Tips from campers about Saint Ignace, MI
- Scott Curry Mackinac Island a must Downtown St Ignace3 days ago Lakeshore RV Campground
- Life Without Whine So much to do! We took sheplers ferry (nice veterans discount, picked us up at the campground) to get over to Mackinac Island for the day (carriage tour, beverage in the Grand Hotel, butterfly museum, lots of fudge, serious walking to do). Next day we used Google maps to bicycle for local stuff (Fish Trolley, Lehto's pasty, Salty Mac brewpub and a couple smoked fish stops). Swam in Lake Huron (ok, quick dip) just to say we did it . Make sure to check out Mackinac Bridge lit up at night (and you cross it at a whopping 20 mph and that is good.5 days ago Straits State Park
- MELINDA_696 We chose this park due to its proximity to the Mackinac Island ferries out of St. Ignace. We were able to ride our bikes to the dock -- less than a mile away. We rode the Arnold Classic ferry. Very enjoyable and saved us $26 each on the fare.6 days ago Straits State Park
