This park has fairly close sites. However, all are pull-through. The roads are all paved. It may be tight for some 40ft and larger rigs (ours is a 38ft class A). The staff is friendly and the grounds are well maintained. There are a number of older rigs with most residents appearing to be seasonal. There are some clubhouse activities and a pool. We did not need the facilities and used the park for a Disney World visit (12 miles away). The park was also quiet with no road noise or partying. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean park, but it's extremely tight with pretty good power and water pressure. 95% of residents are long timers. Interior roads need attention. If your rig is over 40 ft. including tow, consider a different park. There are NO designated places saved for overnighters. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Don't let the front gate fool you. Once you are here and in your spot you will find the grounds clean and well maintained. The owners are very nice and treated us very kind. The rest rooms and laundry were well maintained. The park is 95% permanent RV campers over the age of 50. The rec center and pool are a great addition as well. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Although this is a beautiful park and the snowbirds we met here were wonderful, we will NEVER go back. We stayed 2 weeks so we met a lot of people. Right from the start, the people in the office were surly and acted as if they didn't care if we were here or not. The park is poorly lit (many, too many, lights are burned out). It is dangerous to walk after dark as much of the asphalt is broken. It was dark by the time we were done in the office. They handed us a map and told us to go find our site, no offer to show us to it. This park is laid out like a maze, so just finding it was difficult, but parking a 40 foot rig alone appeared impossible. We asked if we could just sit overnight in their large parking lot and they said, "Sure, that will cost you $10.00". Mind you, we had already paid our entire fee for the stay up front and this was additional. That was not going to happen! We went ahead and drove in and with the aid of the folks (snowbirds) already there, got parked. The shower houses and bathrooms are filthy and the paint is peeling. The pool is NOT heated and padlocked so you couldn't even go sunbathe beside it. The dumpster is usually overflowing and smells horribly. One couple whom we made friends with, had to leave while we were here to attend her father's funeral. When they got back, their rent was 2 days late. When they explained this to the manager and apologized, he said, "My wife is in the hospital, but I still have to pay my bills. That will be a $50.00 late fee, it is good business." Even my mortgage company gives me a 10 day grace period. We also found out that many people who come every year and had sent a deposit for their lot, arrived to find it occupied and had to wait while other people moved.Most told us they only come back to see each other and also hate the management. They also said that for the last couple of years, most everyone who used to work here has been fired and now most everyone is related. Hmmmmm. The service at the restaurant was ridiculously slow and the food wasn't that good and was a little pricey for what it was, although there was a lot of it. They have a petting zoo, but charge $5.00 per person to go in, therefore a family with 2 small children would have to pay $20.00 to pet a couple of goats, ponies and pigs. Come on!!! Another couple told us about the 24 cabins in the park. Apparently with tax they cost just under a $100.00 per night. They are pretty basic, with a microwave and a small fridge. They offer NO DISCOUNTS. No senior discounts, no AARP, no nothing. Apparently this couple had two elderly relatives coming down to visit a sister. He was going to rent two cabins for them for two nights, he thought it would be convenient to have them close and they could eat a couple of times at the restaurant. When he found he couldn't get any kind of a discount he took them to the Travelodge, which is only 4 miles away for $52.95 per night including a hot breakfast. I didn't blame him. Well, I have gone on long enough, just be aware that this could be a wonderful place to stay, but it is not and it is all because management apparently just doesn't give a hoot about guests. They could learn a little, something from Disney, huh? We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful location and site. Lots of snowbirds and long term residents but where we stayed, everyone was friendly and the camp was quiet. The interior road to our campsite had two places where overhanging tree branches were so low, I drove off the road to avoid hitting them. But the main reason I rated the camp so low was the shower and washroom. It was clean but so old and run-down that it needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. No privacy in the shower area just an open dressing area and not even curtains across the shower stalls. No doors on the toilet stalls. I would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a tough one to review. If you removed all the permanent residents and if management actually enforced their rules (such as keeping sites clean, no loud music, pets on leashes, speed limits, number of vehicles per campsite) East Lake Fish Camp would be an amazing place to camp. The numerous trees and rural feel combined with the large lake right next door makes for a special RV park. The problem is the neighbors. Luckily we found a spot with empty spaces on either side otherwise this review would have been a 1. The daily rate is ridiculous and the weekly rate is misleading since they charge almost 20% in taxes on top of it. Location is 3 miles from Orlando Int Airport so depending on winds planes either are landing or taking off directly overhead. At night, when the airport shuts down, this place is silent. Basically this is a spot that is just waiting for someone with cash to buy it and make some minor modifications to turn it into a world class RV park. In the meantime it is simply a trailer park for permanent residents and the occasional vacationer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground,cabins, pavilions, restaurant, pool, boat rental, airboat rides, fishing, tree shaded sites, and quiet considering near Orlando Airport. Facilities are old but fairly well maintained. Besides Lake Toho bass fishing, the campground has small catch and release pond. Restaurant food is excellent, includes many "local" dishes. Not the campground for everyone, but relaxing and a bit of Old Florida. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Fair warning: if you want your RV to be infested with ants, including fire ants, this is the place. We paid up front for a week but could not stay the entire time because this place is infested with ants. The owners do not take proper care to keep this problem under control. We had to spend $50 in pesticides to get rid of the 3 species of ants that overran our RV and it took an extra couple of days AFTER we left to finish killing off the ants that invaded our home because of this park. Place looked ok on the surface when we arrived. Further looks showed that the bathrooms floors were not cleaned the entire time we were here. There is no AC in the bathrooms, which has two tiny windows that were no adequate to cool the area. There are bugs in the bathrooms. The laundry room doors are left open 24 hours a day with no AC, so it's hot, muggy and full of flying, biting bugs. Laundry room, bathrooms and the "Fellowship Hall" all part of the same building but only the "Fellowship" area had air conditioning. We were not invited to use this area at all. I was lied to by the staff. When we complained about the ant problem, I was told by a staff member that, "Everyone in the park has this problem every time it rains." When we left the park early, I was told by the owner that no-one else had this problem and the owner suggested that perhaps we brought the ants with us? (Not the case and I was offended at the suggestion and by the owner's uncaring attitude.) We were refunded the amount of time we did not stay with them (1 night). Overpriced compared to other parks in the area and our cost in pesticides to fix Merry D's ant problem made this place even more expensive. I cannot recommend this place at all. If I could give a negative star rating I would. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very old campsite with many permanent and older residents/units. There is little if any apparent control over clutter - many old units have junk under/around. Nevertheless, it is quiet (seniors sleep!) and the sites are large. If you are looking for a cheap place to hang your hat while you visit Disney then consider this place - less then 30 minutes away and no Orlando traffic. Do not expect good Wi-Fi service if you cannot see the laundry area - like many RV sites the owners advertise Wi-Fi on site but that is nonsense. A $75 router is not Wi-Fi on-site! Our cable TV did not work and the owners could have cared less. We don't watch much so that was not a problem but if you do, then take care because you too might get stung. Would we return? No - I think we would try to find an other place that is equally inexpensive - this cannot be the only one. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice place for a stop over to visit Disney World. Turning left out of the park and right at the second light takes you 14 miles to the entrance of Disney World. The spaces were wide with cement patios. Parked on sandy dirt. Entrance is very narrow. Water has very high sulfur content and stunk up our water heater. Lowe's and Autozone across the street, and four blocks down to a super-market. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great campground for people without children. There is not much for children to do. However, the sites on the North End are huge, the people very friendly, the park is extremely well kept, and very quiet. We stayed there five nights and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I'm, just going to say WOW! but I mean for a family camping trip please don't stay here. All full timer's what I mean, is that they stay there all the time ( campers don't move and could not move even if they wanted too. Just a place to retire if want the slow life. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There are two sections of this park. We camped in the North section which is new. The sites are large and well kept in the new section. In the older section of the park the sites are much closer together and there are mostly permanent campers. Many of them are not very neat. The water has a sulphur smell, but a good filter will take care of must of it. The Wi-Fi is free now and works well. There are some planned activities which were well attended. Super Wal-Mart and a Grocery store are nearby. Disney is about 30 minuites away. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a family operated park. We had our FW in their storage for about a month, and stay there for only one night in a spacious pull through site. The downside is there are many permanent older trailers there, and nothing really for the kids to play. We will store our FW in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a very spacious site for our big rig. Quiet park with a country setting and natural landscape. As with many winter Florida campgrounds, there are many seasonal residents. Some sites are untidy with older trailers. Disney World is about 35-40 minutes away. Walmart is about one mile away. We had the monthly rate of $610.00 which does not include electricity. Electricity for the month was $60.00. There is a lot of sulphur in the water, which at times, is quite smelly. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The Park is clean and the grass is green. They are adding blacktop pads to some of the sites. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any problems. The only downsides are the wifi is not free and there is some road noise from the turnpike. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Extra cost wifi was amateurish, inefficient and unreliable - thankfully the library was 5 minutes away in Poinciana with its own free wifi and computers. Sites were very large, however, there were a lot of ant hills to deal with throughout the sites but that is pretty common in central Florida. The WiFi was $5/day but the service was sporadic. The office staff said that the problem was with the provider, they kindly refunded our money. When it was working it was very fast. Nice quiet place for a stopover, not many amenities. There was a good number of long term residents in this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The management of this park does not care about the appearance of the park nor the maintenance of the showers and bathrooms. The swinging doors in the men’s room stalls were “repaired” with cardboard and tape! Tile falling off the shower walls, paint flaking, and drain stopped up in another shower shall. When we arrived at our site, there was a car parked in it. When we finally located the owner of the car, he was upset with us that we were taking "his" parking spot! Numerous “residents” are allowed to trash their sites with everything from car engines to table saws. Awnings repaired with blue tarps. The showers and bathrooms are some of the worst I’ve seen in over 15 years or RVing. To call this place a “resort” is false advertising! The only positive thing I can say about this park was the internet was free, but you were “bumped off” if you were active on it. I would NOT stay here again! This park is at the "bottom of the barrel" of RV parks! Price based on military veterans discount offered by Carefree. A very limited number of sites for overnight visitors. