This is a great RV park. We come here every year. All the staff are very friendly; if you need anything, just ask. Nice pool, good restrooms and showers. Green grass, lake, fishing, casino, clean, what more could you ask. Only one thing--cable TV. But we don't mind. Nothing on anyway. We'll keep coming back again and again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV park is an oasis in the desert. The park is beautifully landscaped with sites surrounding a man-made lake with a waterfall at one end. The perimeter is bermed with pine trees. The lake is surrounded with palm trees and a walking path. The sites are laced with pine trees and a number of leaf trees. Each site has a concrete pad for the coach as well as a concrete patio and grass in between sites. Some sites have concrete picnic tables, but not all do. There are no fire pits and no cable TV. So if you want satellite reception ask for a site that does not have tree blockage. There is a sand beach with usage of kayaks and paddle boats, but no swimming in the lake. There is fishing from the shore or from a fishing dock. There is a swimming pool for families and a spa for adults over 16. There is a casino with a restaurant, a market and gas station at the entrance to the park. Our rate was based on the use of Passport America. We highly recommend this RV Park based on over 8 years of RVing. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our visits to Pahrump have been to visit family. Our first time here was in Dec. 2012, we had site #23 and loved it. It was quiet and right next to the laundry & showers. Our Dish Tailgater & Verizon MiFi 4G worked great. Our next visit was in Feb.2013, this time we had site #155 which had constant traffic going by and about as far from the laundry & showers as you could get. It did have a “lake view” which you get to pay extra for if that’s your thing. The staff and guests have been very friendly on each visit. It appears to be very family & dog friendly with enough things to keep the kids happy. The laundry and showers were clean. If you don’t have your own Wi-Fi, or satellite TV and you want it you’ll have to pay extra for that also. Only one park out of the 28 parks we've stayed at over the past year and a half of full timing did not include free Wi-Fi & cable TV. It is a “pretty” park and appears to be a good place for families with kids, and those that are on “vacation”; however, there are other RV parks in the area that may be better suited to the non-gambling full-timer who is only in need of laundry, Wi-Fi, cable, or a place to rest before moving on. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

On our way back from Las Vegas we thought we would try a new location having already enjoyed the Liberty Estates mobile home park, and this new location had a lake! That is where the positive review ends. This place was run down and neglected. The amount of noise, garbage, and how horrible the on site casino/store looked inside will keep us away next year. The ducks where fun to feed, but not a great place to stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are good, plenty of room to get around for us in our Super C. A few trees to be careful of for slide outs. Nice pond in the middle of the park which is lovely to look at. Very quiet and pretty park. Washrooms are clean. Security is wonderful. The staff at the front desk were friendly, but the ones we met when we checked in didn't know what there was around Pahrump to see. Downsides of this park are: 1) no cable, 2) internet is horribly slow, 3) I had to pay extra for the internet. I was on the phone for over an hour with the internet provider trying to get hooked up and then get the service to speed up so we could actually use it (they were very helpful and sympathetic). The staff at Lakeside are very aware of the problems, but the owners of this park aren't listening to what clients are saying about the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a really nice park with spacious sites and beautiful landscaping. However there are a couple of downers. There is no cable TV available, and although the big trees offer lots of shade, if you have a roof mounted satellite dish you only have a choice of a few sites to be able to get a signal. They have Wi-Fi provided by an outside company which is $25.00 a month and slower than molasses. Good food at the casino cafe if you can stand walking through the smoke to get to it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Maybe we have not stayed at a lot of parks but this one is in the top 3 that we have ever stayed at. We stayed in spot 35 which gave us a perfect lake view out of our windshield. The town of Pahrump didn't really float our boat but the park sure did. We stayed for a week but almost convinced ourselves to stay another week. A real gem! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Price is the Pass Port America rate. Easy access from Homestead Rd. The park/casino/restaurant is under new ownership. Was here 10 months ago and other than a new sign and name change, no noticeable change in operations. Located in a rural area 3 miles south of Pahrump. Paved interior roads, concrete level sites, well-spaced with several spaces backed up to the small lake. Lots of trees and grass. A store, gas station, propane station, and small casino with a good restaurant on site. It's very quiet with no highway, airport, or train noise within miles. Pet and kid friendly . There is no cable but several off air stations. The Wi-Fi is in the office but a good cell phone signal if you have an air card. It is a good park to walk, ride bikes, and relax. It’s an hour to Las Vegas and an hour to Furnace Creek and Death Valley. It is a good home base if you want to explore Death Valley and ghost towns in the area. The park runs a shuttle to the other Casino in Pahrump owned by the park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All utilities were easily accessible and worked properly. Lots of ducks wandering around that leave malodorous nuggets that can be tracked into your rig. Be careful where you walk or where your pet walks. We will be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent two nights in a lakeside site in early November. The campground is very well maintained with lots of grass, large shade trees, and landscaping. Our site backed on to the lakeside path, and consisted of a concrete pad with gravel edging. We have a 33' trailer and 21' truck and were able to park both on the concrete pad. Some sites had picnic tables but the lakeside ones did not - there were a few picnic tables and charcoal grills around the lake. The facilities were very clean - we used the restrooms and showers, pool and hot tub. The campground also offers free pedal boats, kayaks, and horseshoes. The casino is small (slots only) and very smoke-filled - we did not play here, just took a pass through to see it. The casino store had basic food items, and the campground store was very limited with a few snack items. The road leading to the campground was narrow and very bumpy and not very well maintained - we arrived after dark and found the last couple of miles of driving to be quite rough. The roads within the campground are fine. Our stay was quiet and relaxing, with the loudest noises coming from the ducks and other birds that woke up with the dawn! We will definitely return to this campground, probably when we visit Death Valley in the winter. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly and helpful staff, concrete sites with patio, no tables available. Mostly back in sites with very few pull throughs for big rigs, plus they charge a premium. Wi-Fi is extra and very spotty depending on site relationship to tower. Gas station, store and Casino at property, with free shuttle to and from your rig. Man made lake with free paddle boats, clean pool & hot tub. Would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My wife and I are new in the RV world and are locals to the Las Vegas area. We chose Lakeside because we wanted to put our new Winnebago 'Vista' through the paces and saw that Lakeside had been given good reviews from this website. We had a great experience at the park and the casino in front of the main entrance was some extra entertainment in the evening. Staff was friendly, our site was clean & spacious and met some awesome neighbors while walking our dog throughout the property. We are planning another 3 day trip to Lakeside in approximately 2-3 weeks when I get home from Iraq. I am prior law enforcement so you know I am aware of my surroundings and felt safe within the park and casino. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lakeside Casino and RV Park is one of our favorite places to stay. The small "lake" is scenic, and they provide kayaks and canoes to paddle on for free. The pool and spa are clean and fun. There is a paved sidewalk especially nice for dog walking, around the perimeter of the lake. Spots are large, with grass, picnic tables, cement pads, and close by barbecues. They are under new ownership, and are improving the landscaping, which is still lovely, as are the ducks. The restaurant in the casino is good, and reasonably priced. I miss the old menu, however. I enjoyed ordering the large, reasonably priced and salad bar and single entree evening buffet instead of the large pricier, multi-choice buffet now offered, but I suppose there are those that prefer the large buffet. We have DTV, so don't need cable, or antenna service, Although a cable would be a nice addition. We were never able to pick up the local antenna feed stations, but I don't know if that was the fault of our antenna system, or their location. Overall, a great park in a lovely location. Rate reflects PA discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wow, this is an oasis in the desert. We had a nice concrete pad-level and in good shape, shade trees-easy in and out. The showers/restrooms were very clean and well taken care of. The resort offered a lot of perks in the casino that we didn't take advantage of since we are not gamblers. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

