Stayed for a week. Only free air TV. Go to club house for Wi-Fi. Every other lot was full but come December things would get pretty tight slide to slide. Majority of temp lots are grass, access roads paved with bump strips. Manager is great. Would not stay all winter but a good short term park. Call the resort rather than putting up with their Detroit call center. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We liked Arbor Terrace. We arrived late but they had left a package waiting for us at the clubhouse so it was easy for us to get settled in. Nice people in the park. Small, tight sites, but still a great campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a month. I was going to leave but it was close to family. It is one of the worst places I have stayed at. We arrived and there was no one to help use find our site or a number to call to get help. The phone just rang and rang. So we found our site which had no picnic table. It was very, very hard to back into the small site. The people that live here all the time told me people steal things. When we did ask for a picnic table, we waited all day and never got one. When I did get some one in the office, all I was told was that everyone left, so you won't get one today. I didn't get one the next day and ended up going to get one myself. The wi-fi is very bad. I went and bought a MiFI just so I could use the internet. I would never stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the second campground that we stayed in since we bought our RV. We checked in and found out after the fact that the pool was closed. Would have been nice if they would have told us when we called. Only three RV's in the short term area, most are long term park models. Internet is as additional charge as with cable. Looks like it could be a nice place in the winter for long term snowbirds but wasn't even close to what we expected. Know to make sure about the pool and the internet next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful CG. The roads are blacktop. The pool/hot tub was clean and warm. The pool showers had hot water. The site was gravel and not quite level but easily corrected with jacks. The sewage was not threaded and would not hold the connection tight. The no-seeum's were plentiful at the 90 degree temps. The 50A electric handled both A/C, hot water and laundry. Price reflects Passport America discount. We stayed 3 nights on site DD2. This site is close to the trash collection, but we had no smell. We would recommend exiting this site to the right. We will be staying here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects summer rates and per day rate based on one month stay. It has a great pool. Fishing in the river on the campground. Every facility you might want, but some inactive except November - March, when rates are double the summer rate. Lovely huge trees throughout the park, but not so much in the pull-thru RV area. We picked a spot amongst the mobile homes, which was nicer, we thought. Sewer hookups are ancient and could use upgrading, ie no screw mount so leaks/fumes can be a problem. Sitting outside at night exposes you to "no see-ums" which are tiny gnat like biting insects. Some people have allergic reactions to the bites and they swell up like mosquito bites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed the quiet at this campground. Our site (#28) was very spacious, level and provided much privacy. Boating is permitted on the lake, there is a tiny beach and a nice sized park. It's a perfect place for a little r&r. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There are probably a couple of sites that would accommodate a 40' RV and tow vehicle, but the one we booked wasn't one of them. The trees and the narrow winding road make it difficult for a big rig. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this campground; it is (almost) everything we look for in a good campground. Every site is wooded and private. There are other campers nearby, but they are not right on top of your site. The site was clean, had a fire pit, a picnic table and had 2 posts for us to set up our hammock. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, the shower water warm. Lake Manatee is a 3 minute walk and is a pretty lake, although we would not recommend swimming in it. The lake has a designated swimming area, but it was mucky, and there were alligator warning signs. The campground host was very friendly, and even drove up in the evening in his cart offering cheap firewood. This is a state park and so does not have a lot of the things you would find in a private resort such as pool, games, etc., but it had everything we look for in a park: peace, quiet, privacy, nature, and cleanliness. We strongly recommend this park to everyone looking for these things. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff at this park is very friendly. That said, this is not a resort type park. It consists of mostly permanent residents. Most of the residents are very personable with a few that seem to think they run the park. The river side of the park has more of a party atmosphere with music and campfires often late into the night. The other side of the park seems to shut down at about 8pm. My major issue here was with the price considering that there are very few amenities offered. There is wifi in the park, but it is spotty at best. All of the roads are dirt with plenty of potholes. It gets muddy when it rains and is dusty the rest of the time. They have put in new washers and dryers, but the washers are very small capacity. Many of the sewer hookups are old and not capped properly. Mine had a loose fitting top that allowed all the sewer gas to expel when I emptied my tanks. I had to let my trailer air out afterwards. I ate at the restaurant several times, and it was hit and miss as far as quality. I know that there are some size limits on what this park can accommodate. If you are coming with a larger motorhome, I would call ahead. I ended up leaving a couple of weeks early due to a family emergency, and I was surprised that the management didn't offer a credit of any kind considering the situation. My understanding from talking to some of the permanent residents is that the park has changed ownership and that since that time the prices have skyrocketed and the quality has declined. There are several other parks in the area that offer much more at the same price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an old mobile home park but many moved away and sites changed to RV usage. Roads are shell that needs smoothing and this can be dusty. Most sites have tree coverage that makes getting in challenging. Some sites have cable. Water pressure is about 25 psi so we utilized our tank and on-board pump for most water needs. This park was purchased by the county 2/11 so some of this may change. It was reported to have been purchased to protect a watershed; however, one of the commissioners had financial interest in the sale according to newspaper reports. The restaurant has large crowds but mixed reviews on the food quality. The restaurant was voted one of 15 most unique restaurants in the nation, thus it is worth a visit. Internet: We used a broadband card with no difficulty. There is a hotspot in the park we did not use. There are no water sites. There are a very few that have a view and these are occupied by very long-term guests. The park is not kid friendly meaning there are not thing like playgrounds. You may not swim in the river due to gaiters. It is a kayak launching point for many. We stayed a month and would return if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 5 weeks. Basically a residential CG, formerly a fishing lodge, it is known locally primarily for the restaurant. Give the food and the atmosphere both an "A." They also give food discounts to campers staying here. Everyone we met on the staff was wonderful. A little tight getting into our site but there were bigger spots. Not the most modern CG, no pool, etc., but great laundry facilities and close enough to "civilization." We'd come here again in a heartbeat. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I gave this park a 9 rating only because the location is far from the beaches. It is near to I-75 and that made it easy for us to get Sarasota without fighting the local traffic. This is a 55+ park. The people were friendly and there are lots of activities planned for those staying for the winter or year-round. Has a nice lake in the center where miniature boating is a fun pass-time. We didn't use the laundry (two on site) or showers. Wi-Fi and cable worked well for us. The rates here were much better than most for this time of year in this area. Most CG are full of snowbirds and it can be difficult to find a site. This CG has mostly permanent or wintering campers, so I'd suggest booking early. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a resort community that is quickly becoming only a mobile home community. As people purchase a site, the places for RV’s diminishes. They have many activities throughout the winter. The roads are asphalt and the sites are sand. An issue with the sand is the amount of dirt mixed with it. Between tracking it in and it blowing, there is almost a need for daily cleaning in the RV. Many of the mobile home owners have concreted or otherwise covered the sand to lessen the sand in the house. There is a man-made lake in the middle of the park that is good for running radio controlled boats in or fishing – some catch and release. There is Wi-Fi in the park, but if you need to have the link, this is not the place for you. The system logs you off repeatedly most of the time. This does include times in the middle of the night when the usage should be low. There are a few pull-thru sites, but in the winter they are always full of people staying for a month or more. The info on sites is not accurate as this would count the mobile home sites and sites occupied by RVs left all year; there are many of these rigs there. Not sure if we would return here. If we did not have dogs, we would go elsewhere. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a gated retirement resort around a man-made lake. The campground is locked at night with campers' access. Pull-through sites are large. CG has paved roads. Sites are easy to access. It's off the highway so it's very quiet. The pool is wonderful. It has excellent shower facilities but had only one commode in the men's bathroom. Bathhouses are very clean. The cable TV and Wi-Fi are very good. But, no supplies or foodstuffs are offered. It is really far from the beaches. Most of the sites are permanent with no shade. There are two laundry rooms: the smaller of the two is NOT air-conditioned. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is actually very close to Cortez, 2 miles to the great Anna Maria Island beaches, an easy bike. 55 plus community, nice clubhouse with pool tables and a library with Wi-Fi. Children allowed 2 weeks max. No pets. Wi-Fi not available at the RV site. Must make arrangements with Brighthouse to install cable, not good if you are staying only a week or less. A palm tree on each lot. Crushed stone pad with cement patio. Mostly snowbirds with trailers converted to permanent location with cement drives added, but clean and well kept. Looks like they are not allowing any more annual residents to free up space for more transient RV'er. Pool is located at adjacent, related development. Would not stay again, I need my Wi-Fi and cable! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here from Sept until mid-Nov 2012. Park is mostly fixed trailer type units that belong to snow birds. All sites are extremely close together. There was little to no parking your tow vehicle in the same site as your coach. Parking throughout whole place is extremely limited, but there is an overflow lot at the front of the park. Maneuverability with a dually towing a 42 ft. Fifth wheel was very tight (but doable). Site we were on was a back in site. Site also backed up to a holding pond of some sort as part of the cemetery next door. humid weather was a breeding ground for the mosquitoes and other flying critters. Water hookup was adequate, electric was old and could use updating. Site was not paved. Pull through sites were paved, but still very close together. Laundry facilities were dated, and washers could use updating. Dryers ran extremely hot, you had to watch them or they would burn your clothes. Mailboxes available if you want, mailbox and gate key required a $30 deposit (which you get back upon checkout). Shopping, restaurants, etc. was very close/accessible. Did not use pool or bath facilities. Manager was very standoffish, and not overly friendly. Had two occurrences of someone trying to break into our truck bed, and people 3 doors away fought loudly and often. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless there was nothing else available. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV resort is anything but a resort. There is more trash in this park than there is at the city dump. Not only that, dog waste liters the streets. I pulled into my site and stepped in dog waste, and then I noticed it in my tires. I was ready to leave. You are about 100 yards from I-75, and the noise gets unbearable at times. The resort (joke) has about 500 sites, with over half being permanent (campers), so you can see why this place can get trashy and residents thinking they own the place. The people are very friendly, but some of the staff need to find another line of work. This is my first and last time here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There are a few standard sites available for short stays. We had a choice of about 6 or 7. All of our choices were within 200 feet of I-75. Night time road noise is bothersome. We stayed 7 nights. You have to pay extra for internet connectivity, not worth the $16.95 we paid for the week. We had pre-school children playing outside unsupervised on the asphalt outer drive. The campground did not have a Resort atmosphere to it. We will not stay here again, as it doesn't fit our campground style, plus it was too expensive. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Highway noise from I-75. Oriented more towards seasonal owners than transients. Nice clubhouse, pool, and hot tub, otherwise park feels a bit dated. Access in the park OK for a larger RV. Rate reflects a week's stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
