This is the park for relaxation. Great staff and camp host! Plenty of shade, clean area, clean restrooms and showers. It's a short walk to an amazing lake view. We will return! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Super clean and very quiet. Stayed here a week while we visited Chicago. Best option even though we had to commute every day. It was a lovely place to come home to each evening. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to attend a convocation in Gary, IN. We have four children and there wasn't much for them to do. The playground was outdated, the one at the conference center was better. The lake was beautiful, but the cost of renting a pontoon ($100/hr with $300 deposit) was steep for us. Nice quiet campground with plenty of space between sites. Shade was wonderful and had a large field open for play. Campers were friendly and children enjoyed riding bikes around the small loop. Campground was small and cozy. The bath house was under construction. Would definitely camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
