We are impressed with this provincial campground! The sites are large & very level. Easy to back in (we have a 26' RV). Lots of room to put a rope between trees for your dog to run! Our dog loved this place! Very clean sites and shower house. It's $1 for 5 minutes so bring your loonies; although, if you wash fast, 5 minutes is enough. Lake has swimmers itch in the hot months, but if you shower after you come out and vigorously towel off, you're kids will be fine. Almost all sites have a sand tent pad which those without tents, used as a sand box! Sites 44, 45, 62, 63, & 65 are very close to the highway -- lots of noise pollution! Sites 49 to 60 on the lake side are great. Almost each one of those has its own mini beach, need to reserve in the spring. These sites fill fast! Site 33 is in the wide open, everyone will see you and you will see everyone, no privacy. Sites 1 to 16 are fairly small, we would only fit in sites 2, 3, 4 & 6. Site 17 is across from the human & pet beach plus next to the playground and shower/washroom house. It also has 2 sand tent pads, large enough for a big rig. Lots of hiking trails, kids biking - excellent campground!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great location, some lakeside sites available. Bear proof litter boxes, water spigots, lake swimming, hiking trails, restrooms, play area, pay phone, some sites can be reserved. Very popular on weekends and holidays; we stayed on a weekend so campground was pretty vacant. Sites in the 1-14 loop are spacious with most being fairly level, could accommodate motorhome up to 36'. Day use parking area is very convenient for un-hooking and hooking tow vehicle. Stayed in site 11 for 1 night; was a wonderful site. Would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
