We had a great week here! The heavy rains evacuated river sites of the camp the day before we arrived and it caused the river to flow fast, but our site was high & dry near the pond. The 30 minute float on a tube turned into a 7 minute blast on the river, the kids loved it. The pond is loaded with tadpoles & frogs for the kids to have fun with. The nightly family activities were extensive & well run. My kids loved the water slide and especially the radar gun afternoon to clock your time. The store is well stocked and reasonably priced so running to the nearby Walmart/grocery store is not necessary. The snack bar has WIFI & reasonable prices. The owners were actively working around camp & take pride in their new venture. The only draw back is how the camp is separated by a dangerous road. I did not allow my kids to cross without us. Although there is a blinking light to alert drivers, the crossing is close to a hill which makes seeing approaching cars difficult. We actually had to run twice because of the cars. We have already made plans to return next year & can't wait to see what new improvements will be evident! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
After a bad experience at a camp ground close by, we chose this one. What a surprise! It is located on a river, and has many activities for kids and grown ups alike. It is always full in the summer, so we were very lucky to get a spot on such short notice. We recommend this campground to anyone with children. It has much to offer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was our first year here.. and we will be back again! Stay was over labor day weekend. This is a very nice family "resort" campground. We floated on the river.. lounged in the hot tub.. Kids went down the water slide. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
We arrived at about 1:30 PM and they required a $15 early check-in fee. I asked if they needed to make the bed and clean the room. The clerk said nothing. The bathrooms were dirty and the sites are very close together. There was no sewer connection available We camped here in a Motorhome.
I just read another review on this campground and thought it was very unfair...so I thought I would posy my own. I camp at this cg every July 4th and new owners took over in 2005. Since then they have made many changes to the cg. They have upgraded over 1/2 the sites to 50 amp service. Upgrade some of the bathrooms. Have added much needed landscaping and they have painted most of the buildings! The best thing they did for the campground was to bring a Family feeling back to the cg. I have met them 2 years in a row and they seem like super people. I know I always get the same site every year and last year they increased the size of My site! They lost over 50 sites just to make the remaining sites larger. My Kids love their theme weekends and we are always there July 4th. The waterslide, pools, mini golf, arcade, and movie house always keeps my 3 kids busy all day! My family would not think of going anywhere else. This year my son wants to go for their early june cub scout weekend and chances are we will. I would recomend this campground to any or all that want to go. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
My Friends and I arrived on JUNE 30th and stayed till JULY 4th. Upon arrival we noticed how poorly kept the campground was and we were not impressed at all. We found the campground through a brochure and called ahead and put it on a credit card. What a mistake! We did give them the benefit of the doubt and went to our sites. After we got set up we started looking around and found the bathrooms to be very dirty the showers had mold, the pool area was very dirty and unpainted, the hot tubs were very old and cracked and full of bugs and sand and also had scum ring around them on the inside at the water line. My wife did approach management with the brochure and asked were the park was in that. With no answer our griends started calling around to see if we could get a site elsewere but on a holiday weekend we had no luck so we made the best of it but we will never return and we dont suggest you do either! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground NEED to be closed. No other way to say it.. Water slide looks like its about to break.. Road is extremely uneven. Power lines and electrical boxes just on sticks.. Managers were extremely RUDE.. and so were most of the workers. Playground had a few parties that looked liked they were over 30 years old The only nice thing there was the movie theater.. GO anywhere else.!!!!!! Just not there... We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
More to do here than any other campground I have been to. Waterslide for the kids, several hot tubs, large movie theater, and many activities. Very friendly management and very well organized. Right over the NH border so it is easy for NH people to get to. I highly recommend this place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was not one of the better camping areas. The electric needs to be updated very badly, heard lots of complaints about how bad the electric was. The sites were pretty small with lots and lots of roots which made leveling a bit of a chore. As far as the restrooms, they were in need of cleaning most of the time that we spent there. Around the arcade/office area was just out of control, noise, unsupervised children running everywhere (this is where you pull into with your campers) fowl language. On the plus side, they did have a pool and big waterslide and mini golf. The activities for the kids seemed to be very limited. Overall we were disappointed with the camping adventure here and will not return to this campground again. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Registered without seeing the place except via the internet. Upon arrival found the spot for our pop-up too small. However the real issue was it was very noisy and had a "wild" atmosphere. The campers seemed to be there to party and hang out by the office wearing "inappropriate" (my wife's words) attire. My kids range in age between 9 and 15. The campground was not the kind of place I would want them to be able to roam in. Checked in at 1:00 and out at 1:30. Lost my $75 deposit! Partially spoiled by vacations at Lake George RV park I guess......... We camped here in a camper.

This is definitely a kid friendly park, most kids love Kings and Queens for the pools, ponds, mini-golf, and the water slide. Our rest room should have been torn down, others at the park are fine. Cable on Kings side only, electric service badly needs updating. New owners are friendly, lots of great activities, Beach Party weekends are a blast!! Lots of easy access sites, lots of back ins, Don't come here for the facilities, come here for the fun.