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park has allot of permanent residents, it is more like a trailer park than a RV camping park. Men's bathrooms were old and looked like they tried to bring them up to date minus privacy doors for the toilets. Just use the bathroom and showers in your camper if you stay here. Neighbors were not friendly, people would not even say good morning, not even the workers. This park caters to the people that stay year round with them. No playground for kids, people in this park are not kid friendly. This is in what I would call, a not safe area to camp in, as you always heard sirens at night. Every two hours during the night you heard a train horn, if you are a light sleeper you will wake up every couple hours during the night. Workers are helpful when you ask them something but not friendly to say good morning when they drive buy everyday. We would only stay here again if there was absolutely no where else to stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Price based on monthly rate. People are very nice and friendly. The campground has a mixture of big rigs here for the winter and permanent residents. The location in Kissimmee is very good with close proximity to shopping and attractions. Although the lots are rather small, our motorhome fit nicely. Nice pool. Mail boxes. Cable and phone contracted separately. We get excellent TV reception without cable. For internet, camp close to the office. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is just fine for a few days. Yes, there are lots of mobile homes and permanent residents on site, but we took a few walks and people were always friendly to say hello, and we never felt it was dirty or unsafe. We had guests one day that used the pool and liked it. The bathrooms while clean were a bit, well, odd. The doors on the stalls to the toilets are swinging doors, no locks, no nothing, starting about knee high and when you stand up you can see over them. Not the most privacy ever. Shower is the same thing with one swinging door and two showers in opposite sides with 3 hooks in the middle. I never saw anyone using the shower at the same time as another person, just a bit odd. Other than that, it's a great location and pretty park with a creek and trees with moss. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because it honors Passport America and we only paid $16/night. The 152 FHU sites is misleading as most of the sites are occupied by long term residents and the rest of the park consists of park models or sticks & bricks houses. The park is older and many of the long term occupants do not maintain their homes. The term "resort" is false. While the site we had is long enough for our 36' 5th wheel, it is narrow and we had a tough time getting in it due to the houses across the street. We'd stay here again if necessary, but only because of the PA discount. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here 16 days and very pleasantly surprised by this park. It was suggested we take site 6, which was a site off by itself but very large with a tree on it. Very easily handled our 37 ft toy hauler with lots of room for bike and truck. The park is primarily permanents, but they are very friendly. Limited activities but there is a take out twice a week to give you a break from cooking. Pool was stained so did not use it. Laundry was clean and efficient. There are all types of trailers here: pop ups, temps, motor homes, truck campers, and they seem to get weekend transient traffic. We did see a number of children here, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would stay here again with no hesitation. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

However, by the time I got here I was "resorted out" and simply looking for a safe place to hook up and spend the night without being ripped off while I prepared for a 3.5k roadtrip. This old park is pretty sad. Lot of permanent residence with old rigs and trash all around. The staff was nice and friendly. Previous comments stated they had cable TV and this park doesn't and never had. Bathrooms were very old, but reasonably clean. Park is close to Disney World and other attractions, so is convenient in that manner. We parked in the best/largest spot they had with is across from the office. The rig sank in the ruts of sand. We won't be returning. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Older park built before slideouts and large rigs. Streets are narrow with tight turns on several streets. RV is on grass/dirt with a concrete patio with a small picnic table. Water pressure fluctuates, voltage was good, did not use cable. There is no breaker box, just a 50 amp receptacle. Lots of returning seasonals staying 3-6 months. Park tow vehicle or toad beside RV on grass, no problem. All streets are one way. Large water treatment pond in center of park but no problem. Outside lighting is good. We stayed 3 weeks but will stay somewhere else if we return to this area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a very pleasant stay at this campground. We came for a visit to some of the amusement parks in the area. The pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. The laundry area was also clean and was open 24 hours. The roads were paved (perfect for riding a bike). If I had to pick out something that could use improvement, I would have to say it would be the playground. The playground is only for very young children. The campground was super clean and well kept. The rates were extremely reasonable considering the area. I was a little nervous when we first found it, as it is located right in the middle of a very active area. There was no security gate, but we never noticed any issues whatsoever during our stay. The manager was very nice, and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park. Clean, friendly, WI-FI actually works, and large pull through sites. No park models, no broken down trailers. About 10 min to the major attractions. Will always stay here when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects KOA discount and 4 children. This KOA is extremely clean and well-located to Orlando attractions. Sites are level and a late check-in was easy. Bathrooms are well maintained. Showers are separate and clean despite high usage. There are two reasons that I did not give it a '10'. First, despite what I consider relatively high rates, wifi is an extra charge. Needless to say, we did not use the wifi so I cannot comment on it. Secondly, on check-out, we felt rushed out. The camper pulling in to our site arrived early and was allowed to back-up into our site while we were still sleeping! Not terribly bothersome but it felt intrusive. There is plenty of room for kids to ride bikes and enjoy the outdoors. It was a good alternative to Fort Wilderness, but certainly not equivalent. We would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is located well for a visit Disney Parks. I did not use the showers or restroom facilities, but I did check out the family bathroom. It was clean. The regular showers had only a shower with no mirrors or plugs. The laundry room has four washers and four dryers costing $1.75 per washer and $1.00 for dryers. It was in a rather small screened in area and wasn't air conditioned, but did have a ceiling fan. It got pretty hot inside while I was doing laundry. They do have a small exercise room, but it closes at 5:00. We like to work out after a day of exploring and it was impossible to utilize it during those hours. Saw many clothes hanging out to dry and heard barking dogs late into the night coming from a pop-up camper two sites down. The sites are very tight. We arrived after dark when the office was closed. We found our site but the park was full and maneuvering was very tight especially with large rigs and tow vehicles blocking turning room. The people were friendly and the Wi-Fi and cable worked well for us. This was a less expensive option than some other campgrounds in the area. Rates are higher than I would like but it's in a high demand area and if you want to be there you pay more. Our rate reflects the KOA discount. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent staff, good check in, led to site. Long pull through sites, good utilities, and close to a lot of activities in the Orlando area. Only issue is price, but that is to be expected of a quality facility in Orlando. Our second time to visit, and will come again if in the area. One of the best KOA's facilities that we have used. Came here for the Arena Football game and to relax - great place for that. A little pricey but I changed my reservation four times with no harm or foul. They even called me when I goofed up the dates so I would not loose my deposit. The pool is open 23 hours a day! Sites are concrete, big rig compatible with 50 amp. Streets are a tad tight but thought was given to turning radius so there is room. Employees are professional, friendly and helpful. All the amenities you would expect from KOA - laundry, dog park, pool, 3 wheel bike things. My Nextel/Sprint MiFi hit 4g, not many trees so satellite worked fine. There is Wi-Fi, first day is free after that it is $1 a day that goes towards KOA kids. Only downside is the price, but it is everything you would expect from KOA. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is exceptionally clean and well laid out. It is in a great location. The staff was very helpful when we had a problem with the breaker. They replaced it ASAP. The park has a nice dog park, pool area and playground. It was quiet, no road noise at all. We are planning to stay again next month. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is very clean and well maintained. Even the dog walk and dog park were clean. The people were all very friendly and helpful. We would have given a 10, but the location next to busy highway and businesses was a little troubling at first, but once settled in, we felt safe and comfortable. What a super nice place to stay. We tried, unsuccessfully, to get a spot on the Disney park but we didn't plan well and they were booked up. What we found at this KOA is exactly where we'll stay from now on. Super nice people, really clean and well maintained and pretty darn close to the parks (a little far from Universal) at a great price. The previous reviewer was correct, it is pretty close to Waffle House, but that just makes it easier to grab some "smothered, covered and capped" all that easier in the morning. We will Absolutely recommend this place. Spring for the upgraded spots, we took an economy slot and it was nice but a little small. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This KOA is very well run and kept in great shape. Most of the amenities felt fairly new. The management was nice and attentive to any requests we made. The only negative is location. You are very close to a major road. It also feels like there is very little separation between you and the establishments that surround you. Specifically, we were within spitting distance of a Waffle House and Wendy's. Being this close to these establishments with people milling about their parking lots late at night, left me feeling a tiny bit unsafe. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The entrance to this campground is very well marked and easy to find and this is possibly one of the most inviting campgrounds we have ever stayed at. We were sorry to leave at the end of our three nights. This park is very well laid out to allow easy access from the paved roads to each site and is exceptionally well maintained. Our long, level pull-through had a concrete pad and was nicely landscaped. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a large, clean and well-equipped laundry room near the pool and the restrooms are clean and neat. We would be happy to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is by far the best KOA we have stayed at so far. The grounds were well maintained. All the pull thru sites were paved with concrete patios. The leash free dog camp was really great. We'd stay here again when in the area. We had no problem with the area except that you're in an urban setting with all the types of things you'd expect to see/hear. It is a very nice campground with very efficient and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere with activities planned each night. Very good Wi-Fi, laundry, convenient to everything in the area. Nicely groomed and landscaped. The price may seem high but everything in Orlando is sky-high nowadays. I missed the drunk up near the hotel, but I'll watch next time. Wouldn't want to miss that! Stayed at this KOA on a special rate of pay for 1 nights and get the next night free. Was here for 6 days. This KOA is at 132 feet elevation. Stayed in Site 209 which offered 30/50 amp service and full Hookups. Wi-Fi is available for an extra charge but cable was free. Roads are asphalt with concrete site and patio. Site spacing was good. Campground is pet friendly. Wal-Mart was 2 miles from campground and Publix Grocery was 1 mile. Camping world is also about 2 miles away. Sam's Club is right next door. Unable to comment on other amenities as I did not use them. Staff is very customer oriented. Go to KOA.com for more information. Was able to receive Dish 110/119 Satellite TV, AT&T Wireless G3 Internet and AT&T Cellular Service from this site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

