Not worth the money. The park is an okay place to spend the night. Asked for a satellite friendly site and was assigned a space directly under a large tree. Had to exit the park and come back in to get to a new site. Park has several fire ant mounds close to sites. Use caution when connecting utilities! All sites have level concrete pads. Many, many signs warning to not drive or park on grass. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Yes it's clean, but that's it. The bathrooms are locked 24/7. The cable tv is snowy. There is no water pressure or hot water in Laundry room. It is invaded by ants. Lots of low income people live here! The WI-fi doesn't work half the time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Upon first glance, this park appeared well kept. The site was level and easy to get into. When we arrived, the office was closed and the bathrooms were locked. The office staff do not live on site. After an office person arrived and we checked in, I inquired as to the locked bathrooms and was told he would go open them. We left to visit a friend and upon our arrival back at the park at 9:00 pm we found the bathrooms (which housed the showers as well) locked and inaccessible. There was no after hours office number. When asked, we were informed that we needed to be self contained and that the bathrooms were not accessible. This was *never* communicated to us, either when making the reservation or when we first arrived. No apologizes, no redress. We left very unhappy and do not recommend this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Their website photos make it look better than it is. We could get a pull thorghu for our 40' coach + toad so we booked it, and when we got here, I regretted. But here we are for 2 nights. Staff are very friendly and helpful but this is one we would not have found the access road if we'd not called ahead. It's a very old place, very tight spaces, few pull throughs, narrow lanes and apparently people live here, snow birds, too. I don"t understand the previous comments about a shopping center. There is a liquor store and McDonalds near along the road but no shopping center. We leave after our 2nd night which is already paid for, and I would not return here. This is like an old dumpy campsite with packed spaces. Not very flat, but our jacks leveled us out. It was quiet enough last night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Located right next to a shopping center. Great location. Management and owners don't like it when you socialize. Wants everyone to stay in their camper. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly staff at this park. We stayed two nights to get new tire and to go to church. Has no Wi-Fi, long pull through sites, a quiet park, with some road noise. Was a good over night stop. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Good park for an overnight. The Interstate is close but if your windows are closed it is not noticeable. Roadway is a little narrow but not a problem if you are patient. You get a discount for a second visit. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We would stop here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Extremely friendly owner and a very nice campground. As others said, some sites are tight or have an incline entering or leaving, but if you take it slow, it is not a problem. We had a long pull through, concrete pad and we did not have to un-hook the toad. Nice grassy area between sites and hookups are nice. There is a small fee to wash the RV, but it is worth it and a lot cheaper than a truck wash. Some road noise, but with A/C going, it was not a problem. Good cable TV and Wi-Fi, and nice areas to walk pets. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Small neat but very oudated c/g with lots of permanent residents, full hook ups, 50amp, paved road, narrow un-level and cracked concrete pads, pull thrus, much too tight for big rigs we had to back out and drive over the grass to leave and then hitch our towed up in the road, a lot of noise from the freeway as it runs along the side of the c/g, bathrooms poor and very basic, WiFi did not work. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Had to laugh when we arrived after reading only other review. Must have been written by owner. This is not a 10 but is a perfectly adequate park. It's all gravel with no shade and minimal landscaping. To be fair, this was a mobile home park destroyed by Katrina so it will likely look better with time. While we had a pull through for our big rig in a wide space, we had to lower car off tow dolly to fit - which we would have done anyway to tour area. There was room next to coach to park vehicle. Utilities located in nice, modern pedestal. Park is located right across highway from beautiful white sand beaches and only 10 miles to Biloxi. Pet area is not usable yet, if ever. The managers who checked us are absolutely delightful. Very friendly and helpful. Husband directed us to site. Overall park had all we need; clean, quiet and well located. We would stay here again any time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

New park, very clean and well landscaped. Big site, friendly workers. Across the street from beach. And even though it rained, the whole park is limestone and there was no mud or standing water. We will come back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Do not stop here if you use showers or rest rooms, they are not acceptable for multiple reasons. This is a mobile home park with a few spaces for transient RV's. The $30 fee for no amenities and unacceptable showers/restrooms is far too much. Cash only, they do not take credit cards. Wi-Fi non-existent and I wish camp owners would stop pretending they have it just because they can get internet in their office. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not a destination park, Southern Oaks Mobile Home Community is just as it’s name implies – it’s a park that has mostly homesteaders but obviously they do take in travelers. It’s close to the interstate, easy in and out on paved roads and we were escorted to a nice, level blacktop pull through site. They do have Wi-Fi but because the area was being blasted with thunderstorms it would be in but mostly out of service. We relied on our Verizon MiFi. The park is close by the Gulfport Biloxi International Airport but because of the storms we never heard any planes either landing or taking off. Walmart and other convenience stores plus restaurants are within easy driving distance. We were escorted to our site and with their Passport Rate we would definitely stay here again as a one niter. Our fee reflects the Passport America rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very strange park in that it combined transit RVers, semi permanent RVers and mobile home residents inter spaced all over the park. That said, it seemed to work. The manager was very friendly and helpful and put us in a site that he thought would be well suited to us. The individual sites were huge, grassy lawns with concrete slabs and patios. There were a good number of channels on the cable TV but the Wi-Fi was iffy at best even though we were next to the antenna. The manager said he was "working on it". We had the best meal of our trip on the recommendation of a park neighbor. We are coming back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