This is a family resort. The only down part is the wiring is poor. You can not use AC or even blow dry your hair without all dimming. No activities planned thru out the day, but special weekends like X-mas and Halloween are a big hit. A lot of seasonals here, but lots of space for weekends. A water slide is there and free. It's a nice place to visit- kids enjoy the special weekends- I wouldn't stay longer than that. We camped here in a camper.
This is a great campground for ATV's. I came with my family and friends. The seasonal people were great: they knew all the trails and shared their info with us. One gentleman helped a friend of ours with the use of his tools and his time. The owners were very friendly and even came by to see if we needed anything. We were also invited to a community fire. The sites were pretty good in size. We went late in the camping seasons so the pool was closed. We plan to go back next year. Our friends are considering purchasing a seasonal site. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
Quiet campground, mostly seasonals. New owners, who are working hard to make it an even better campground. Nice pool and recreation room. Playground for children. We are seasoning there this summer. The rate listed above, is not the rate we paid, but the rate listed on the web site. What could make it better would be more 3 ways hookups (currently only 2 of the seasonal sites have 3-way hookup); and some type of cable or satellite TV hookup. We camped here in a Motorhome.
"I've never posted a 1 review of any campground before, in our opinion it should be Zero" We agree with this person. Never have we seen a campground in such deplorable condition. After driving in, and seeing the condition the first few sites were in, we explored further, and after going to the pool, and the toilet areas, we bypassed the office, and headed down the road. Awful, awful, awful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great CG for those looking for a quiet, peaceful experience. This CG is an adult-only CG; children are not even allowed to visit for the day. Sites are very spacious and private. The only reasons why we're not giving this CG a 10 is because the "beach" on the pond is not a beach -- more of a grassy tidal area that one must wade into. In addition, the place has a lot of seasonals, who have all of the sites on and near the pond. Water pressure on the back side of the CG is low, so finding a site on the front side is advisable. That said, it was a great place for a very relaxing experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very quiet, friendly, adults-only campground. No children allowed. Of the 100
sites, about 70 are seasonals. The campground sits on about 100 acres, which allows for many hiking trails and abundant birds and butterflies. The bathrooms are clean, and the showers are free. The seasonals are allowed gardens, which makes the grounds very pretty. There is a heated swimming pool the owner just put in. Free firewood. If you're looking for excitement, this isn't the place; but if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful, inexpensive stay, then give them a try. We will definitely go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Will never go back. We stayed on the for the weekend of the 4th. So many things I do not know where to start. We camped here in a Tent.

A campground in transition! Very nice owners and staff! The place is being transformed into a resort. It was a dump but the new owners are really making a concerted effort to turn this place around. I see great things in their future. Overall the campground is a little rough, but the pools ( indoor and outdoor ) are very nice. They were still cleaning out the restaurant area when we were there so we didn't get to experience the food. The old seasonal and abandoned campers are being removed to make way for more improvements as well. We will be back to see the progress that is being made over time. Can't wait to see the finished product! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We Camped Memorial Day weekend 2009 with 4 other sites. The Campground was under a severe makeover. The new owners are trying to accomplish everything at once. The outdoor pool was closed, no gym, no arcade and other activities that is listed on website not available. We paid $48 per night for a Resort and had to clean our own sites upon arrival. Sites had not been raked since last year, old fire pits were demolished and left on site. Tree stumps and roots were left to trip over. Dilapidated seasonals left with debris to be a potential safety hazard. Visit in another year or two is my recommendation. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
VERY bad. The park is laid out poorly, making it hard to determine where your space actually is, and sewer hook-ups are haphazard in their placement. The laundry room smelled strongly of rot and mildew, and the smell was in the washers, and transferred this smell to my clothes. The office was very cluttered and un-business-like, and smelled of stale cigarettes and dog urine, and the 'store' had barely anything at all in it. The bathrooms by the pool were locked, and the showers were non-functional. The other bathhouse was laughable: absolutely filthy, and the bathroom stalls were so tiny I literally could not stand up straight (its a good thing I'm not claustrophobic). The indoor pool was closed for repair (broken pumps, AND the ceiling at one corner had fallen down). I'm relatively new to RV-ing, but this experience shocked me. