We threw away $50 here because we were in the area and stopped by more than a week before our reservations. We canceled by phone the next day and in spite of the week notice they would not return our deposit. All spaces are very tight and you better stay on the road and pads. Upon driving through we saw several sites where rigs had sunk in the mud two feet off the pad. Makes parking even harder. You are greeted by a couple of junk rigs and when you drive around you see several others that belong in the same pile. I would not stay here on a bet. We went 3 miles down the road and stayed at another campground. WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Yes, it is Grandpa's back yard. There are no amenities but it is clean, quiet, comfortable and only 9 miles from I-69. It is a very nice place to spend a few days while taking in the sights around Ft. Wayne. The staff was great. We will be staying here again next weekend. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Kind of like camping in Grandpa's yard.Owners on site and stop by daily to see if all ok. Weekend we stayed, they had movies under the stars on Friday night,Bingo and ice cream floats on Saturday.Mostly tents and pull behinds, but a few sites are motorhome capable.Grass sites slightly rolling.Small camp store - will deliver firewood and ice to site,if needed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
