Tips from campers about Hemet, CA

  • John Alverio I got a great discount thanks to booking for three months. There are all kinds of businesses along Florida Ave. where the resort is located. Temecula and other very nice places to visit are within easy driving distance but you must avoid high traffic times. There are hiking trails for every taste. I hiked multiple times the St. Bernardino National Park and San Jacinto State Park trails which are in wooded mountainous areas. I will try next some trails in the desert.
  • Patrick8200 I moved from here back in '97. I was somewhat taken aback at the amount of homeless and general decline of the town, where it used to be really clean and well taken care of. The town has pretty much anything could want.
  • MConnors So many activities within the park. Pools, spa, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, 2 dog area, one is gravel but the other is grass and well shaded, fitness room, on-site laundry. Large community room where park events are held. Tons of local restaurants nearby as well as grocery stores, anything you need is within walking distance of the campground. Some of the best places to eat are Rockin K Ranch, Los Vaqueros both are across the street from the campground less than 1/2 mile down the street. El Patron is roughly 3-4 miles down the road which is also outstanding. Every fast food chain you can think of. Numerous golf courses in the area within 5 miles. Request to stay on the west side of the park. Less permanent residents and usually quieter