$68 dollars a night to stay at this campground is a total rip. Add to that there's an extra fee for wi-fi. Seemed like a cheap chisel for a park that costs this much. The park itself is nice, big paved spaces, but the neighborhood is definitely in decline, and nighttime security is far from comforting. There's not much to do near the park, you have to drive a long way to the nicer parts of town. Restaurants near the park are the low-end greasy spoon places. The half-naked drunk guy screaming at his wife in the doorway of the cheap hotel in front of the campground was just the perfect touch to top off our stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We usually stick to KOA's where ever we go, but we won't be staying at this one again. The park is small with little shade. Well appointed, but tremendously expensive. $183 for three nights and that was with one night free. On top of that they chiseled us another $8.00 for Wi-Fi. We could have stayed at a hotel for less and got Wi-Fi included. We usually trust the KOA brand but will not be staying here again. This is the first time we've ever been at all tempted to pack up and leave any campground. I can say some nice things about it. The staff is very nice and it's a very kid friendly park, close to Disney World, if you have the $$$. Otherwise avoid this campground until they bring their prices in line with reality and include Wi-Fi. Drive a little farther and save some money. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have just spent 2 weeks here, the staff has been excellent. They have been helpful and friendly. The GM is fully aware of his guests but is not 'in your face.' They allow you to enjoy the facilities and simply relax. My sister came up in a van for a night and they were happy to offer a discounted rate. The cable TV was not very good, we have our own Wi-Fi, but we loved the dog park. The park is half empty and very few kids when compared with other KOA's. Perhaps because it is a bit too expensive, so families go to other campgrounds. The workcampers are constantly working, they had 28 huge palms trees planted while we were here. We liked it here and think its one of the better KOA's and will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pricey, but well worth it. Breakfast on Sunday mornings at no extra cost and the food is really good. Employees are all dressed alike which is great to identify who they are when you need them. Park is extremely kid friendly and pet friendly. There is a playground, basketball court, tether ball, and a separate dog park for play. It's extremely clean and well maintained. Campground was about 50% occupied when we were here. The staff was friendly. We had a paved, pull through site with very easy access. The CATV only had about 25 channels and all but about two channels had fuzzy reception. The WiFi was not free, required a credit card charge of $4 per day. We were not expecting to be charged for WiFi. Some sites were grass sites. Did not shop in the store, so we cannot discuss the prices or the availability of supplies. I was not very impressed with this place. We reserved a pull-through site with a concrete pad. When we arrived we found out that they over-booked and we ended up with a grass site that was at the back of the park. Our site was flooded when we arrived at it. During our 4 day stay it rained every single day and each day when we would return from one of the Disney parks we came back to find our TT was sitting in water that was high enough to be about half way between our ankles and knees. Fortunately there was a concrete pad with a picnic table right next to the TT and I had the foresight to park the TT close enough to it that the steps opened up above the pad. I would back my truck up over the pad so my wife and daughter could get out without having to stand in water and then I would turn the truck around so I could get out in the same manner. The bathrooms were not that clean and neither were the showers. We originally wanted to stay in Wilderness Camp at Disney but they were booked so we ended up here. Next time if we cannot get into Fort Wilderness I'm just going to cancel the trip. By the way they charge additional for Wi-Fi. Also the guy next to me got stuck when he was trying to back in his camper and I heard the staff laughing about it. When one of the staff asked the other staff member if they should get the truck and help pull him out he said "no it's not our problem why should we get our truck dirty". That really turned me off and I ended up pulling him out since I have 4 wheel drive. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is an excellent campground. I wish I had found this one before we stayed at the other KOA in Orlando. It's very clean with lots of amenities and a good price. Cons- 1) Close to the main road, so there is some traffic noise 2) You have to pay for Wi-Fi (but it is a decent connection) 3) The cable quality is pretty crappy and you don't get many channels Pros 1) Trash pickup at site 2) Very clean, nice bathrooms/showers. They even have family showers (with TVs!) so those of us with kids can take showers easily 3) Dog park! Our dogs and child loved running around in the off leash area with several toys for the dogs (only bad part is it is pretty small and with more than a few dogs would be very crowded) 4) The playground is a little old, but the perfect size for my toddler. 5) The store is actually a store and carries many things you might want/need (I've been to many that don't carry much beyond ice and sunblock) 6) Nice deluxe sites, ours had a fire pit. All of them are completely concreted, which is great for me because I'm allergic to fire ants. 7) The pool is open 24/7 and is heated and very nice. All in all, I'd definitely stay here again. The price is good, and you're so close to all of Orlando's attractions. It wasn't busy at all when we stayed here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A clean and well maintained park. The owner was friendly. He upgraded us because all the rain made the back sites muddy and it was a slow week. Very nice 24-hour pool and a hot hub with huge deck. Has very level lots. Not really a place to have a campfire and you have to have it in one their fire pits. Own only negative item (for our interest) is that this is "city" camping. The four sides are surrounded by road and trees, back of a shopping center, Sam Club and Wendy's and a condo resort. Close to WDW and the Sea World Parks (~15 min). For the price: if you are visiting Disney, I'd stay at Ft. Wilderness. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for our week out of Thousand Trails and was disappointed with the park. Staff was not friendly, spaces were very short and very unlevel. Our patio was cracked and unlevel. Like most RV parks in Florida there are many full-time residents here in rigs that are old and not street worthy anymore. We probably will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We came to the Kissimmee KOA after having problems with poor water service at another campground in Kissimmee. We had no reservation and initially checked at the park to look around. If fantastic personable people are your cup of tea, this RV park is for you. We had a great site, warm, friendly staff who really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We have stayed for years at "the other place". From now on this will be our RV park of choice. Is it perfect? No- none are- there was somewhat slow Wi-Fi (not their fault) and none of the Kissimmee parks have cable TV to talk about. But if you are looking for a personable park with really well maintained sites, you owe it to yourself to stay here. We will be returning here soon. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in 2006 and 2007 and were very disappointed in the rates this year. It is so expensive to travel with fuel costs being so high, we were surprised that the site cost had gone up so much, too. However, the deluxe sites are very nice and included patio furniture, brick patio and chimnea. They are very pet friendly. The rest rooms were very nice and clean with extra touches of decoration, makeup mirror and smooth top vanities and extremely clean showers with plenty of shelves and hooks. Easy access to all roads for all activities and parks. Even though it was close to the road, we had no noise problems. Sites were a little close, but staggered, so our neighbors weren't directly on line with us. I would love to see the park lower the rates a bit and maybe they would be more full. There are other locations in the Orlando area that are just as nice for less money. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very clean rv park with beautiful sites. You are approximately 5 miles from the entrance to Disney World and close to numerous other area attractions. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and nice. There are two pet areas, one fenced in the other not. Pool area is really nice with thatched roof sitting areas and large deck with wheelchair access overlooking pool and jacuzzi. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the store was priced to compete with area stores on rv supplies and snacks. Cable was $2 a night extra. Superb campground. Staff is incredibly friendly, sites and CG are very well maintained. Laundry room is excellent, pool area w/ hot tub also excellent. One row of spaces does back up to a side street but there is very little traffic if that is a concern ask for a different site, there are plenty of great ones. Overall this is an excellent CG. Great Wifi reception, cable available if you need it and good view of the sky on all spaces for Satellite coverage should you want that. Right in the middle of town, very close to Disney parks, great shopping, food and more. Highly recommended. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed on site 209 with Patio with furniture and a fire pot and wooden swing. Even though they had had rain every day for over a week it was well drained. Although across from a Sams Club it is quiet. Staff was very friendly. The campground is "new" as it used to be on the Sams site. Our pull through was over 150 ft long. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are currently at this Kissimmee KOA and I have to say that we are VERY pleased. This campground is immaculate in every detail. We are in one of their "super-sites" and it's lovely. Stone-like patio, iron patio furniture, wood swing, chiminea (with free bag of fire-wood) and picnic table. There are many palm trees, (some just little), along with other lovely tropical plantings throughout the campground. Garbage is picked up all day. The showers are lovely, pool is very nice with hot-tub. We have excellent Wi-Fi signal. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We also have priviledges at the Holiday Inn: pool, facilities, etc. The Kissimmee KOA is within 15 easy minutes of Universal and 5 minutes of Disney. Sam's Club, Super Target and other grocery stores are less than a 1 minute drive, along with many restaurants. We're very pleased with this campground and would definitely, and I MEAN definitely return in the future!!!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an immaculate KOA very conveniently located to WDW and shopping both on 192 and 535. The staff is incredibly helpful, after driving us to site even offered to help with hookups. WiFi still has a lousy signal, but our external USB WiFi antenna solved that problem. Entrance is very narrow and almost impossible to turn right into without going into the far left lane (we turned around in Sam's parking lot). Turns are tight but negotiable and you are very close to neighbor unless you have the top-of-the-line patio site with patio furniture and chiminea(?). We camped here in a Motorhome.

