It is a beautiful campground, but poorly managed. We made reservations 1 week in advance for two sites, when we arrived one was taken and the manager wasn't available and didn't answer phone or return call. Ended up paying at city hall. The Wood Tick Theater is about 10 blocks away and provides a great variety show. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely lakeside campground located just west of the town of Akeley MN with clearly marked signage off highway 34. Nearly all are waterfront sites with 30 amp power, water, table, and fire ring. Dump station at entrance. Clean & quiet, no road noise or trains. People are fishing in the spring fed Lake Crow Wing 11. Friendly staff. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
