Generally a self service campground. Pick out a spot, fill out registration form on envelope, put payment in and drop through slot in door. Did not see anyone the weekend we were there. Nice playground, and pretty trout stream. Had a good wi-fi signal at spot 3. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A fun place to go for the weekend. A mountain setting right next to the river! The campground was clean and well kept and the owner very nice. Not a place for a large group but fine for one or two motorhomes traveling together. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The campground was the bare essentials. We never met with the management. I don't think the office was open the whole time we were there. Several people live at the site in their tents and other permanent homes. This is not the best place to go family camping. However, it is conveniently located near some recreational parks. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Park was clean and the people were friendly. Enjoyable stay. One concern is the management is seldom on site and the park is open to anyone driving through 24 hours a day thus a security concern. Some sites require some creative backing to miss low places on the site. Also a few long term campers with clutter. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice people. Convenient location to the highway. Even had a trout fishing stream. They have a
Bluegrass Festival in May. I will go back! We camped here in a camper.