THE GOOD: The name is changing from Terrible's to Golden Lakeside. Great park with beautiful well maintained grounds. You feel like you are in a forest while in the middle of a desert. The restrooms were clean and modern with a very large personal shower room. We visited in summer so many sites were available, we used the Good Sam discount for the $28 rate in a space on the lake. Definitely worth the 5/5 star ratings. The casino was small with only slots. Restaurant looked OK although we did not eat there. They do NOT have cable TV even though there were hook ups for it on each site. Antenna TV is good with many HD channels. THE BAD: The installed WiFi system is through another company (Matrix Networks). $5 per device per night. Our signal was very poor even though we were 100 feet from the antenna. The Wi-Fi kept giving errors, hanging up and taking a long time to view a page, etc. There are no refunds. They tell you that before hand, because I am sure many people complain about it. IF you need good Wi-Fi go elsewhere, or test your connection, or ask neighbors first. The front desk people were not to concerned about reporting the problem. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV Park was the start of our trip to Alaska. This RV Park is great and there is not much more you can ask in a RV location. The spaces are wide, level and very easy to get into and out of. They recommended a person to wash and wax the MH and they did a great job. The restrooms were clean and the park was clean. My only complaint about the park is when the watering of the lawn. The night of the wash and wax the sprinklers came on and spotted the back and side of the waxed MH. If you have never stayed here before, you can join the players club and get a discount for your stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean, comfortable campground, nicely landscaped with good size sites. Friendly, helpful staff. The lake includes a sand beach (no swimming) and an opportunity to fish. Reasonable proximity to Death Valley NP which was one of our objectives. Rate required obtaining a player's card at the on-site casino. We stayed 4 nights, and plan to return. Another great stay at Terrible's. All utilities (water, sewer, electrical) were good. It seems the new ownership is cleaning up some of the neglected items: i.e., the grounds and the lake. The park was pretty much full and a cruise around to other RV parks in the area showed vast vacancies. We love this park because of the grass (very dog friendly). Good food in the Casino at a reasonable price with many coupons and deals. I would rate the park a 10 but I think the sprucing up and cleaning up have aways to go still. I would Love to see some new carpet and new filtration of the stale/smoky air in the Casino (maybe a few more newer slots too). We camped here with using the Passport America discount and we will return again and again. Oh: some sites are not satellite friendly so bring a portable dish if TV is necessary. I got about 15 over the air digital channels. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We've stayed at this park numerous times and it's always delivered. We had a back in premium site on the lake this time and at the Passport America rate it was well worth it. Our site #116 was plenty long and wide and at the end of the row we only had a neighbor on 1 side. This park is very quiet and we didn't notice any road noise at night. Nightly rate is with Passport America and club card discounts. Wi-Fi is still not working, rules regarding dogs being tied up outside are not enforced and when we asked to stay an extra night were told we'd have to move even though there were several empty spaces. We decided to leave. The lake has been cleaned up, condition of the landscape has improved, customer service in the casino was great, in the RV park it could use a little work. This was our first time visiting Pahrump so we didn’t really know what to expect to find in the area. I checked most of the RV parks websites for information and was frustrated that most of them didn’t have any pictures of their sites, just pictures of their office, pool, the surrounding mountains, etc. Only Terrible’s had site pictures so we booked a reservation with them. We were not disappointed. The sites are large with grassy areas between sites, many trees, concrete pads, paved interior roads and concrete sidewalks all around the manmade lake. Out of curiosity, while in town we drove around to some of the other RV parks and now I understand why they don’t post pictures of their sites. For the most part they are nothing more than parking lots with hookups. So, in my opinion, if you are going to Pahrump and the temperatures are going to be over 70 degrees, don’t even contemplate staying anywhere else but at Terrible’s Lakeside – well unless you are really into roasting yourself and your RV in a hot parking lot. The RV park staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. If you have a Terrible’s player’s card you get a $4 a night discount (and if you don’t have a card they will let you go get one so you can get the discount). The park is clean and well maintained. We didn’t use or check out the showers but the laundry rooms are adequate but a little dark and cramped. We received excellent 3G Verizon broadband and cell service here and our RV antenna received around 20 stations (the park doesn’t have cable service). I do have one warning to possible guests – if you are not ‘dog people’ you may want to choose a site along the perimeter of the park. People walk their dogs around the lake and (right now) there are a LOT of people with dogs staying here (us included). Where possible, we prefer to take our dog outside of the parks for our walks. There is vacant land on both sides of Terribles where you can safely walk a dog off leash and not bother other people and if you like a nice long, quiet walk yourself you can safely walk along the back roads around the casino property. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pet and kid friendly . The only detraction is no TV cable and limited antennae stations. We had satellite so TV was not an issue. Good cell phone signal. Not a lot to do in the immediate area, but a good park to walk, ride bikes and relax. It’s an hour to Las Vegas and a good home base if you want to explore Death Valley and ghost towns in the area. The park runs a shuttle to the other Casino in Pahrump owned by the park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All utilities were easily accessible and worked properly, however it did freeze at night, so be sure to disconnect water line and use internal water before retiring for the evening. We checked out the other parks during the week we were at the park and felt this is best of the bunch-all things considered. We will be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I returned to this park after writing a negative review two years ago. Am very glad i did return as things have really improved. Restaurant food is now very good, much clean up has been done right down to new carpeting. Lake has been cleaned, no more trash floating around etc. and entire park has a well maintained look. Employees are once again friendly, check in is good. If they would fix Wi-Fi and cable this park would be a 10. Will definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I would rate this park a 10, except there was no internet (Wi-Fi) access available. We took our laptop to the office and it was not working there either. Therefore we went into town (to the library) and used their access. The park is beautiful, with wide grassy spaces between sites. The restaurant on-site was wonderful. Very inexpensive prime rib dinners on Saturday nights were one of the best we have experienced. People were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful setting and a nice park. Other then the nearby casino, there is nothing in the area. So plan on driving to see the area. Lots of ducks in the park. Park starts to fill on Thursday. By Saturday it is just about full until Sunday evening. Great walking path and pet friendly. No cable TV or Wi-Fi. Cell service was not the greatest either. Will probably not stay here again. Nothing about the park, but saw other places if we return to the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have been staying at this campground over the winter