We stayed here one night, so we did not explore much. The drive from the freeway is very hilly and has some really sharp turns. We enjoyed the large open field that our site butted up to and the very nice distance between neighboring sites. A very pleasant place to stay! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lake Del Valle is a great place. We enjoyed walking from the RV sites to the Lake - nice path. It is very removed from hi tech. They now have a small number of sites with electricity, which was helpful as we were there in the winter. Full of nature enjoyment. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an amazingly beautiful park, very well maintained, with a great deal of space between sites. There are miles and miles of hiking/biking trails with many benches and picnic tables. There is also a convenience store within the campground which was very handy as we ended up needing a couple of things. I can understand why another reviewer had a major issue with the 10 PM curfew, but it was fine with us as we only left during the day. This was our first stay here but we will certainly return, would love to bring our kayaks when the reservoir is full. No Wi-Fi, cable or cell coverage, but that's not so bad every now and then. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
