This is a nice park. We went here to use the ATV recreational area that is up in Gilbert. The manager "Rusty", is a well informed and friendly guy. There were tornado warnings the night we stayed and the local sheriff came around to each site to let people know they were going to open up the library for shelter. The park is kind of located right in Gilbert, but it's off the beaten path, so you don't notice you're right in town. Our site was absolutely the best site, with an unobstructed view of Lake Ore-Be-Gone. Listened to the loons at night. We used the park for the ATV access, but they've turned the Lake into a diver's type lake. They've cleaned and sunk numerous items (helicopter, tug boat, etc) for divers to explore. Not a lot to do in town, but Virginia (Virginia, Minnesota) is just a short trip down the road. Beautiful area and we would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