months. We enjoy the large grassy sites. This campground is very dog friendly. They have a walkway around the lake that has doggy bags placed every so often. Yes, they have ducks on the lake and yes they can make a mess. I recommend not camping on the lake area and camping further out in the campground. If people did not feed ducks on their site, the ducks would not leave the mess on their sites. These ducks are wild and people do feed them so they stay in the park. The campground doesn’t have cable TV, nor do they advertise that they do. There is regular TV, right from the antenna on your rig. I get all the basic channels and the local channels. There is a casino/restaurant on property. This is a basic comfort food type restaurant, nothing special on the food, but the employees are very nice and the food is cheap. They have a two for one pot roast on Mondays and offer other specials all week. My husband and I enjoy the breakfast special starting at $2.99 up to $4.99. The casino has the newest games, if you can handle the smoke. I try to go early in the day when the smoke isn’t bad. The staff at the restaurant and the campground is all very friendly and go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Have stayed here on several occasions and have always enjoyed our visit. No problems with power, water or sewer. Good Verizon cell coverage, our Wi-Fi worked in our site albeit a tad slow (site #23). Many tree's in the CG could be a satellite problem for roof top units. Restaurant is a bargain especially for breakfast. The Casino itself could use some updating along with repair in the restrooms and showers. But all in all, we'll be back: again and again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

A new company is running the gambling operation, new cards are required and be careful of the promotional discounts for the RV park on the web site. This park is on a downhill slide from what it once was. The lake is all muddy, the wi-fi doesn't work in all RV sites. Their sprinklers will spray all over your rig and leave awful water spots. Stayed 5 nights. Enough time to smell the duck droppings and sewer hookups. For some reason, the sewer stink was especially strong near the park entrance. Don't fall/jump in the lake: yikes! The park is very park-like but, the wandering duck population like to hide their "presents" in all the grass areas and if (when) your shoes come in contact with grass (impossible to avoid), you're sure to gain a farm-like aroma inside your rig. Employees are helpful and friendly. The casino restaurant food reminds me of military chow and seems more than a little expensive compared to the "quality" of a place like Denny's. Pull-through sites are large with adequate grass (warning, be careful where step) areas between each. TV cable service was "down." They do not claim to have cable, so maybe they should remove the old cable connector from their hookup boxes. No Wi-Fi (except in the office/lounge). If you are 'lucky' enough to get on the net, expect low-speed modem-type/dial-up speeds. Their website looks good but, don't try to make reservations at it because "it's not 'ready' yet." The casino (cough, cough) could use some smoke venting: smells like a full ashtray. I'm not anti-smoker: I smoked for nearly 40 years and could hardly breath there. Overall, I expected more of an award-winning site. Pretty oasis in the desert, but not worth another stay here for me and my wife, but I will be generous and give it a "6". We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

A great park to use as a base while exploring the Nevada desert and Death Valley, etc. Very nice grounds with pool and lake. Staff was great and reminded us that seniors get half price at the casino's buffet. Normal casino fare. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I really want to give this RV Park a 10 but unfortunately I cannot. Two and only two detractors are lack of cable TV and pay for use Wi-Fi. I really didn't need either one as limited broadcast TV was available and the kind lady in the office checked the weather updates for me with her computer. Beyond those two issues this RV park is great. There are no bad sites. Even the ones not located on the lake shore are good. Plenty long/wide, and easy to get into. I would caution those selecting a site near the access road that the sign for the casino can be very bright when lit up at night so you may need extra curtains to keep out the light. Although it is a relatively compact park there is absolutely no feeling of being in a parking lot. It is more like being in a state park with a great pool and restaurant. The pool area is very nice and large, unfortunately the pool heater was broken so the water was cold but that will not be an issue in a couple weeks when the temps warm up. Not a whole lot to do in Pahrump but this park had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We will definitely stay here whenever passing through the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pleasantly surprised after winding our way in off the Hwy by about 3 miles! It is very pretty and well maintained! It is layer out all around a 'park lake/pond' and spots are spaced far enough apart. Trees thorough out for shade and views are nice with the lake & mountains surrounding. A small Casino is right there, and meals were cheap and good. Close enough to town if you'd like. They have a nice big pool, lake you can use a paddle boat on and concrete walking paths here-n-there. Wished we had booked for a couple nights instead of just one! Wi-Fi worked great, TV was fine, and would definably recommend this RV Park to people. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is an Oasis in the desert. We were so surprised at how beautiful this RV resort is. We had a lakeside view and the spaces were wide and the park was very clean. The restaurant was very good, reasonably priced and the casino was small but well kept and the staff very friendly. Actually everyone here was very friendly. We had a wonderful time and have already made reservations for next year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Large nice park. Staff was friendly. Very pretty with grass and a fishing lake. Kind of hard to find with only one sign out on the highway to direct you. Sites were all paved and level. Lake side sites are higher priced. Fairly easy access. Next to the cassino. Close to Death Valley California. Parumph is small town off the beaten path. The town has stores, hospital, and gas/diesel, but is about 1.5 hours from LV with no air access so you have to drive to LV for major shopping/medical etc. Also, be aware this is a GAMBLING deal. You can't stay for any extended amount of time (over 2 months) unless you're dropping cash in the casino on a regular basis. But that said: nice park, just not very convenient to larger city if that's your bag. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stay here almost every year on the way back North. The park is well kept and has not deteriorated over the years. The casino is fun, but you might want to pass on the restaurant and buffet as the food is not the best. Inexpensive tho. Best you make your reservations early as the park is very popular. An oasis in the middle of the desert. Only three big issues here that you should know about: 1) Although the park is very grassy and green, the grass is over the desert sand. Ants inhabit the desert here and are a huge population. We had ants all around our 2 sites and beware, they BITE and will leave an itchy and open welt. 2) Sprinklers run 24/7 here to keep it green and growing. Your coach WILL get sprinkler water on it no matter what. It is VERY hard and mineralized. 3) With the beautiful trees comes what trees produce: yellow, pollen powder can, at times, cover everything you own. You will spend a lot of time cleaning here but forget it. Don't clean until you've left. The pollen powder is like a fine powder. It will, however, go into fabrics and other porous materials and stain/affect them. Be forewarned. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A well thought out RV Park with concrete sites between lots of grass and attractive trees. Plenty of space between RVs, excellent hook ups. Wi-Fi and cable were excellent. A family park with the convenience of the casino. Enjoyed dinner and and ten dollars of their money to gamble. This facility is likely the best campground we have ever stayed at in the Western US. The place is impeccability maintained, all level concrete parking pads with concrete patios/picnic tables. Everything else is neatly kept lawn. There is a gorgeous lake in the center of the park that is stocked with fish so one can catch their dinner if they wish. The RV slots are arranged all around the lake. If this beautiful park is not enough there is a full service restaurant and casino on the premises as well. You will look long and far to find anything that is nice as this park. Don't let the drive in fool you. The surrounding area is very desert like and looks nothing like what you find when you arrive at the park. There is no cable TV but the TV off the air reception is available for the major networks. Verizon data service is available for Internet service. We camped here in a Motorhome.

