As previously stated it is a small campground and if you have pop outs then would be very tight. All gravel, no grass, no picnic tables, no fire pit, just gravel. To the west of the pull in sites there are sites for tents and there must have been two dozen squeezed in. The showers/toilets must be at the far end of the park. But in torrential rain I didn't make that journey. There were two porta-johns, not sure if the camp hosts are responsible but they were trashed inside. One was so bad that stuff was on the floor in front of the actual toilet. Most disgusting situation for a porta-john. Good news is the town has a visitor center a block east, closer than the bathrooms in the park, which are fine. Did get one bar on Verizon but it was weak LTE and sometimes switched to a roaming connection. Won't go back. Just wasn't a whole lot of fun. And at $35 you should expect more. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We have stayed here several times over the past few years, but doubtful we will return. The scenery is great and the town is eclectic fun, but the campground is the tightest ever. You are literally sandwiched one foot from the RVs on both sides. Awnings and slides nearly touch. The only site with room is on the end and every time we have been here someone has glommed on it for weeks. It was clearly designed for small travel trailers with no slides, even though you can squeeze others in. It is a challenge backing in and getting out. As with most recreation areas in the area it is swamped on the weekends. Because it is the only RV park in the area they get $35/night, which is a bit much for such a tiny and cramped facility. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very small city run campground just outside Boulder, CO. It is gravel and adjoins a small city park with shower and bathroom facilities. The showers are coin operated. The park has nice play areas and picnic areas. Weekends are extremely busy with lots of families using the park and campground. Reservations are a must. This is a very basic campground but the only one we could find around Boulder,CO with space available. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed a week and would return again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
