A Very Very Nice Resort. The people and the management were very courteous and helpful. We were invited to many activities. Valentines day dinner and dance to a bike ride to a Mardi Gras parade and Cocktail get together. The Resort was landscaped very nicely and maintained. Both pools were very nice and well taken care of. I would highly recommend this resort to any RVer that wants to stay at a high end resort in Florida. Ft Myers obviously needs no review. There is plenty to do in the area and shopping and dining is abundant. Class A's and Fifth Wheel only permitted. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Lovely Park to visit - if the main pool is working. It goes down on are regular basis. We agree with the previous review and reiterate what they stated "The best part of Cypress Woods are the people. The biggest downside of Cypress Woods is the developer and his office staff, and this is why I would recommend AGAINST buying here. We met many disgruntled lot owners who described some of the shenanigans the developer has pulled. Two examples will suffice. (1) The park sprinkler system does not work, and yet the developer sent in a water tanker truck to take three 10,000 gallons loads of water to another property he owns. The water is paid for by lot owners. (2) The "homeowners association" board of directors are either employees of the developer, or hand picked by the developer to vote his way. As a result lot owners have no say in how the park is run, how money will be spent, or even what their monthly condo fee will be. There are countless other developer issues, which has caused a group of lot owners to hire a lawyer to fight the developer! As a renter you may not escape from the developer's clutches scot free: you may have to work with an individual we came to call Michelle the Minx, who is very unhelpful and obnoxious to renters, an opinion voiced by many other renters we met. Why the developer employs her I have no idea! Overall, Cypress Woods is a very nice place to spend the winter with congenial people, spoiled only by a shyster developer and his employees." Barking dogs left unattended for hours at a time. 20 break ins of units in a ten day period of time. Security which you pay for is non-existent. This is just two of the many true stories we can tell you about life in CW. Do not BUY in CW RV Resort or RENT for a long period of time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed on the lake and everything was excellent. The park was fairly empty since lots of folks had headed back up north. The park was clean and well maintained and pet friendly. Would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Hey. It's Florida in the winter time. Pads are sand. Rigs are wedged in so close that awnings and slides almost touch. Interior roads are paved and very narrow with extremely tight turns --- Very typical of this area. Wi-Fi is $15 extra. Although the park is in Ft. Myers, not Ft. Myers Beach, its a very convenient location to downtown, beaches, and area attractions. The park itself was ho-hum with the pool and hot tub the only amenities. Traffic noise could be a problem if you are close to the front of the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV park is one of the worst managed parks that I have ever stayed in. The restrooms are dirty, the office staff rude, and the manager isn't on site. I would think twice if I was thinking of staying in this area. There are nicer parks for less money and more pleasant staff within a few miles. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park and friendly people. Sites are very small but manageable as long as you don't mind neighbors as all sites are face to face. Wi-Fi is available through a private company on a pay by time basis. Dog friendly yes but not much space for walking. Campground was clean and well maintained. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great location. Friendly people on site and residents are nice. Must know the cleaning schedule for bathrooms before visiting them. Otherwise it's a hike to other restrooms. Close to beach and trolley service. We camped here in a Tent.

What a bad place . The wifi did not work. Real bad mngt. Its a Wilder campground, and they don't spend a penny here. Will never return here again. Stinky pond on property. We've camped our whole life and never experienced anything like this place. Theres alot of run down permanents here from the 60's that need to be removed. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

They are right on Highway 41 with a lot of traffic noise. They will tell you that it quiets down at night but they are not trying to sleep there. They are very strict on the dog rules, which are good, but if you do not know the rules you will be literally be ran down by the office manager and yelled at in front of anyone around. If there is anything that she doesn't agree with she will cuss and yell at anyone (her guests and the employees). The campground is well groomed and in pretty decent shape. If it is warm and people are running their air conditioners there will be a lot of power outages. Very few 50 AMP sites! They do not have enough picnic tables either. I would never stay at this campground again with what I experienced and seen from the manager. A lot of very nice people there that need to let the corporate office know how they are treated. I for one have. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It is a beautiful park, Palm trees and I thought the sites were pretty roomy. The other guests were mostly seniors, we have 3 kids and for the most part they were extremely friendly. It is not child friendly. No things at all for kids except pool, which we got yelled at for splashing..There is a beach 1 mile down the road though which was decent. very close to fort Myers Beach, and Sanibel.. We took a cab into Sanibel beach, there is not much parking.. overall it was very nice, quiet , clean, and close to everything We camped here in a Motorhome.

When we talked on the phone, they made the place seem like a great RV Resort. Arriving on a Sunday, as per our reservation, the office was closed (2:30 PM) They had an emergency number listed, but it was answered by a fax machine. We picked out a site a proceeded to park & setup. When backing a water pipe, next to the road, was broken, but could not report it to the fax machine. Basically this a Trailer Park, with no amenities, that one would expect at an RV resort. I'm trying o be nice, but this place is a dump. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has very nice office staff, friendly on site also. An older park with very tight spots and close to one another, but it's quiet considering an airport is near, and a major highway. We have a 30' TT + our Ford Expedition EL and had no problem backing into a corner spot. The grass was a little wet due to the massive rain they had 2 days prior, but that was not a problem. We would return for short stay. The fellow campers were very nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Shady is an older park with variable size sites and some very wet places. Rainstorms flood much of the camping area and make access difficult in places. In dry years this isn't an issue but in 2010 it's an issue. Park has many returning "snowbirds" so that tells you its a good place to stay. Lots of activities, social gatherings and sports are organized by snowbirds. Management has a very high turnover rate as witnessed by 3 managers in 2 years as well as high staff turnover. The current manager is daughter-in-law of owner and has some control issues to say the least. Treatment of staff seems to be an issue witnessed by high turnover. Manager tries to be very friendly and is making some good changes to the park which were never done before as money was not made available to previous managers to do much. The very controlling nature of the Manager is reducing the enjoyment of guests and will lead to people not returning. We are in our 6th year at this park but it may be the last as it is not as much fun anymore. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Agree mostly with Jan 08 review. Much traffic noise from nearby busy streets. There is a clubhouse. The pool exists but cannot be used by customers because it doesn't meet code for public pool; there are no plans to make the pool usable and available. Cheerful, friendly, helpful manager. We would stay here again as a stopover but not a destination park. Close to Camping World. Strong Verizon signal. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Overnight campground about 2 miles from the expressway. Basically open sites but many are too short for a big rig. We were able to squeeze our 40 footer into a site with some effort. Sites are wide with cement pads (no tables), and good 3 point connections. Most of the park is mobile homes and permanents but we were welcomed. Even in the high season, there were many sites available. A small pool is the extent of the recreational facilities, but the price was right. We stayed in a motor home. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed in Pull thrus. Nice concrete and long. Very reactive park. Power kept going out. Pricey park but lovely: sites were clean, paved and wide enough. Front desk personnel were very helpful and accommodating. The pool was heated to 86 degrees. The activities listed were amazing. The location gives easy access to all Ft. Myers and neighboring cities. Don't miss the entertainment and food at the Sandy Parrot, close by on 41. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We called at the very last moment and they were very nice to get us in. We also requested a more wooded and private site and they gave us # 702. It was not a bad site. This RV park has motorhomes and park models. We usually prefer to stay at state parks but for a few days this was just fine. Location location made this even better. They did allow us to use our camp USA discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.