Location is very good for Disney access. Price is steep at $64/night in mid-April, plus $2.00 for cable. Plus $6 per 12 hours wifi access (only other options are for monthly access rates) with very low signal reception (we were next to the Hotspotzz station we were told. ) This is definitely a updated KOA, roads and sites are paved, occasional patio furniture, but it is a KOA - sites are close together in most cases. If being close to Disney/shopping are your needs, this is OK. We have stayed in worse campgrounds in this area, but the price here seems a bit on the high side for a KOA. The total tab less the KOA discount, plus the taxes was $67.23 for one night. The cost of the wifi via Hotspotzz is really aggravating - most other wifi companies at campgrounds at least give you 24 hours for the price or offer 3 day or 1 week service at reasonable cost. But like everything at any KOA - expect the least for the most. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a extremely well run parked. The staff was very helpful and nice. The park was very clean and in close proxitimy to the major attractions. The main road outside the park was undergoing construction and there was some noise from that, but after a couple of nights, you got used to it. The pool area was very clean and other than a small playground with a basketball goal there wasn't much for the children to do. But hey that's why you got mickey and the gang. This is a KOA company owned and operated park. It is very nice. The only complaint was with the KOA Konnect wireless internet connection. It worked poorly or not at all. The managers were powerless to get it fixed. The staff is all transient so they cannot give good directions. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good KOA near Disney World. Only 2 years old, right next to a new Sam's Club. Old KOA was removed and Sam's was built on that site. This KOA is just South of the old site. When we were there it was still being finished but we had no problems and are staying again this month. This campground is right in the thick of things on US192 but just enough off of the road to not bother anyone. It is also very near a Publix supermarket. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Please read the reviews before making the mistake of staying at this RV Park. It is extremely loud because the park is literally right under the Florida Turnpike. The RV sites are very small and not much room to park a big rig or to put out slides. The park staff is friendly, and they have lots of amenities. But it doesn't make up for the crowded conditions and the noise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our needs are few: full hook-ups, pull-through, pet friendly. This park met all those needs. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the pull-through spots in the back and did not hear the Turnpike. Park is mostly seasonals with a number of park models; most units are well maintained. Sites are grass, roads are paved and wide, and there is a security gate with a combination. Most of the daily rate sites are back-in and towards the front. They looked pretty wide, fairly level, deep enough for the big 5th wheels and not too tricky to get into. We stayed 5 days/4 nights: attended an arena football game, 2 day competition and an appointment with a specialist so we did not participate in any activities or socialize past walking the dogs. Also did not use the restrooms. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Passport America. The only reason I stayed here was to see if older reviews were fixed and it was close to the Rodeo arena. Access in was easy, check in was easy with a very friendly front desk person. Got assigned site #31. Site had dirt and leaves on it but was OK. Site backed up to a fence which behind the fence is Florida Turn Pike. VERY NOISY ROAD all hours of the night. First night I did not fall asleep till 3 am but still heard cars and trucks all night long. There is no way around the noise at this campground as I asked other campers and they said they just muted it out. This is not a quiet campground (people quiet YES) traffic quiet no, never stopped the whole two days we were there. Found out that we can camp at the rodeo grounds next time. Wi-Fi says is available, we paid $10 for 48 hours of Wi-Fi and had no access luck of any kind. Park contracts the Wi-Fi out to a third party so office staff has nothing to do with Wi-Fi, will dispute our charge as they took our money no problem but customer service to help us get connected was not there, we left two messages for them to help us and did not get a call back. WE WILL NOT STAY HERE OR RECCOMMEND ANYONE THAT CAN HEAR TO STAY HERE. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were told after arriving on site that we would have cable TV. The cable fitting had been removed and an office employee sent someone to our site to fix it. We were then informed that since we didn't live here fulltime, we would have to contact the cable company for hookup and a fee of approximately $50.00. This was a very quick two night stay. Had difficulty finding availability in Kissimmee so settled on this park. This was an old park with a lot of permanent residents. Not high end at all but it served our purpose. Sites were very close and it was difficult to back our motorhome into its slot but got it done. Internet is available but you have to pay for it. We made use of unsecured users in the park. Probably would not stay here again but only because it is not as new and modern as we like. If you like a more natural setting, would recommend Lake Louisa State Park near Davenport. It's very pretty and only 15-minutes from most of the Disney theme parks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This a park with lots of long term campers. It still looked pretty neat. The place we got was an overflow one and that was on the narrow side. The normal sites aren't that big either. You had to pay for the Wi-Fi. We didn't use it and we got free Wi-Fi at the little Ice Cafe next to the very near Publix store. The restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained as was the pool. For the price we paid you can stay at a lot nicer campgrounds in the area, Davenport for instance. I'm surprised that it is a Passport America campground. Most of the spots have permanent structures on them. We stayed here only because it was convenient to our family. Our rate was based on the in-season weekly rate, a real bargain when you consider the costs of other nearby parks. As previous posters have mentioned, the only real downside to this park is the Florida Turnpike and, as a short term resident, you will be placed in a space right up against the highway. A white noise machine and using the fan or a/c at night kept the noise under control. Light sleepers might consider earplugs. The staff committed a royal muck-up when we had to leave our site for some service work; we returned and they had assigned the site to someone else, despite our paying for a week and advising them that we would be off-site for a day or two. They quickly found us another site and bent over backwards to make up for the error. We found the size of the spaces larger than most parks, with plenty of room to extend slides and park toads. The Wifi costs $6/day, $20/wk, $40/mo, but it does function well. There's a nice rec room, a clean pool and some shuffleboard courts. I'm not giving it a 10 because of the highway and the lack of free wifi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is definitely a seasonal park for the most part. They only have 2 pull thrus and the 40ft limit is really stretching it. The sites are so narrow that if your neighbor has a slide you will not be able to open your main awning. We were put in a new site that used to be the storage area and it was awful. Backed up to the Florida Turnpike so very noisy all day long and most of the night. Lot was 80 percent sand and 10 percent limestone. Some grass and lots of fire ants. We were there to visit the attractions only so we were okay but if you like to be outside any this is not the place to be. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a month in April, so the busy season was over and the park emptied out very quickly. The downfall to that is that there are no activities.. The pool area is nice. They have a nice little tiki bar you can use when you go over to use the free internet-which was fast. We used it to face time with the family. They have a clubhouse with a pool table and exercise room and also a fun little miniature golf course. The RV park had quite a bit of wild life. We have seen owls, squirrels, armadillos, frogs, cranes and ducks. The area this park is in, is like it has its own little area of Kissimmee when you drive in. It is a private drive so the mobile park and RV park have the entire area to themselves. It is also in a part of town that has everything you could want within walking distance. Flea markets, restaurants and gift shops. It is very close to Disney World and Universal Studios. We stayed on the Thousand Trails discounted rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a big resort park, that at least during our stay was primarily a destination for snowbirds, and it's set up well for that purpose. They take Passport but only from April till October. We stayed on one of the majority grass sites. I think they could pay more attention to the fire ant problem at these sites, ours was not the only one that had a couple mounds. Facilities were nicely kept up, pools, community rooms, mini-golf course. Couple beefs with the service kind of things. They offer-not include Tengo Wi-Fi at 5 bucks a day, I think that's pretty lousy at "resort" prices (and they charge you the local "resort" fee for whatever that is) and the laundry takes a smart card rather than coins. They only place to re-charge your card is up at the office...so after you trek your laundry down, find out you need a card, walk back to the office to get a card, then back to your camper to get cash-because you can only charge the card up in increments of $5-then back to the office, then back to the laundry. Would it be so hard to put one of the card chargers IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM! Of for that matter let you know at check-in that internet was extra and you needed a card for the laundry. The gentleman at the front desk was rather indignant that we were not aware of those things 2 days into our stay, and was surprised we were not given that information at check-in, which was ironic as he was the one that checked us in. No reason that this could not have been part of our check-in packet. Apart from that, staff were friendly and helpful. It was convenient to the parks, there is a Camping World a mile up the road as well. Hookups were all in good repair and cable was very good. Would consider staying again, but would consider looking around as well. Better communication at checking would have brought their numbers up in my assessment. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here one night on the Passport America rate. We were escorted to a pull through site and once there, they left. Plenty of things to do with kids if they like putt putt golf (must leave DL at Front Desk), 4 pools, and a playground for kids. All sites were full hook, water, electric, sewer. Had cable TV but I could not get a program on our TV so I just used our antenna. Not very full this time of year but people were spread out. You can see who the long term residents are by the condition of the their campers. Would ask for a shady spot if you can find one so that the AC does not run so much. Front desk was nice but had no sense of humor. They do not know how much things are in town, they just direct you to drive in town to see. Much busier during the winter months as we drove through here once in November to just check it out. If you like plenty of people and sunshine then this is the place for you during the busy times of the year. Good for a one night stay or more if you can choose a shady spot. Would stay here again just for the local one or two night events that we went to. