Tips from campers about Leavenworth, KS
- Chike1 Explored Fort Leavenworth after going on their website to gain approval to access via Grant Ave. gate. Got to a KC Royals game, and spent a day in downtown KC, MO. Used free trolley to go to numerous places along the line (Union Station, City Market, the Library, Power & Light District, etc.). World War I memorial & museum are well worth getting to.2 months ago Suncatcher Lake Campground
- Jerry_Richardsin_592 Longer motorhomes with leveling jacks behind the front wheels be careful going in and out. 30 amp only and no sewer.1 year ago Riverfront Park
- MikeandKaren There is coffee - Scooters about a 1/4 mile from campground. the town self guided mobile history trail is nice They do have showers and restroom if your rig doesn't have its own. 30 amp electric only site bring empty tanks - they do have a dump if needed (use as you come in and not as you leave as it is on the wrong side. water is also available but not at site.1 year ago Riverfront Park
