STAY AWAY !!! This place is a dump with many issues. I plugged my 50 amp surge protector into the electric box and got a reading of 130V on one leg and 114V on the other leg. Surge protector would kick out often. There was trash everywhere. The fellow next door was living in a box truck that looked like it hadn't been moved in 10 years. Every morning he would sit in his bucket seat, which was positioned next to the water faucet, and wash up and do his dishes. We never saw the manager only talked to her on the phone. There was never anybody in the office. Did I say? ...STAY AWAY We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is duck season so you will hear some shooting in the morning hours. At night when 9:00PM comes you will hear the alert siren for the city, go off. This is because a child curfew is in effect and it is a reminder to parents to check and see where your kids are at. My stay was nice, then again I am working in the area (St. Louis) and was therefore not here to visit the sites. But for working in the area it was just what I needed. The interstate into St. Louis is very busy and adds about 20 minutes to the morning drive. But if here for sightseeing this should not be a problem for most people. With winter coming up, they allowed you to "underpin" your travel trailer to help keep pipes from freezing. All in all, I would stay here again if work was closer. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

While this RV park was in a good location, just east of St. Louis and down the street from Mounds State Park, it was not well maintained. Trash was scattered around the park, including used diapers. The park was very small and had no pull-throughs. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have been staying here for about a month, so far. The restrooms are clean and have individual lockable shower areas. The laundry room is large and contains two washers and two dryers, as well as vending machines. We were initially concerned about the safety of the area, but have had no problems at all. We are paying 11.00 a night based on a monthly rate of 330 with no separate charge for electric. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A good place to park when visiting in the eastern suburbs of St. Louis. Mostly permanent residents living in RVs on a monthly basis. Spaces are close together and just gravel in between. Nothing fancy but it is a friendly and safe park. The people are really nice and the park is well lighted and feels safe. The weekly/monthly rate is a much better deal and they give a discount to Escapees members. The bathhouse is new and very clean and nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.