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice campground with pull through sites and some back ins. We were in a pull through with plenty of room for slides and site was fairly level with sand and a concrete pad. Very close to Disney World and restaurants, also Old Towne just a few miles west. Streets are paved and pet walking is good, with boxes with dooty bags and receptacle. Laundry area is very good, the machines were in good working order. Staff in the office were friendly. Park is maintained well and has shuffleboard and a putt putt course, and play area. This was just an overnight stay. The renters seemed pleasant but the property seemed worn. A few of us got here before the office closed so we weren't sure if it was open or not, even though I called ahead of time. We arrived in the dark and it was hard to maneuver in the narrow roads and bends in the roads, not well lit really. We were part of a rally, the cement pads were all broken and uneven. The office placed the rally members all over the place with no regard to trying to keep us together. They were not helpful when we complained. We all have big motor homes and many members were placed on sites that were too small. We stayed at this resort as Coast to Coast members and it was our first time with a Encore park. We went through our trip point and had reservations . I called them as we left Lazy Days RVresort and they told us that they only save back 5 sites for Coast to Coast . We got there around noon and unhooked our toad and drove around for over a hour looking at the sites they gave us. The park was maybe 1/2 full and had over 250 sites open as it was in the middle of the week. All the sites were by old trailers that were run down and not lived in for years. One was by the dumpster and all were just bad sites.When I asked the front desk they said Coast to Coast picks out those sites.I called Coast to Coast and made a complaint to them . They said they do not pick the sites out and could not understand with their park having 250 sites open that they could not give us a better site .You would think they would gave us a better site since it was our first time with their resorts.My sister and brother in law who are getting ready to retire wanted to look at there little condos they had for sale. But it was 5.00 pm and they did not have time to show them . Are all the Encore parks this rude to us Baby boomers or is this just a bad park in their system. I could see if the park was full or on the weekend getting a crappy site but this was in the middle of the week. In closing it was a nice resort and had nice pools and hot tub and Coast to Coast called us back and said that Encore was sorry for what we went through and was going to call the resort and pick out different sites as it has been years since they have looked at the sites.Thanks for letting me vent. This is a very large park located in the heart of the tourist part of Orlando. The park has night time restricted access so we never felt unsafe here. You get a choice of shaded or open spots. We stayed here under a special Thousand Trails rate so I really don't know what the regular rate is. There are a ton of RV places to stay at in the Kissimmee/Clermont area, all conveniently located to all the Disney attractions. This particular resort is older with a lot of old 5th wheels and trailers that will never ever see the highway again. Lots of rust. There are also a lot of newer RVs in the resort too. The staff was nice but the washing machine/dryer setup is not really setup for someone who is going to be there for a short time as they don't take coin, you have to get a card then load it up with money so when you leave you probably will have a card with money still on it. That I guess you can't use again unless you come back to the resort. It's probably great for the long term residents though. The sites as in most Florida resorts are pretty level. No bugs that I felt bite. Nice and quiet. Big turnouts for shuffleboard. A very nice 18 hole putt-putt course that was maintained very nicely. You are located on US 192 which has a TON of attractions and eaterys up and down the road. You are about eight miles from Disney. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Folks that spend the winter there advised us that several bicycles had been stolen in broad daylight. Thirty two foot wide grass lots with a concrete patio. No fire rings or picnic table. Interior roads are paved. Most of the lots are seasonal or permanent residents. There is a shuffleboard, fitness center, playground, laundry, store, horse shoes, mini-golf and basketball court. There is a nice clubhouse. Convenient to Disney and Sea World. Park is located in a rural area: we were alone. Only one other camper that appeared to be permanent and a distance away, and about 10 fifth-wheeler snowbirds that flew north for the summer and left their rigs. The air boat ride was great. Some air boat noise, but to be expected for that type of area. We choose not to use bathrooms. There's a little too many mosquitoes: again expected. It was relaxing as we choose to take short walks and stay inside the RV. We would do this again if we wanted to just relax. Most areas to visit, including Camping World are about 30-40 minute drive. We had to change from a lake-view spot as it was way too narrow for our motorhome. Moved to site 26: just across the road, facing the lake, with 50 amp service. The cost is with AAA Auto Discount. This is a nice park with lots of wildlife. Office staff is busy at times with processing the boat rides and tend to be short with customers at times. Some of the long term people at times tend to think they need to tell us short term visitors what to do, which can be irritating. The guys driving the airboats were great. I went with my 16 year old, and he enjoyed it. Nice to be away from the city hub bub. We traveled in a motor home from the Kansas City area and were here for 5 days. We would definitely return. We stayed at this park for one week in lot number 37 which is a lake-front full-hookup lot. All spots had vertical cement fixtures which contained older electrical hookup panels and water spigots, with sewer hookups mounted in the ground nearby. About 2/3 of the spots were vacant and the remainder were filled with seasonal trailers that appeared to be in storage and rarely used. We only saw 3 other active campers during our stay so it was very private. The best part was the beautiful natural setting. Every spot had lots of mature shade trees with Spanish moss hanging from the branches. Wildlife was visible everywhere including cranes, herons, eagles, hawks, squirrels, turkeys, frogs, and many other critters. Several families of heron visited our site each day often walking right up to us and waiting around for a handout, and making a pleasant sound in the morning to wake us up gently. We loved being in a remote wilderness location but only 10 minutes away from main stores and 25 minutes away from major attractions. We would have given this park a 10 but there was a slight noise problem caused by the airboat tours which are launched daily from the small parking lot which doubles as a tiny lake marina. The boat tours are popular on the weekends so you hear the boats leaving every 30 minutes from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and then by appointment from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. The boats are pretty loud but further away, so they sound about the same as a lawn tractor cutting the grass next door. The noise is still audible with the windows closed and the AC on but it wasn't too bad and we got used to it after the first day. Thankfully the boat tours were less popular during the week so we did have some quiet peaceful time as well. The laundry room is older but clean and functional with each load costing $1.00 and they keep it locked when the office is closed so you have to finish laundry by 5:30 pm each day. The restroom building looked newer and well lit but we never used it. We enjoyed this park enough that we will return again some day. The boat noise is a drawback but it still beats the noise of crowded parks and lots of kids and traffic at all hours of the night which is a problem at many other parks in this area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Tropical Palms is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Its big but doesn't feel that way. Lots of trees and the pads are level and concrete. The pool is 85 degrees year round and large. They have a kiddy pool, also. Cafe on site with good food and reasonable prices. They have putt-putt golf, horseshoe tournaments, and other activities. About 7 miles to Magic Kingdom. We really liked this place and would stay here again on our way through Florida. About the only negative I can say is the internet is awful. Slow and constantly going down. This campground was recommended by a friend and highly rated by the Trailer Life directory. Both over rated it. The office staff were wonderful: helpful and pleasant. The park looks great, but it ends there. The roads are narrow and with unmanageable turns for anything but the smallest RV. The campground put large motorhomes towing long trailers on sites too small for them. It was crowded to the point of being claustrophobic. It is over priced for what it is. The WiFi didn't work. Even after an "upgrade" it was useless. The cable TV was poor. It is located close to attractions, but the negatives far outweighed the closeness. We will not be back !! The staff here was over-the-top helpful. There were great activities for our grandchildren. Wonderful pool area with food & drink available. Very clean everywhere. Wonderful landscaping done to the max. I would love to see a hot tub like their sister resort Sun n Fun in Sarasota has. This is a great campground if you are looking to be close to Disney World. It is very clean and well maintained. The pool area is nice and they have a small restaurant/grill for lunch. The campsite was excellent. The Staff was friendly. The resort is located right behind Old Town with lots of restaurants and bars and carnival type rides. What a nice park. We stayed Memorial week and it was great. The only problem we had was the cable TV never worked right. But we didn't care as we got more channels on the antenna, and were not here to just watch TV. We enjoyed our neighbors and the staff was always friendly. We ended up finding this campground last minute on our Disney vacation and it made the whole trip. The sites are spacious. Nice to cook and eat outside at picnic tables. The drive to Disney was extremely convenient. Felt very secure at night. Located close to every type of restaurant and shops. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. We spent two days here as a stop over before the Daytona 500. It is a very pretty park and very well maintained. All of the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. There were lots of activities going on for everyone each day. The roads area a little tight for big rigs but it is possible just have to go real slow and plan ahead. The gentleman that took us to our site definitely knew what he was doing, as it was a tight squeeze but we made it unscathed. We enjoy the Kissimmee area and since everyone was so helpful and friendly we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well kept nice park. Many ants and bugs, made it tough to enjoy being outside. My premium site, while level, was quite small but seemed to be the exception to the rule. Cable was fuzzy with minimal channels and Wi-Fi was on the slow side. Sewer was a good 40' from the coach and uphill a bit. Nice location and easy to get to with decent restaurants in the area. Nice park convenient to attractions. Paved roads and security gate. Water pressure was good, but tasted a bit strange, kind of brackish but it may have been just me. Ended up using bottled water. Standard sites are grass and sand. I would suggest getting one of the concrete sites although they have far less shade. Escort to site, dumpster for your trash, Wi-Fi was excellent. We had a pull through blacktop site with 50 amps, water, and table on the small tropical water way. Hookups were in the correct place. Site had cable TV with around 25 channels (one channel was XM music) and we used our Sat. dish with no problems as well. Site was very close to level. Site had lots of nice green grass on each side of motorhome. Lots of ducks were close by in water way and on sites. All the roads and sites in zone we were in had new blacktop sealer. Park also has sites that are cement and others gravel or dirt. On the far east side of park you have woods and lots of trees with deer that come out in day time hours. I see complaints over the free Wi-Fi. I could pick up eight antennas and all had full bars on my meter. The speed test I run was 2.90 Mbps down and .47 Mbps up. It worked very fast and services was from Tengo but you do have only so much bandwidth before they slow you down. Park was close to empty at our stay on week days. Verizon cell and 3G air card had all bars here. Check in was less than two mins and everything was ready. Nice dog park for Fido to run around in and found two wash pits with hot and cold water as well. Do not understand the galvanized walls and cedar board in bathrooms as well but it is not bad. Our price was a special deal good to Sep. 31. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park overall. The grounds were clean and the sites were good size. The pool was very nice, but very crowded. The kids young or old had no respect for the rules. In the pool and in the park. No one seemed to care. The bathrooms were nice except the stalls and shower walls made me feel like I was in a backyard outhouse. Galvanized walls with cederboard trim and screws showing. They have a gated entrance but the in side was always open and the exit was closed. We would not stay here again only because of the lack of supervision and control of the kids. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park close to Disney and other attractions. We stayed in the 30-amp area and found the sites to be spacious. Site was just dirt/sand and not level. Park had lots of trees and decent access roads and was good for walking and biking, close to a small amusement park and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Generally decent location for access to all of Orlando attractions. Staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of amenities and activities. Pool was nice but got crowded at times. Depending on the section you are in, it can be a swing from nice to, well, let's not say. They are reasonably priced. Our first site had only 30 amp service. You would have expected them to notice the 44 foot rig we came in and it's three air conditioners, but they didn't. They did, however, move us promptly and easily when asked. The new spot was closer to the park models, which are actually pretty nice looking on the outside if you don't think about what they are. Water hookups were unusual, coming straight out of the ground. The pool was packed on a holiday weekend. No surprise there. We ate in their cafe and were pretty happy with the standard burgers, fries and beer. We were here a couple years ago, came back, and would do it again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here two weeks, and the management is so rude. We stayed in the 200 section where the wi-fi barley worked. When we called to ask the manager to reset the modem he stated, It's a free service" as if since it's free I should not expect it to work. Well, I NEED the wi-fi to work as it is my job to work on the internet. The sites were littered with cigarette butts and bottle caps and just not very clean. The pool area at night had non resort resident teenagers there using the pool area because any one off the street can just use it and it's open late. Also the teens seemed to not care about who heard their conversation about "getting the hook up on some coke." Then they left and came back. I for one find this VERY alarming since I have very nice things in my RV and left it unattended for hours while we went to Disney. The ONLY thing this resort has going for it is how close it is to Disney. A word of warning to people who stay here: watch your stuff and keep an eye out for teens who do not belong there late at night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times and at all times with a rally. This time was with a motor home rally (FMCA Chapter). The campground is a great place to stay and is close to everything: supermarkets, a Camping World, Disney, etc. However, our site was okay but very narrow and close to neighbors. We felt that it was a little pricey but would stay here again. Seems that this park is being taken over by "park models" which are "vacation homes. This is the first time we have been here since taken over by Encore. Hate to see parks taken over by big conglomerates. It will be the down fall of many resorts. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The resort is split into several camping areas, the “Premium” sites are close to the office and pool, are pull-through, with concrete pads, cable TV (not very good) and 50-amp service. The “Non-Premium” sites are grass with 30-amp service and are located toward the back of the resort. Free Wi-Fi is available sporadically throughout the park. All sites where fairly level and in good condition. Sites are narrow in my opinion and not very deep; access streets are a little narrow as well. If you have a large rig with a tow vehicle you may have a hard time getting it all on the site (neighbors stuff spills over just about everywhere). If you’re looking for a resort close to the Orlando attractions with a lot of activities and party atmosphere you’ll probably enjoy your stay. The pool area plays music (loudly) most of the day and into the early evening. If your looking for a quiet, restful stay this probably isn’t the place for you or at least not in the premium sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were vigilant in finding out for ourselves if this park was worth the stay. Our stay was very nice. The grounds were kept nice, bathrooms clean and the pool well managed although needing a couple of small details to be perfect. One of the great things we noticed about this park was the range of camping diversity. Selection of camp sites ranged from grassy primitive sites all the way up to paved pull-through. Once on the grounds you would never know that one of Florida's busiest highways and so many restaurants were just a few hundred feet away. All in all it was a great experience. We camped in 45 foot motor home in Site #430. This is a very large park with easy access off I-4 and 192. Our site was in the very back part of the park. This location was quiet with little internal traffic. Vast majority of sites are paved with all interior roads paved. New owners since February. Many improvements and cleanup has been done since. We found all staff to be very friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site and helped to park. Clubhouse, pool area, and restaurant were neat and clean. We parked with 17 other coaches for our club rally. Catering at the clubhouse was great. Free Wi-Fi was available. It had spotty performance, but was adequate to check email. We were at Camp World and asked if they could recommend where to stay. They suggested Tropical Palms about a 1 1/2 mile up on US 192. It was a nice surprise! We were in site 409 which had electric and water but no dumping. Before I forget, it was 46 because we were AAA members and Floridian residents. This particular campground is very family oriented and very diversified in the age groups. The trees are a bit low which can make it challenging for the big rigs but it is level with a picnic table. Staff were friendly and we were led to our site and offered assistance in backing in and setting up. Being Thousand Trails members we were offered a reciprocal price and placed in the back section which compared to the front sites appeared to be out in the country. Being dog owners we did find that the back section was very pet friendly and the dog walk was easily accessible. The resort is within walking distance to Kissimmee and Old Towne which has an amusement park and on Friday and Saturday nights have Hot Rod Cars shows. This is a nice park near attractions. The sites are a bit small so if you have a larger rig I recommend that you stay in the back area. All roads are paved and a bit narrow. There is a small diner in the campground that has the usual lunch foods. Pool area is very nice. There was no security that I could see at the front gate in January but could be due to off season time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is very well located,only half a mile from US 192 with restaurants and stores close at hand. It gave easy access to Disney World. Entertainment was around the pool but we did not participate in it. We had a grassy site. Neighbors were fairly close but we backed up to a park-like place. We have stayed at Tropical Palms for several years, often several times a year. This is not the same park we were used to. New ownership means new changes-that doesn't mean good changes. Days of boil water advisories, weekend "entertainment" at the swimming pool that would deafen, annoy, or cause people looking for a relaxing time to leave, and a staff that, while friendly, also gives the impression that they really couldn't care less about the ongoing problems has brought change: all bad. This is a shame- we really liked it there- now we won't return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park very close to Disney but it was virtually empty. Lower rates might fix this problem. We were without water for about 24 hours and communication about the problem wasn't very good. They did refund that day's rate. We had to leave early due to my husband's health and they gave us a refund. Most campgrounds wouldn't and we certainly appreciated it. The sites are a little tight but doable with a big rig. Fun place for kids. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I am unsure of the nightly rate because they kept changing it on us. For many years we have camped at this location and loved this park. This past year they have sold the campground and it is no longer the same. We were very disappointed in the staff's attitude to accommodate guests. They mishandled our reservation, the pool area was messy and had a severe biting bug problem, the park was messy, the front office was always busy with complaining guests, and the cabins were run down and dirty. When inquiring at the front desk about the accommodations they were unwilling to address any of the issues. Many people were leaving and complaining about the treatment and accommodations they received. Our family will no longer stay at this park because new management means no more customer service and the family, friendly atmosphere has vanished. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great place to go. We had a good time and will return again. Our site was fair. Poorly graded, and we flooded our "stoop" the first night. Stayed wet all week. The park was clean, well maintained and extremely close to Disney. 50 amp sites are paved and level. Laundry clean and large. Pool with very comfortable water. Bathrooms recently remodeled. Only issues we had was that the 50 amp sites are very close together (our neighbors slide out encroached on our site). Our other neighbor's kids were quite loud. The 30 amp sites looked larger but not paved. Also a little pricey but we stayed during Spring Break 2008 and Ft Wilderness was full and this is the closest campground outside Disney. All in all, it is not Fort Wilderness (what is!) but is a nice second choice. If this campground were anywhere else, it would be a regular stop on our travels. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This used to be a first rate park before Encore bought it a few years ago. We used to stay here every year 5 years running. Had not stayed since 2004. Came back this year to find the park models taking over. This is really Encore's business - selling park models and you get that feeling. We stayed a few days and moved to the KOA nearby. Several weeks ago I made reservations for 2 sites for a Friday and Saturday nights. I specifically ask for 2 sites side by side within a range of 6 sites. I was advised that those sites were available. I was ask to pay $280.24(full payment) to secure the reservations. When we arrived they wanted to put us in 2 sites that were nowhere near each other. A young man pompously advised us that we were just making a reservation for a site, not specific sites. He explained that they take reservations like a hotel and you aren't told what room you will have. I ask why I wasn't told about that part of their policy when I made the reservation. He was so condescending that he didn't represent Tropical Palms well at all. Finally, they did find us 2 sites in the original area that I had requested, but it would be $10.00 more per night per site. That's $80.00 plus 13% tax and a resort fee of $3.00 plus tax for a back in, 30 amp, dirty site. When we arrived at the sites there were beer and soda cans all over the site. Additionally, there were cigarette butts and paper all over the site. I'm disappointed in the way Tropical Palms has chosen to conduct their business and treat customers. We have camped there many times over the years but I don't think we will be returning. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were promised a certain site, but when we checked in, the site was already given away. But staff was very pleasant and assisted us in finding a site suitable. No fire rings, you have to bring your own fire pit. Cable TV was not all the great, had to change sites due to no cable TV at the site. Lots were spacious and somewhat shaded. I guess you could describe this place as "take-it-or-leave-it". Staff didn't seem particularly interested in our business. The park has resort amenities, but the actual sites were not well maintained; at least not well enough to justify the price. Cable TV was a joke; our antenna brought in more stations, and clearer stations than the park's alleged cable. Pool (and kiddie pool) was clean and well-maintained, but then kids took it over most of the time so that adults were sidelined; and at night teens were engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior in the pool, so that killed it for us. The park is close to Disney World and does has full hook-ups (not all sites). Noticed that there were a variety of hokum activities for the snowbirds; lots of out of control children running wild (bicycles mostly) throughout the property, crossing campsites (no one teaches RV park etiquette apparently), riding over grass; and plenty of idiot adults parking vehicles on the grass between sites (privileged folks apparently). I guess we'd return if we had to, but it wouldn't be my first choice, still it was better than some parks promoting themselves as resorts. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

The park is in a good location and has a nice pool and snack bar. The cable is very limited (as in only a few channels). The wifi is only available at the pool and office from an outside vendor for an additional fee. The bathrooms are really dated (think old campground not resort). The laundry room is big and clean but the dryers were quarter eaters that took forever to dry a load. This is a large park yet only offers one real swimming pool and one laundry. I saw online that this resort had some bad reviews, but we tried it anyway. We had a wonderful time. It seems that they were without a general manager for a while so things went downhill, but I can tell you that they are looking up. The bathrooms behind the office are remodeled, and they were remodeling the ones in the pool are too, new fencing around the pool, nice landscaping. Everything was beautiful and clean. No over crowding, no hassles, just fun, friendly and very helpful staff. Our family loved it and we will be back again soon! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Normally stay in KOA's but gave this a shot after viewing on Google Earth and reading reviews. We were not disappointed. Stayed in a super site near the pool and had a wonderful time. The pool was nice, we saw a bunch of small (3') alligator's in the pond and saw about 10 deer one night in the area by the pond. If you don't have an RV or have friends that don't, the cottages look great and everyone we met liked them. You can walk to Old Town and everything else is close by. But once you are inside the campground, you would never know there was a busy world just outside the entrance. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If you're going to Orlando or the amusement parks with kids, this is the place to stay. There's an amusement area within walking distance and Disney and Universal are about a 20 minute drive. This park has a number of positives and negatives. On the plus side, the park is close to Disney. There is a Camping World nearby, as well as a Target and a Walmart. The pool is large and there are several activities available to guests. On the negative side, the rest rooms were horrible. They were never clean during our week long stay. One stall in the ladies room was roped off with a caution tape the whole time we were there and another did not have a lock on the door. This only left one working stall complete with a lock on the door. The showers were filthy. The bathroom did not have a trash can in it and the outlets were cracked and would not let you plug in a blow dryer. The campground signage is very poor and is it easy to get lost. The campground map we were given was not correct. For example, one laundry area is not even shown on the map. Several washers and dryers were torn up and were not marked which left the user guessing which ones worked and which ones didn't. Site size in the unpaved sites varies greatly. This park has enormous potential as an destination spot for visitors to the Orlando area but it desperately needs cleaning and updating. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

The price has gone up recently, but since we had paid in full with our reservation, no mention was made of the increase. This place reminds me of a flat ABC (Branson); that is, very popular (crowded), many activities for everyone, well located, and not an abundance of room. The trick to getting a good spot has always been, show up early, but starting this Sunday (Easter) sites will be assigned when reservations are made. This will take some work at this resort, as there are many, many "super sites" into which we could not fit with our 45' rig with 4 slides. Our impression of the place was that they are going to have their hands full if they don't build another pool. They have turned over about one third of the park to "park models" (at $50,000-$70,000 each), but since very few are occupied now, and the pool was so crowded as to not being able to see any concrete or water when we walked by, I'd say this facility will need some work in the future (not to mention other common facilities). It's clean, neat, and very convenient. A great place to stay if Fort Wilderness is not in your plans or budget. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have been camping at Tropical Palms for over 12 years and we are even an honored guest. We made reservations for my sister's wedding week 6 months in advance. We only book the supersites because over the years we have had problems in other areas. Lake side is very buggy; another area floods if it rains etc. So we booked way ahead of time. When we arrived they had given our supersite to someone else and had overbooked the campground by 8 sites! We were put in the back near nothing and were very disappointed. Plus it took 3 hours to check us in. so I had to have someone come and get my Mom so the other of the bride didn't miss her daughter's bridal shower. As it is, I missed my sister's shower after driving 1100 miles! It used to be privately owned and now Encore has taken over and not doing the best job. The new manager is nice, and has been brought in to straightened it out so we will see. I would check your reservation before arriving! I suggest a supersite! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park was well suited as a base for going to Disney/Universal, but is turning into a high priced trailer park with pink and teal colored mobile homes being sold as vacation homes. This draws folks who have no empathy with RV'ers. I had problems with folks parking their SUV's in the road (RV's couldn't get by) and kids being allowed to run wild on electric scooters. We stayed here when we went to Disney World. Upon arriving I was really aggravated. We booked a premium site but they did not give us a site number upon booking. So when we got there, there we no more premium sites available. I couldn't understand how we could not get one if that's what we booked 8 months in advance. This park was GREAT! Super friendly staff. We rented a Super Site, which was great. We could not unroll our awning all the way because of trees, but this wasn't a big problem. The facilities were super clean. The roads were paved, and manuverable. Many big rigs there. Watch out for the alligators in the pond. We saw 2 of them. This campground is very close to Disney, and it's a perfect location for attractions. My only real problem was the Wi-Fi. You can not get Wi-Fi unless your sitting at the pool: and even then it's slow, and spotty. You also pay for the Wi-Fi. Aside from that, I highly recommend this place. Stayed here for 1 month, they are replacing some of the undesirable rv sites with cottages. The super sites are fantastic, but the amenities need some work. We were told we could have campfires when we registered, what we were not told was we would have to bring our own firepit, that was kind of disappointing. We booked a site several months ago and asked if wifi was available at that sites price range (you choose your own site when you get there). We were told we would have wifi but found you had to sit by the pool or be in one of a handful of pull through sites to get it - you then have to pay $15 a week to access it. $15 a week shouldn't be a problem except this "resort" (and all Encore Resorts) add an extra $3 per night to your bill classed as a Resort Amenity Fee which is supposed to cover the cost of all amenities in the resort - whether you want them or not. We decided not to stay for our full 19 days and managed to get a booking over Christmas and New Year at the Sherwood Forest Resort (another Encore park) for $330 less than Tropical Palms. We still have that $3/night fee and still have to pay for wifi, but at least that is at our site and we have still saved hundreds of $$. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had planned for months to come to Orlando to enjoy Epcot Center before moving on to Key West. The service here is excellent, very concerned that they do everything possible to make you comfortable. The Guest Guide takes you in a golf cart to any one of the available sites so that you can choose the one you like best, he then sees that you get situated and hooked-up. I had to leave one day to go to the Cummins Service Shop in Orlando and one tree leaning out over the drive nearly tore off the awning of my rig. Thankfully, I was stopped in time to make an adjustment to my approach and cleared the tree. One of the guests nearby said that this tree had been a problem to several other big rigs in the past. I mentioned this problem I had to the Guest Guide and he said that he did not like that same tree and another limb that should also be removed. Great attitude toward something that really needs attention. The laundry facility is spotless. We would return again!