After ten days in the desert we came to Pahrump to look for a park with nice amenities to spend Superbowl weekend at. Pahrump is a snowbird refuge so there are all kinds of parks to choose from in this town. We like this one the best because it is out of town a few miles and it is quiet, clean, and very secure. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Nicely maintained park with lots of grass and very clean restroom and laundry facilities spread out around the park. A small casino and well priced restaurant is located right at the front entrance. No cable hook ups here but we had no problem with the TV antenna and satellite reception. Good Verizon reception too. We'll be coming back for more next winter! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park. It is nicely situated surrounding a lake (with lots of geese!). The spaces are far apart and the amenities are great. You get a discount if you get the casino club card. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. The sites are concrete and level with ample room to park a second vehicle. Besides the casino, there is a gas station with diesel fuel and a propane station. They accept Passport America for up to 3 days. I have camped here 4 times and still find it a great RV Park. The price reflects a special multiday rate. This trip was a new travel trailer shakedown trip. I gave it an 8 rating due to the reduced grass maintenance, which is caused by the summer heat and the fact that Terrible's Corp is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings brought on by the deep recession. It's still is a great value. The restaurant serves large portions at a reasonable price including a daily buffet. The food quality is palatable, but they will never win a James Beard award for excellence. For those RVers that only dine in 4 and 5 star restaurants, you'll need to drive the 70 miles to Las Vegas or cook in your RV. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Well what a pleasant surprise, an oasis in the middle of the desert. All sites are level concrete pads and nearly all have shade. They have deals here and we got one that enabled us to stay 4 days for $40. We were only going to stay 1 night but this place was so good we decided to extend. This is what all RV parks should be like, great staff and a casino within walking distance serving great food at reasonable prices, breakfast for $3 and dinner for $6 to $10 . The WiFi is not free. The lake and the grounds look like they could use a cleaning. Pigeons, ducks and geese leave the grounds and water looking like a toilet bowl. I have stayed at Terrible's on a few occasions now. As other poster's have noticed, some area's of the Park are not being maintained at the same level as before, BUT I still enjoy the setting of the Park with the grass and trees. My rate was the Passport rate and we stayed here three nights. Having the Casino and Restaurant within walking distance is a plus. The lake is a special treat in the desert. We talked to several other campers who were likewise pleased with everything. Terrible's is in bankruptcy and the attempts at cost cutting are showing. Security is reduced, office help is reduced, but the biggest problem is with the nightly watering at the sites. The sprinklers are set so poorly that the coaches are drenched every night which means wiping down every morning. Repeated requests to have the sprinklers adjusted went ignored. We came to Pahrump to attend an RV Rally at another RV park and decided to arrive two days early and try out Terrible's since we had heard many good things about it. We weren't disappointed and I would rate this as maybe the best park we have ever stayed at. The sites are large and level with a concrete pad for the rig, a concrete patio and parking space for your car. The hookups are perfectly located for a motorhome. Most sites are around a beautiful lake with all grass and a nice concrete walkway with trash containers and waste bag dispensers. Our dog loved it. I guess the only reason I am not giving it a 10 is that the Wi-Fi is very slow and they don't have cable TV, although our satellite worked fine. We liked it so much that we came back for three more days after our rally. The rate is for Passport America which you can use for three days. Then after leaving for a couple of days, you can use PA again. This park is a gem with everything we want (except fast Wi-Fi) and we can't wait to come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a pleasant surprise. I would rate this RV park at a 10, but for the poor WiFi reception, I only could give it a 9. But what a 9. Upon arrival, we were amazed at what we saw. Lush landscaping, people fishing from the bank at the man made lake, mature trees and the friendliness of the staff made this a place to put on our "go back to" list. Most of spaces are back in, but we did have one of the pull through spots next to the lake. There is a nice walking patch around the lake and if you travel with pets, there are many "dog pots" around the park. There are kayaks, and paddle boats for your use on the lake as well as a swimming beach near the clubhouse. If you are so inclined, there is shuttle service to the casino located on the property. Also, fuel and propane are available on site as well. This park also accepts Passport America as well as Good Sam. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Tough park to rate, lots of +'s but some -'s also. Nice long LEVEL sites and a nice cement patio. The sites are back in but more than enough room to maneuver into the space. For a private park there was a good amount of space between rigs. The ducks didn't bother us but I know they can be messy. Because it's all grass there is also automatic sprinklers that can mess up a clean rig or tow vehicle. I am not a big fan of having my stuff getting washed by errant sprinklers. We were only there one night and they didn't come on. I did see a lot of high dollar coaches there so they must keep the sprinklers properly adjusted. To us the other negative was the trees and birds, because of the season a lot of tress had no leaves which made the pine trees prime property. For about and hour in the morning and again in the evening the birds were so noisy it was like you were in an aviary. I'm not talking a few birds, I'm talking about a LOT of birds. I would have liked to have a picnic table and cable, but the price is right. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Read the reviews here and decided to take a short drive from Vegas to spend the weekend with my 4yr old son. The duck situation I understand and if your lakeside side expect some visitors. The spa was running but the plaster is peeling inside and on the pool decking surrounding it. The sites are easy to back in and level with gravel surrounding. I have a 30' with one slide. I could not open my awning due to a tree opposite my slide. There are sites where the trees do not interfere with the opening. The fish in the lake did bite but seem lethargic due to the weather. My son did enjoy the kayak which is of no cost to use while there. The playground is great for him and there are several sites around it along with a restroom which all have a laundry attached to it. Bring your own fire pit if you want a fire which seems to be the norm now at most parks. We did not use the Casino on this trip and I will not comment on it. There were plenty of Big rigs parked through out, would recommend for winter / spring / fall I am sure summers are hot here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is the fourth time we have visited this RV park and it is one of our favorites. The price reflects Passport America applied to the weekly rate. The grounds were immaculate, we saw no debris in the lake, it was clean and yes there were ducks but they posed no problem for us. The office staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is a "pay as you use" satellite system, $4.95/day or $17.95/week. We did not find the charge excessive and had no problems with it other than it was slow during peak times. The casino was not particularly smokey when we were there and the restaurant provided average food at pertty reasonable prices. We will stay again and recommend it to others. We stayed here using our Passport America discount. Our site was one of the smaller sites. However, it was level and had enough room for our slideouts. Sites around the lake are considered “premium” sites. However, the lake is home to many ducks who wander around the sites making a mess so something to keep in mind. We stayed here for a weekend. The location is very pretty - however the lake has a lot of trash and debris in it which