This is perhaps the worst RV park we've stayed at in over two years. Their website gives the false impression of being on Lake Henshaw. Actually, the lake is across the highway and far down the hill. They absolutely will not take reservations and as they told me "You have to defend your space if you leave for the day." When we arrived, I should have realized why they have a large "NO REFUNDS" sign in the office. The clerk showed me a map of 16 hookup spaces that aren't occupied by full timers. We could choose whatever space we wanted that was available. Six of those spaces were on an approx. 10 degree slope and were only above 15 feet long before dropping off to a 30 degree slope. You wouldn't even put a tent on these spaces. Of the other 12 spaces, they were level but short. Our 31 foot RV stuck out about six feet into what would be the driveway (if there was such a thing designated). There was nothing but hard packed dirt with nothing to separate the spaces. If the placed had been full, the spaces would be too narrow to put a table between them. The electrical connection was at the bottom underneath the box? I only discovered it when another camper nearby told me where to look. We had arrived late, so decided to see if it looked any better in the morning. Unfortunately, morning arrived at 6:45 AM when we were awakened with loud Mexican music coming from a full timer across the street. This was the last straw. Even though we paid for two nights, we packed up and left that morning. Remember that they don't give refunds- and now you know why. The bathrooms were dirty with spider webs and discarded cigarettes on the floor. The pool was hopefully not open because the water was dark and dirty. There seemed to be some tent camping sites which seemed better and wee located away from the RV/Mobile Home sites. The entire place is on a steep hill. If you have an RV, stay away from this place!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
