- Nice campground. The Shoshone Falls and Snake river gorge are not to far away and are a must to see.

- DCottrell Park is less than a mile from BP station, Tractor Supply, Dollar General and Dairy Queen. Decent restaurants in town are Dimitris and La Troje.4 months ago Findley State Park
- Randy & Tina If you like bike riding, the Cayahoga Valley National Park is about 45 minutes away and is a wonderful trail along an old canal. One of our favorites. We rented e-bikes in the town of Peninsula. Loved the Winking Lizard restaurant there. We wanted to go back a second day and ride the trail one-way south and take the train back, but we got rained out. Guess we'll schedule another visit. Cleveland is a day-trip and we enjoyed their botanical gardens, a Guardians baseball game, and even lucked into a chamber music concert at the Music Institute.1 year ago Findley State Park
