My wife and I have been working with a National RV Magazine. We have been asked to visit RV parks and campgrounds for an article to be out in January. This will be about the best and the worst parks in the nation. This Cash Point Landing will be at the top of our "worst list". This property is in terrible condition! It is no longer a RV park, but a full-timer heaven for old and less than attractive RV's. They allow large dogs to roam loose, including Pit Bulls: we were unable to get out of our vehicle in fear of being attacked until the maintenance man came to our rescue. He stated, "The owners allow the residents to let their dogs run around while they are at work." If you are a traveler and a pet owner: do not come here. The road leading to the park is very rough, approximately 1.8 miles of washed out and rutted road leads to this dump. Again: this will be at the top of our list for the worst parks in the nation. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sites are all on grass. Ours had a broken sewer connection, it was just a horizontal pipe in the ground with a piece broken out. On checking in we were told there was only one site available as the rest were filled with long term renters. 3/4 mile long entrance road, and all park roads are rough gravel and very dusty. Dogs and cats were allowed to run loose and were not picked up after. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We did not stay here. We pulled in to the park and I could not believe that the local government has not shut this place down. The roads have HUGE Pot holes, I was unable to maneuver around them because there were so many and damaged my left jack, and we got stuck. One of the permanent residents assisted me in getting out. He stated he had been there for the past 18 months, and the roads are always like this. He said it is for pipe liners only, not over nighters. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I am not sure where the person stayed that is free, we were charged $48.00 per night as was everyone else (unless you loose your shirt gambling). The train and traffic noise was very bad. The staff was nice, and the place was clean. No trees what so ever, which is ok. It is primarily a parking lot. My neighbor received a unwanted guest around 2:00am, a young girl knocked on his door and asked him if he wanted a date. Needless to say the mans wife did not appreciate that. Typical Casino area. We stayed two nights waiting for a site to open up at another park in Shreveport. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park for the casino. This is the only casino park that I know of in Shreveport. It is free with comps and has a nice laundry area. Ice is free and a great stopping point for crossing this area of the states. Stayed here 3 times so far. Will do it again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean place, but if you are not into the Casinos (as we are not) you may want to pass. The staff was nice but for the price I would stay else where, actually we tried to get reservation at the Tall Pines but they were full. Would stay here if we had to. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