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The good things about this site are that it's close to Disney and Universal. The full hookup 'super' sites are large but the patio furniture is well past it's best - we couldn't use it as it was split, dirty and just not very nice at all. Water/power and sewage work as expected. The site is busy and therefore noisy - we complained about people having outside TVs on at 11:30pm and security did sort out the problem. Construction is going on to add more chalets to the site which is a bit of an eyesore and everything was a bit 'tired' - for the price I would have expected better. Didn't try out the pool as it was hard to get near it so obviously some people like it. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi is a joke so make sure you have your own alternatives. Overall it was useful being close to Disney but it's overpriced for the quality of what they offer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed a week at this park in May, 2006. I was attending a conference at a nearby conference center. It was so easy to get to my meetings and my husband had plenty to occupy himself while I was away. The park was centrally located to so many of the recreation and retail areas. We were just down the road from Disney, Old Town and Arabian Nights Dinner Theater. There was a Camping World store and a WalMart close by. I loved our space. I had called ahead and made a reservation for a "Super Site" at the back of the park. When we got there, they drove us around in a golf cart and let us pick out the available sites. At first I was a little disappointed because I was hoping to get a site right on the edge of a small pond they have but we were able to get a nice wide, level, shady site the 3rd row back. Because there were no other campers between us and the first row, it really seemed like we were on the 2nd row. (I really thought getting this site was good for coming in at 6pm on a Saturday night). Even though we were not on the lake there was a little canal just on the other side of the drive from us. Every morning I got up and could look out the window while I cooked breakfast and see cranes, ducks, and ibis in the canal. It was just a short walk to the little pond where we could see fish and two small alligators. The campground was quiet and peaceful. The staff were great. They helped my husband get tickets for SeaWorld and the dinner theater. They printed off directions to get to several places we wanted to go. They were very helpful and when we decided to extend our time, we had no problem and were able to keep our same site. I hope to go there again some day. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A very nice park, a perfect location and an improving wifi service. It has all of the amenities for all levels of camping. Tent, popups, travel trailers all the way to luxury coaches. You are not assigned a site. It is first come first served. Arrive early if you want a decent site. In the 9 days we stayed there we saw a constant stream of people moving from site to site. They are not honoring Good Sam cards any longer even though they are listed in the 2006 TL directory as a Good Sam park. Seems they are now an Encore park. Sites are not cleaned after people check out. Our site was full of cigrette butts. The pool and the pool deck could use a good cleaning. Not enough washers and dryers in the laundry. Stay away from the grass area in the front of the park as a new construction project is starting across the street. Noise and dirt are a big problem. The "for a fee" internet access is only available in the office or around the pool. Posted rules are not enforced, numerous people with glass containers around the pool. Class RV park. Well run and clean. It is not manicured but few should have a problem with the way it is kept. It is next to "New Town" where there are shops and weekend gatherings of classic cars or Corvettes if you are there during the winter. Call to see what is going on if you are interested. Disney World, Epcot, Sea World and many other parks are within easy driving distance. Traffic can be difficult at times anywhere in the Orlando area, especially during the winter, but this is normal in Florida anywhere you go which isn't in the sticks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We chose this campground because of its proximity to Walt Disney World and because we could not get into Fort Wilderness. The park was fairly well kept with nice vegetation and the pond was fun to look at but yielded not fish. The interior roads are very narrow and difficult to navigate, the laundry facilities are dirty and many machines are broken. But our biggest complaint was the lack of a WiFi signal at our campsite. When we head home we will stop in Orlando but will not stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Stayed here for a weekend in November '05. Park was full for a Giant Recreation World Rally that was going on. Was able to walk through and look at some new rigs. Campground is within walking distance to Old Town, which is a Kissimmee Attraction, and they have a Classic car show every Sat night there. Well over one hundred cars to look at. Would definitely go back to campground. Pet friendly We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here based on the reviews on this web site. We were not disapointed at all. We were able to pick our super site amoung several (later in the week the place was filling up fast). We were close to the pool and were able to take advantage of their 24 hour pool. Everything said about this place is true: the over all facilities, the spacing, layout, landscaping, availability of a variety of sites plus easy access to all the central Florida has to offer. The only reason I don't give this facility a 10 was the game room was kind of lame (my kids words) and a number of the machine were not working. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is the nicest campground we have stayed in. We were there in June 2004. The landscaping is beautiful. Great location near restaurants and shopping. Old town looks really nice next door, we didn't have time to go there, but it looked nice. Bathrooms were usually clean. My daughter and I encountered one toilet that had human waste smeared on front and all over seat, but it was cleaned up quickly. The showers were clean. The game room was somewhat lame. Some of the games didn't work and not much was in there but that wasn't a big deal to us. The swimming pool is beautiful, but be warned, the water has a very salty taste (not sure why). This was very off putting to my two kids. My son didn't really want to swim because of the taste. VERY NICE PLACE to stay and we will stay again on next Florida trip. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground with a pool open 24 hours, the bathrooms were clean and adequate, but I've seen nicer and there were occasional plugged toilets. We used this park to visit Universal Studios which was a 10 or 15 minute drive. Disney is real close. We checked out Old Town and weren't real impressed. But for relaxing around the camper after spending the day at the theme park this worked out real well for the three families that traveled together. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. Plenty to do after a day at the big parks. Old Town is nextdoor with lots to do. Our standard site was level & under some palms with lots of privacy. Clean, quiet polite campers & staff. We looked at the KOA in Kissimmee, comstruction was going on & around that property & roads. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great park that you would never know was so close to Hwy 192. Close to all the attractions. Would definitely stay again. The only drawback was the restrooms and dumpsters which are a little far from some of the sites. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground. Loved the pool being open 24 hours. The pool is very large for a
campground and they have a nice kiddie pool. Nice poolside cafe. The only thing that would have been better is if it had a shuttle to Disney. They have some very cute cabins to rent and a clubhouse too. Very helpful staff. Will definitely stay there again. The super sites are worth every extra penny with big concrete pads and right next to the pool. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground. Excellant location to central Florida attractions. Sites are a little close but slide outs are no issue and sites are level. Old Town is advertised as within walking distance but was about 1/2 mile from my site. The cabins are very nice inside but outside are getting a little frayed around the bottom. One of the best campgrounds I have camped in. People are very hospitable and check in is very organized and they take you to the sites and let you pick it out. I would most definitely go back and would choose a site on the back side near the pond. Nice little camp store with a little bit of everything. Computer hook ups in the office. Nice campground! We camped here in a Motorhome.

For location, you can't ask for better! Very nice campground, very well kept grounds. The only drawback was that we saw was some very muddy sites that were on bare ground. It rained buckets while we were there. However, the supersites were all paved, I would only stay in one of those sites. There were two rows of new sites in the 700 range behind the wonderful little cabins, perfect for RVers who want quiet, but still very close to the pool. While there are no instant hookup phones, there was a great setup in the office for modem use. Next year, we'll stay there again and rent one of the spotless cottages for my mom! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one great campground. It is beautiful and tropical. We drove from Vermont to here and after setting up, jumped into the pool around 8PM. It was dark and the steam came off the pool as our bodies melted. We spent 3 hours or so in the pool and might have slept in if we weren't afraid of drowning. The kids talk as much about this campground as they do about the 3 days at Universal. Try to get a stabbed site next to the pool. If you are unable to, check when you arrive and see if there is any availablity then. Also the people there are friendly. Had lots of great chats with other campers. When we were picking out our site the guy driving us in a golf cart took an extra long time because my 7 YO was enjoying the ride so much. This is in our top 2 campgrounds of all time. We camped here in a camper.

This is one of the top RV parks in Fl. The staff is great and very friendly. The park has a lot of trees, small stream, and small pond to fish in if you wish. Large pool, kids pool, large sand play pen for the kids, and pool side cafe are nice. Large number of guest suites looks like you are some place in the islands, very nice. The price is the same for two people or 50 people per site. Sites are not close together and you have room on each side. Close to Walt Disney World and other atttaction in Orlando. Old town is next door. Very low noise from roads. You can set up your site over the home web page. We camped here in a camper.

This is a great place to stay while visiting the area attractions. It is right across the street from Old Town. The staff are very friendly. This is another place that Encore took over but it hasn't changed the charm of the place. You can even buy breakfast and eat it sitting by the pool. We often stay here with friends and just hang out and relax. We camped here in a camper.

A nice park in the heart of the tourist attractions. Behind Oldtown shopping and amusement center. No shuttle to Disney keeps this from being a 10. We camped here in a camper.
