Sites are defined and leveled gravel. Several are side by side. There are several pull thrus and several are separated by trees. Sites are generally shady. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stopped off here on a return trip from Florida. This park is not very large. Still, some of the sites are right on the Kolomoki Lake. There are a few very large pull-thru sites although some of the back-ins are not large enough for a big RV. The bath house was typical of a GA State Park, clean and recently renovated. A few of the water front sites are obviously set up to be double sites, although they are not denoted as such. Our truck was only about 10 feet from the neighbor’s tent. There are also sites up off the lake in a more shaded area. There are gray water dump locations between every few sites and a dump station at the entrance. Although not clearly marked, be sure and stop off at the Park Office before proceeding down to get a site. There is no Registration Office at the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a wonderful time on our visit. The park was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that we have was with trail maintenance. We like to hike, but the trails need some work. I still would highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
