- Martini The Morel Mushroom Festival is held mid-May in nearby Muscoda and is great fun. If you want to dine out there is one choice; the Whiskey Row does have pretty good food and Friday night fish.3 years ago Avoca Lakeside City Park

- Cdr Bob Don't use your GPS if your trying to get to Avoca, it will lead you down every county road and back road, use a map !!! Their are 2 business's in town, a convenience store and a bar ( Whiskey Row Saloon), which we found to be very friendly and good food.Tuesday nites are free Bingo , my Wife won $37.50 !!!!
