there is a village joining the park--lots of little shops and old time entertainment, etc. It was just a short drive to downtown Mountain View, where there were unique stores and restaurants and music on the courthouse square. We would certainly recommend this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice campground convenient to everything around Mountain View and surrounding area. Staff very accommodating. Some of the older, shaded sites are really small with little extra space to park the tow vehicle. Sites were gravel, but looked as if drainage was good. Restrooms old, but clean. Would stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground is close to downtown Mountain View and Blanchard Springs Caverns. You can walk to the Mountain View Folk Music Center from the campground. The craft center adjoining the folk center offers classes. We initially reserved a front pull thru site. Upon arrival, we discovered that our site was not level, very narrow, and no shade. Seeing the temperature forecast for the week was in the high 90s, we requested to be moved to another site. They accommodated us. However, the back-in sites are not much bigger either but do have shade. They put someone next to us when there was plenty of other open sites available. They do this all the time; don’t know why. You’re on top of each other. Roads are not paved which makes it very dusty. The cable reception is exceptional. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
It is a very good location for visiting the Ozark Cultural State Park (a wonderful place to visit), as you can walk to it from the RV Park. There are very tight spaces for back-in with little room for the tow vehicle. The attendants were longer stay hosts and not all that knowledgeable about the RV Park or area. They could have put us in several larger and continuously vacant spots, but we were located next to an occupied site that was also very tight. We had to jockey our tow vehicles to fit. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was one of the best parks we have stayed in. The sites were shady, easy to get into and the folks who own and run the park are very hospitable. We are going back again in March of 2008 for a Blue Grass Festival. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We enjoyed the convenient location of this park. The staff was helpful and friendly. The park was clean and well maintained. We had one of the "new" sites in the front; some of the sites in the back appeared to be smaller and we would have had tree problems with a 33-foot 5th wheel. We would definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Good Sam Park. Very clean. Great people running and owning the park. They will do
anything to help the guest. The restroom and showers were very clean. The park is located right next to the Ozark Folk Festival. They have a walkthru the fence to get to the Folk Festival. It is also about two minutes driving time to the town square, where music is played almost any hour of the day or evening. A great place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We camped near the creek. It is very pretty and a great experience. You could sit in your campsite and watch fly-fishing, canoeing and swimming. There are 50 miles of mountain bike trails very close by. It is an awesome trail system that any cyclist should ride. Only bad, dirty bathrooms/showers and no playground. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Sylamore Creek Camp is located five miles north of Mt. View on Sylamore Creek and within walking distance of the White River. Because it had rained heavily the day before our arrival, some sites were not able to use sewer hookups due to overflow water into the sewer system. Sites were mostly gravel with picnic tables, fire rings and grills. Because of its location, this camp would be great if some attention were paid to cleanliness in the bathhouse and if the grass was cut. Behind the office there appeared to be a graveyard for old cars. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a very friendly and accommodating RV park. Has their own music shed. The manager is one of the most gracious persons I have ever did business with. We camped here in a Motorhome.
