They are changing this campground around. They are in process of building a new store, business center. Nice and friendly people. Sites are close, they are cleaning the park up, installing new sewer system. Seems like lots of changing for the better. I would come back. Yes, there are seasonal campers, but all were nice that we ran into. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stopped here unannounced on our way to Goshen. Drove down a long narrow drive to pull in, but was stopped by a gate. No body responded to the call box, but was able to reach the manager via phone as she was away for a while. We did get in and got a pull through site. This is a seasonal CG. MANY permanent trailers here because of the lake. Big play ground for the kids. OK for an overnight but I wouldn't want to stay longer. Bath house was old but clean. Great pizza place in Churubusco. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Pretty tough to drive a big rig in and out of, but not impossible. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. Most rigs are permanent or seasonal and not kept up. If that bothers you, you might want to skip this place. But there's not a lot of competition in the area. Laundry room not too clean, but functional. Playground for the kids. Suits our needs; we'll probably come back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We threw away $50 here because we were in the area and stopped by more than a week before our reservations. We canceled by phone the next day and in spite of the week notice they would not return our deposit. All spaces are very tight and you better stay on the road and pads. Upon driving through we saw several sites where rigs had sunk in the mud two feet off the pad. Makes parking even harder. You are greeted by a couple of junk rigs and when you drive around you see several others that belong in the same pile. I would not stay here on a bet. We went 3 miles down the road and stayed at another campground. WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. We camped here in a Motorhome.
