- Smpl.Fun CELL SERVICE: If you're using Verizon, be prepared for limited or no service during your visit. This applies to the entire area, not just the campground. RIVER ADVENTURE: Don't forget to bring river tubes for a fun float down the Battenkill River. DELIVERIES: They're happy to receive packages for you, but remember to use County ROUTE 61 as the delivery address. Note that Amazon and Walmart won't accept County ROAD. LIBRARY: My wife absolutely loved the on-site library. It's the largest and best we've ever seen! ICE CREAM: Make sure to visit Battenkill Valley Creamery for their delicious homemade ice cream.