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I've never posted a 1 review of any campground before, in our opinion it should be Zero. But, this one is Soooo Bad, in our opinion it _Natural_High_ needs to be _removed_ as a Coast to Coast Campground, it was not worth $8. We have stayed in much better campgrounds Free. We just left there Aug 1, 2007... We have been camping over 43 years, and this is the very worst. First their website had not been updated since the 90's, and it is filled with not just inaccuracies, but outright deceptive advertising... The last activities list was for May 1999. Inside Pool Restrooms/showers for men, women, and children have _No_ Doors. Walking down the corridor to enter, men or women and children, can look directly into both. You can see anyone in them, including those who are showering or changing clothes. (It is not advertised as a nudist camp) No Dressing area or shower curtains. Restrooms very dirty, and no paper in some stalls.... Amenities listed are NOT available. _No_Hot_Water_ in sinks or showers, they said, "we will have the plumber check it." But at the end of the week, still not hot water. Outside showers, where you shower before entering pool, have no lights, when you close the door, it is pitch black, AND they have NO Water... not even cold water. Hot Tub is Closed, and has not been open this year, maybe longer. Indoor Pool is NOT heated as posted, and so dirty we would not use it. Chapel is roped off, and not in use or available. No_Laundry Facilities which have evidently been closed for some time. Adult Lounge, nothing there but a few card tables. Upstairs what has been a dining area, carpet is so filthy it appears it has not been cleaned, not even vacuumed in a month or more. Restrooms upstairs in mens room, toilet clogged, and evidently has been for some time. You could smell the stink from it, in the dining area, without opening the door. Looks like it has been that way for more than a week. AND it was that way all week long, even after we complained the first day. They said, "We will have the plumber check it." We made reservations. When we arrived they could not find them. Had to give them all the information all over again. They entered our membership number incorrectly, even though copying it directly from our card. So still had trouble making a reservation. Found the error, and corrected it. It took them over an _HOUR_ to get our reservation completed. We had reservations for a Full Hookup with 30 amps... Three campers waiting to ask questions, got tired of waiting, and left. We then had to wait over half an hour for someone to show us to the site (They had not given us a number, but said to wait.) When he took us to the site, the RV in the next site was pugged in ours, as his did not work. It also had NO sewer connection... When we complained, he said "Well, if you are going to be like that, I'll find another." He looked at half a dozen nearby sites, and found something wrong with each, at one point asked, "can you use 20amps?" He had an obnoxious attitude, as it it were our fault he could not find us a site. Finally, he took us to the other side of the campground, to an area which looked as it it was reserved for members, and we got our site, with Full Hookups. BUT, then he told us to park crossway's, across 2 Sites. OK for us, as we had not yet seen the problems.... but it blocked the other site, so no one else could use a good site. By the time we were there _Over_ two hours had passed for registration & getting an assignment to a site... The "well stocked store," had practically nothing in it. Less than 20% of the shelf space was filled, and most there was of no interest to adults, except soda. We Would Have Left Also, except we needed some work done on our RV at Camping World. We had to wait for a week for our appointment. We have traveled from CA, through AZ, NM, TX, TN, SC, NC, VA, MD, MA, VT, NH, before entering ME since December, and never had such problems or seen anything so bad. Even if we tried to add up all the minor things, from all campgrounds we have been in for 13 years full timing, they would not have equaled "Natural High in Lebanon ME... IT is a shame, if it had been kept up even half as much, like the plumbing and pool, the park itself is in a beautiful forest area. But we will never return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We arrived here with a confirmed reservation as Coast to Coast members. We were met by the park manager who was visibly upset that we were there and barked at us that the park was closed. A Nor'Easter has gone through here about 3 weeks previous and devastated the park. Unknown to us (and no notification from Coast to Coast) the park was closed. Previously, we had left a voice message with this park inquiring about its status. Coast to Coast assured us the park was open. We will not bother to return to this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
My suggestion is to find somewhere else. But if you do go, make sure your fresh tank is full. After I setup, I ran a bucket of water for something, don't remember what any more, and all kinds of slime came out of the water line. I figured, ok, it hasn't been run for a while, so I kept running water and kept getting slime. I DID NOT connect the trailer to the water, I was lucky to have a full fresh tank. After talking to some of the others there, one person then understood why he was having water problems, he looked at his filter and it was clogged up with slime. The out side pool was dry along with the spa, and after looking at the inside pool, I would not let the kids in it. The showers I would call bad, they have only 1 knob for water. The maintance person said the water will get warm after awhile, it never did. So we took cold showers, due to no water hookup at trailer. I did see a few full hookup sites where we were, but to my knowledge, water still does not flow up hill. The pipes were sticking out of the ground about 2 feet or so. The maintance people are rude, I had one just about run into me while pulling in. He passed me while driving back to the campsite, he ran up on the grass and cut over in front of me so he would miss a tree, I had to swerve to avoid getting hit and I almost hit a tree. And to top it off, he gave me the finger on his way by. Only thing I could figure is that he didn't like campers there, I don't know. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
My Wife and I stayed here 1 weekend and thought it needed upkeep and was not a very friendly place. Campers were tight together and there was a lot of debri that needed cleaning up. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
It was very quiet with lots of trees. Not really big rig friendly though. The roads are very narrow and have lots of roots in the road, and branches hanging down. We camped here in a Motorhome.