spoiled the looks of the place. The staff was pleasant. We did have a great spot for our trailer and we were happy with the location. The people staying in the park were very pleasant as well. We rode in the paddle boats and kayaks - but there are too few of them to go around. There were lots of kids there but other than the paddle boats/kayaks and a play ground there isn't much for them to do. The fishing is fun - but it is catch and release only and we didn't catch any (though a couple of kids nearby had.) Our biggest complaint would be the restaurant/buffet. It is in a small and horribly smoky casino and the food quite honestly was terrible. If you stay here - bring your own food for all meals. We feel this is a pleasant, and for the most part, clean place for a weekend visit. We would probably visit again sometime. But I would not recommend it for a long-term stay. I was honestly expecting more. When we arrived I had a coupon for pay for one night and second night was free. I was told that it had expired. Okay. Not a problem, but the rate was more for one night. Then for this place not being real old I felt the lake was disgusting. I would never swim in it. It wouldn't take much to go around the edges and get rid of some of the crap and debris. The paddle boats looked worn. I thought this was sad because they will probably not do anything to keep them up and eventually they won't have them for people to use. The playground is in need of some fixing up. A good coat of paint might help. Couldn't believe you have to walk through sites to get to the playground. There was a mixture of people. Some were nice and some were rude. I think it's sad when you have a young child and you are trying to get them in the pool by the steps and older people are sitting or standing at the steps and won't move. There were three different areas with steps and older people were either standing or sitting right in the way at each one of them.( I know this isn't the fault of the establishment). The gift shop could use some help. How about some postcards of the area and not Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon? Liked the site we had. Looks like they are letting people live there full time. My husband took a walk over to the casino and said it smelled of smoke. Sorry, but I was a little disappointed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park could arguably be in the range of a 9/10 if it were not for the following issues. No Wi-Fi, no cable TV, and the facility is starting to suffer from lack of maintenance. The landscaping seems to be suffering some as trees and grass were both dry in many spots, even saw small patches of weeds in some dry places. Also, they were in no hurry to empty community trash cans and items such as the paddle boats are showing serious wear/tear. We can only assume that Terrible’s bankruptcy filing is part of the reason the maintenance is lacking. That said, it’s a really nice family place with good security and common-sense rules enforcement . Most sites are big enough for most any rig however, there are a handful that are no-go for even some moderate sized truck-trailer combos. We will be going back for sure however, it’s just a shame a place this new and well thought out doesn’t have Wi-Fi or cable TV and it’s a shame it’s starting to fall apart. This campground has a family atmosphere. The campsites surround a private lake that you are allowed to fish from without a license. The campsites are large, level and mostly shaded by large trees. The grounds are not manicured and a little unkempt but OK for the most part. We were in site 35 with a nice view of the lake. The wi-fi is extremely poor and we were forced to go to a patio just outside the office to receive a signal after paying for the service. So do not count on doing any work at your campsite using their internet service. The pool deck is in need of repair/replacement. Considering the price we paid for the campsite we felt it was a good value. It would not be my first choice in a campground; however, if we were in the area again we would stay at this campground again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We love this place. It's a little bit of paradise out in the middle of the Nevada desert. There are shaded sites, lake, fishing, swim lagoon, swimming pool, paddle boats, gas station/grocery mart, casino with a reasonably good food buffet. It is within driving distant to other casinos, movie theater in Pahrump and even within an hours drive to Vegas. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park that is well maintained. Our site 31 was big enough, level and had some shade. Unlike some of the previous posters, I found the folks in the office to be very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is there is no cable TV in the park. You can get decent reception on about five stations with the roof antennae. All told we will definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Probably one of the nicest RV resorts that we have visited. Nice man-made lakes and beach. Lots of fun things to do: paddle boats, canoes, swimming at the beach area, nice pool and patio area. Also, the playground had a nice, big play structure. Casino right next to the RV resort for dinners, gambling, etc. One thing they could have improved: have some activities for the kids. We were there for Easter weekend and thought they should have had an easter-egg hunt for the kids. Would definitely come back given the opportunity. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty park with the man-made lake in the middle, the grass at the sites, the pretty hills surrounding the area and all the trees the park has added. The park is well kept up. The sites are paved with a patio and are ample size for a big rig. We used the pool and it was nice. The WI-FI was an extra fee and was very slow. There is no cable TV. My only disappointment was the casino no longer has the BBQ Buffet which we really enjoyed two years ago along with other reviewers. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Wow. This is only my 2nd "10" I've given to a park in 12 months of being on the road. It's beautiful. Grass, trees, friendly staff & singing birds everywhere. What an oasis in the middle of the desert! In the middle of a 45mph dust storm, we pulled off the road at noon (noon!) to stop for the day. Just too much wind to keep fighting. Found this gorgeously landscaped, green oasis with tons of birds and didn’t want to leave. Stayed our full 24 hours. Paddeboats and kayaks are provided for use on the large lake. Great walking path around the lake (the dog loved the grass after the barrenness of Death Valley!). There’s also a beach area and swimming pool. Lots of friendly security people, a store, gas station with diesel, restaurant and small casino to walk to. And a bargain to boot, for such a nice place. Can't think of one thing to improve--sites were even spaced nicely, with grass in between. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park - an oasis in the desert. If you visit in March or April, you will need reservations. Since we visited in February, there were a number of sites available. The only drawback was that there are only a few pull-through sites, but the back-ins were very large. It is a well maintained, well landscaped, fun casino, good and relatively cheap restaurant nearby. Overall, a great place to stay in Pahrump. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The beauty of this park deserves a 10, but the surrounding area is nothing to speak of, and they do not offer cable TV. In addition, we were under a tree and our satellite did not work. So we missed election night. The restaurant next door is your very basic casino food and the casino is very small and filled with smoke. However, what a beautiful park!!! This park is located in one of the prettiest settings you will find anywhere. Small fishing lake with paved walking lane around it. Sites are large and have grass and picnic tables between you and your neighbor. Security was ever present but not intrusive. Wi-Fi was difficult to access and cost $12.95 for 3 days. Casino is located a short walking distance from the park and good meals are very reasonably priced. We will definitely stay at this park again. Rate is Passport America. The folks at check-in were very friendly & accommodating. We were assigned a back in site, which worked out fine. There are not very many pull throughs. The grounds are very well kept - most days we saw and heard mowers, blowers, and trimmers. Most sites do not have their own table, but we could have used one nearby. The lake was lovely, but dirty from all the geese and ducks. Although the rules clearly state dogs must be on a leash no longer then 6', this rule was not enforced. We haved stayed at this park twice a year for the past 5 year's. Many nice memories. Security is too relaxed, many park rules not enforced. For 4 days they allowed a noisy ATV and a dirt bike to come and go at all hour's day and night, even after complaints from many camper's. Barking dog's, day and evening. This is ultimate "class" in motor camping. The lakeview sites are very relaxing. No gravel or dirt, here. Instead, well-kept lawn. Our doggie fell in love! It's hard to remember that the lake and all of its environs were "hand made". There actually were a couple of times, when looking up at the palm trees, I could make myself believe I was in some exotic place like Hawaii, instead of Pahrump. However, the convenience of the casino and restaurant, within short walking distance, were a fun reminder that we were, in fact, in Nevada! Although Pahrump is an out in the middle of nowhere destination, Terrible's Lakeside is a good reason to go there. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

