The most expensive site on the whole trip and yet if you wanted a shower you had to put quarters in to take a shower. Nearest diesel fuel was back in Orr, Mn, about 30 miles away, so plan ahead. Wasn't much to do if you didn't have a boat. Wi-Fi was only usable at the office. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is my first rating, and only our second RV campground experience - I hope my rating is fairly representative with others. Crane Lake is the name of the little town, as well as this lake, and it has a wonderful reputation for fishing. The campground is well kept, mostly gravel with sand near the lake's edge, and full hook-ups at each site. The campground has Wi-fi capability, but where we were parked, we couldn't get a connection so we had to go up to the office. However, the trailer next to us had no problems. This campground does not offer boat rentals but they have docks if you want to bring your own boat. Several people did just that. We rented a boat from Pine Point Lodge, a place we had stayed a few years earlier. We'll go back here some day. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