I have been rv'ing for about 20+ years and this is THE BEST rv park I've ever stayed in. It is a virtual paradise in the middle of the Nevada desert. Shade trees, lake, swim lagoon, pool, casino, restaurant with all-you-can-eat buffet 3 times a day and plenty of roomy, grassy rv sites. The staff, in particular, Rochelle, was fantastic and very accommodating. We checked in on Wednesday not knowing they were full up for the weekend, and even though we had to move sites on Friday, they were able to give us a site for the weekend. Except for no cable TV (local channels from antenna were ok) and a $3.99 per day Wi-FI, we loved it. This was the first time we had ever been here and we will definitely be back, and will probably bring others too. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we've stayed at this park. It is an anomaly in the middle of the desert. The park was designed with a berm to screen the harshness of the desert. You often times forget where you are camped. The WiFi didn't work, the ducks are sometimes noisy. The onsite restaurant food is palatable (except the buffet). There is a gas station and convenience store associated with the park. Propane is available too. While not a perfect location, this is close to it. The park offers good value and nice amenities. Site was clean and had a great lake view with waterfalls, fountains, paddleboats and lots of ducks (so lots of droppings on the walking path around lake). I have stayed in this park many, many times as it is a quick getaway for a three day weekend. Overall, the sites are not on top of each other and are grassy with cement pads. You can get lakeside sites which have great views of the lake and fountains. Great amenities for the kids with the pedel boats, kayaks, pool, lagoon, swings, fishing etc. Having well stocked convenience store and restaurant and casino right there is nice. Downfall of the grass is that the sprinklers make a mess of things at times. Security is not great (although there are folks around all the time) as it is open to anyone to drive around. At under $20 with passport, it is a great value for a nice park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We just love this campground. Came back for the 4th time for Thanksgiving, using our Passport America this time. What a deal! We arrived late this time and security people were outside of the registration, in the cold, checking us in. Stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Usually the next day after Thanksgiving, some people would be having loud parties in the hall near the lake. There was a party this time also, but fortunately they ended early. Not to miss the prime rib special on their menu in the casino restaurant. They serve it 24-hour a day. Use the coupons they gave you at registration. There's one for a bottle of wine with 2 menu orders. Buy one, 2nd one half price coupon, and also the $3.00 off per person coupon. Of course, there's also the buy one get one free buffet coupon. The reason I like this place is because I really don't have to do much cooking here! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park and I agree with the previous ratings. However, for a park of this caliber there are a few problems that stand out. The cable TV system does not work at most sites. The WiFi - which is not free - works poorly at best. Finally, the management appears to be pulling a scam with the evening buffet at the on site casino. Even though most of the tables were empty they told us that it would be at least an hour wait to be seated. Upon park check in you get a coupon for a buy one get one free at the buffet. That sounds like a real good deal but I am afraid they are setting people up to play the slots while they do the built in wait for dinner. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is definitely one of the best I have ever been. Being a full-timer I enjoyed this park and location so much I now use this park as my permanent base-station and for Nevada residency requirements. The park has a beautiful man-made lake with a beautiful fountain in the center, all sites are tree covered for excellent shade. All sites are paved and level. Many sites offer a lakeside site and view. The lake is surrounded by a cement sidewalk and is excellent for walking, jogging and taking the dog for a walk. The park is extremely family friendly. They have a park with swings, slide, sand-box for kids to play. The lake has a sandy beach area and does allow for swimming, fishing and there are paddle boats for rent. The park also has a heated pool and jacuzzi/spa for family fun and play. There is a casino with restaurant on-site. The one draw-back to the casino/restaurant is the staff are not that friendly. Both the casino staff and restaurant staff are somewhat cold and indifferent. The buffet in the restaurant changes daily with theme type meals. Prices are extremely reasonable with breakfast running $4.00, lunch $5.00 and dinner for $7.00 all-you-can-eat buffet. Buffet prices are even cheaper if you are a player with a members card. This campground honors Passport America discounts. They also have extended stays for up to 3-months at a time. Beyond 3-months and the desk must get approval from management. Approval for beyond the 90-day limit is dependent on being a regular player at the casino. The city of Pahrump is 60-miles from Las Vegas and has pretty much everything one would need. They are located just outside the Mojave Desert National Park on the California/Nevada border. For being such a beautiful, family friendly park the rates are astounding. With Passport America I was paying $17.00 per day for the 3-months we stayed. That comes to $510.00 per month and that includes electricity. Most campgrounds I stay for extended periods charge extra for electricity above the monthly site rent. This campground includes all utilities including electricity in their monthly price and also honor Passport America discounts if staying a weekend or a month. Bathrooms/showers and laundry facilities are located throughout the park and are conveniently located regardless where you are parked. Bathrooms/showers are maintained in excellent order and are clean. The park entrance is open from the casino parking lot and there is no gate security but there are security guards present and they do drive-bys on a regular basis. Besides the casino/restaurant there is also a convenience store/gas-station and propane is available. The one major draw-back I have to this campground is although we stayed during the hottest part of the summer, August, for a 3-month stay from August until October we were forced to move from one site to another a total of 10-times during the 3-month stay. Some sites were pull-through and others were back-in. They would not assign us to one site for the entire 3-month stay. I found it to be extremely inconvenient to break down and set up on a new site so many times during our 3-month stay. I would like to see more sites set up for extended stay to reduce or eliminate the need to pack up and move from one site to another. I rate this park as an "8" for that reason but I highly recommend this park. You won't be disappointed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is an oasis in the middle of the desert. The sites were spacious, clean, level, and well shaded. The grass was well watered and very green. The artificial lake is nice. However, they advertise cable service, but it was down when we were there. We were told that there were no plans to fix it either. Also, the Wi-Fi signal was not very strong and downloads were slow. Anybody camping here needs to remember that Terrible's is a casino first, an RV park second. Of course, most of the people camping at Terrible's is there for the casino. We had FHU site #36, it was a really nice, level, paved back-in with lovely views of the pond directly in front; it was just big enough for our 30 ft class A. Only two complaints--no cable TV, and the absolutely worst wi-fi we have ever encountered. The wi-fi is operated by an outfit called "Coach Connect" and, when we were here last year, it was terrible, but they promised it was being upgraded. I guess it was upgraded from very, very lousy to very lousy. It costs $18.00 to use it for a week, and the signal is almost non-existent for 90% of the time. When we got here I was surprised that we had to park in the middle of the road to register, no registration parking. The people at the desk were all business. I guess because of the bad winter, the grass and palms were in bad shape. It looked as though the palms were dead, no green on them at all. Because of that, we didn't take many pictures. Went to the casino to eat most of our meals, good prices and worth what we paid. Lots of long term people here and it showed. The lake is a nice touch but there are duck droppings everywhere, especially on the walkways. All in all, an OK trip but I did expect more. I think next time we will stay in Vegas. I think this is the nicest private campground we have ever stayed at, in more than 25 years of RVing! The park is very well designed and laid out. The sites are easy to back into, and the utilities are in the right spot. Pretty simple things, but so many parks can't seem to get it right. The entire park is very attractive and well maintained. It is literally an oasis in the desert! We enjoyed many walks around the lake. There are paddle boats and kayaks available at no charge. They currently have a promotion where you can get a free nights camping with every $25 in fuel purchases from Terribles stations. This allowed us to stay for free. Unfortunately, we had only made reservations for 3 nights, and they were very busy. We will definitely be back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We found this park to be very tranquil and enjoyed it immensely however there were some items that were bothersome. First as other have said the cable TV was non existent and if you didn’t have satellite you were out of luck. The next thing was the watering of the lawns, it’s done in the middle of the day when you are relaxing on the grass with friends! Not to mention watering down the sides of your RV everyday…. We expected a smoke filled casino but not a dirty pool. The pool was full of bugs and dirt? or bird droppings. Not once in the 5 days we were there did someone vacuum or sweep the pool. The food in the casino was very good and so inexpensive it was cheaper to eat at the casino then make meals in the RV. Nevertheless when it was time to leave we were sorry to go. It was a very nice place all around and is somewhere we will return to. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Spent 2 weeks here during Thanksgiving 2006 with a return visit in February 2007. Have reservation for January through March 2008, in a waterfront site. This is a pretty RV Park with a man-made lake right in the middle. The RV sites are all around the lake. It is a beautiful setting. The casino is on the edge of the RV Park. The food at the casino was very reasonable and good, especially BBQ night! The casino itself was smoky. We were disappointed that there was not WIFI at the sites, you have to take your laptop down to the office area to connect and it does not always work well. Additionally, the cable TV did not work. We were able to get local stations with our antenna. It makes me mad when a place doesn't have all of the things they advertise working and yet they charge you the full price. The bathroom sinks and stools were clean, but the floors need a better cleaning. The laundry room was fine, but nothing fancy. I would go back, especially if they get the WIFI fixed, because I did like the surroundings and the good deals on the meals. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very pretty park and has a nice walk going around the lake and up to the casino but you do have to watch out for duck droppings. You can use your Passport America membership for 3 days which we did and also got a free nights camping by buying $25 worth of gas at their station. I read all the other reviews and most people seem to just love this park. In it's favor I will say that it is very nicely laid out, clean and relatively quiet. The "lake" is man-made, but nice enough. There are, however, some things that we didn't like. How come, for instance, they still can't offer decent cable TV? They have been in operation long enough to have gotten that problem solved by now I would think. I suspect it is a conscious decision on the part of the management. They would rather have you in the casino than in your rig watching TV! And why haven't they got their WiFi working better by now? Why advertise it in large print in the Trailer Life Directory if you can only get it in a few spaces near the office? Same motive I think. We thought we might like to eat in the restaurant, but the atmosphere was way too smokey for us. Even the convenience store smelled like a cigarette factory. One thing to be aware of is that they have different rates depending on what day of the week it is. We came in on a Saturday and had to pay $35 (ouch!) for that night even with our Good Sam discount. The next night the rate dropped to $25, which was much more reasonable. Also, unless you don't mind listening to whatever music the management prefers, don't take a spot too near the pool and spa, where they play music over outdoor speakers all day long. This was a nice place to stay. As already mentioned the tv was very poor quality and the only reason I didn't rate it a 10. I was able to use the wifi with a Hawking dish antenna but it was usually slow. Other rv facilities should use this place as an example of "how to build an rv park". We will definitely go back. This park is a veritable oasis in Nevada. Absolutely stunning. They have done it up right with gorgeous views, great sites, fantastic amenities, very big rig friendly, and excellent people working there. Very convenient to casino and restaurant with good food at good prices. My only complaint is that their wi-fi is through Coachnet, and it works very, very poorly, reflecting badly on the campground. Otherwise, an outstanding place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park with excellent facilities. A real deal at $12/night with PA discount. Weather was too cold to enjoy the pool or boats on the lake. Be warned though...if you're not a gambler, it's not worth the trek to Pahrump because there's NOTHING to do other than gamble. At least in Vegas there's stuff to do besides gamble. You can eat cheap at the buffet, with people standing next to you at the buffet with cigarettes dangling out of their mouths. *Barf* Two of us ate for $6 with the 2 for 1 coupon, but I wouldn't eat there again. Mindless gambling zombies eating the nastiest greasiest food I've ever seen. Like I said...beautiful park, but not worth going all the way to Pahrump...especially if you don't like cigarette smoke. This RV park is close to being excellent. Their TV cable has been good in some spaces with other spaces having no cable reception. Expect to use your onboard exterior antenna. The park is located 4 miles from town. Paved county road to the place is pretty bumpy, just go low & slow. That`s the minus stuff. Sites have concrete slabs with patio. Many trees & lots of grass throughout. RV washing permitted, however make certain to wipe the rig down as the water will leave white spots. Laundry & bath rooms kept very clean. Overall apperance of the park is very good. Streets are paved & level. Nice 7 acre lake with paddle boats available & small sandy beach for swimming. The lake water is kept very clean year round. Small swimming pool behind the office. Security patrols the park 24/7. Office staff are pleasant & helpful. Passport America & numerous other discounts available. As indicated in other posts there is a casino on premises. In my opinion the RV park was installed to support the casino. In Nevada that makes sense. The casino has a buffet or you can order from the menu. The buffet prices are not expensive & the food is pretty good--most of the time. We have stayed here 2-10 days per time since 2003. Our most recent stay was 8 days in October 2005. We will be returning the first week of March 2006 We camped here in a Motorhome.

Money was no object when building this park! A great family resort. If you don't care for kids go during the week when school is in session. Only drawback to this park is all the green and the irrigation system required to keep it green. Your coach will get wet on some lots. I would guess this to be one of the top 5 parks in the country. This park is only 55 miles from Las Vegas and is only 2 years old. There is a Casino on the property. It is the most beautiful park we have stayed at. We are still there and have been there since Jan. this year. It is only $300.00 a month and that includes electricity. You have to get your reservation in really early as it has become very popular and is almost impossible to get a site if you are a drive up. The meals at the Casino are really great and they have many deals on food. The town itself is not much but they do have two large chain grocery stores. Also, it is a short drive to Death Valley. We camped here in a camper.

This was a nice find. It is a mobile home park in Pahrump, Nevada, but they offer RV and trailer sites also. It has a much nicer homey feeling when there are long term people there. The large mobile home lots were more then enough to fit our fifth wheel, and the rates are lower then RV parks in Pahrump. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice, quiet park. There is lots of room between the sites. The pool and hot tub are well cared for and the workout room is excellent. The only negative would be the Wi-Fi is on the slow side and the sewer hookups are a bit inconvenient. This is our second visit here and we will come again. We stayed for a week. I love this place. The park is beautiful, and it even has a gym. The pool was not heated when we were there due to budget constraints. This drew a few grumbles. However, they did feature free bowling on Friday night plus low priced food so what's not to like? The Wi-Fi where we were was iffy. This resort is awesome. If a 15 rating was available, I would give it and all is just $20 PPA/Night. Facilities are excellent. The gym is huge, Sauna, pools, jacuzzi, bar and food are superb. This is a beautiful rv park. It has everything that a person needs. The only 2 downfalls that we have seen is 1) Their propane costs are a $1.00 higher than anywhere in town.2) They do monitor usage by space number on the included WIFI. If they see that you are downloading music or movies they will cut you off. They say the WiFi is for emails and small usage. They should state this in their ads for snowbirds. This was very frustrating when trying to use the internet. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here with a caravan. Nice back in sites on concrete with paved side site for tow vehicle. Beautifully landscaped but no shade, which is a factor in the desert heat. This is a wonderful Resort and in terms of facilities, one of the best we have ever stayed in. The rate we paid reflects the monthly rate, excluding electricity, and for what you get it is excellent value. Very nice pool area, top-notch fitness center, and beautifully landscaped grounds. However, it doesn't get full marks because of the quirks mentioned by other reviewers: strangely configured sites with hook-ups on the 'wrong' side in many instances, same goes for the gazebos on the deluxe sites, and some very tight sites for big rigs. But overall, a lovely park and we will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

You will be impressed when you pull in to the park as it is beautifully landscaped with rock and palm trees. The driveway leads you straight to the main building for registration. You walk in to the registration area. Off of the registration area are a gym and sauna, small gift shop with a beauty parlor and a bar/ restaurant/ bowling alley that leads out to the pool area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good. A lot of effort has been put in to this park to make your stay an enjoyable one. That was the good news. Now here is the bad. Once you get away from the main building the roads are very narrow. All of the spaces are pretty narrow and you have to back in. The parking area for your tow vehicle or toad is on the left side of the RV. This leaves a very narrow area for exiting your rig. If you want to sit outside you have to sit on the opposite side from your door. With our slides out we could not walk around our rig because of the vegetation. To their credit the gentleman that took us to our spot came back and trimmed a tree and a few plants so that we could open our slides. This is not a dog friendly park either. They welcome pets, but they do not have a dog walk or run. What they said was a dog walk was a small dirt area way in the back of the park. We took our dogs across the street from the park into the desert because it was much more convent. In the summer it will be very hard on the dogs as the park is all cement and asphalt. There is no grass and the very small area between the RV spots are gravel and plants and trees. I'm not saying that we wouldn't go back, but there are other parks in the Pahrump area that we would choose first. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here for 2 months and had to leave early due to a family emergency. Everything with the facility was nice. We did eat at Mark's Grill and it was very good. Even though pets were allowed, there is no dog park and not really anywhere for the dogs to do their business. We did experience bad winds for a few days: approximately 70mph. Electric was extra but didn't seem to be unreasonable. Our site included a nice propane bbq grill and a tiki table. If in the area would stay again but would probably look at something closer to town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

At first glance this park may seem to be a real treasure, but it has some major issues I found to be less than ideal. When looking at the landscape when you drive in, it is evident that the developer spent a lot of money building the park (it is designed to be an owner style RV resort). But after being taken to our site, the picture started to unravel. The sites are extremely narrow and over planted with greenery. We had a pull in site, and when we pulled in and opened our slides, we couldn't get out of the door! Literally, poorly designed greenery was blocking our door. It was necessary to walk in the planters to get to the rear of the RV. We requested, and were moved to another site. While this site was a little better by the RV door, it was still so narrow that we had to turn sideways to walk up to the door. I we don't have large slides on the rig, just 18" when extended. Most of the sites we observed walking around the park were built that way. The hook ups were place almost at the front of the site, so long hoses are necessary. And since the sites slope from front to back, your sewer connection may have to run up hill to empty. The greenery planted in the parks looks nice now, but when it grows out it will be unmanageable. Many trees that will be 40' plus tall at maturity are planted 18" apart! The club house is a redeeming point for this park. It is also evident that a lot of money was spent on the facilities. The pool and spa are nice, and the weight room facilities are the nicest that I have ever seen in a RV park. Being desert, there is no grass in the park, just concrete pads for the RV's and asphalt roads. All very clean, but in the summer it will be brutal to walk a pet on. The surrounding town is also kind of a pit. Not much in the way of stores or eateries that you would want to stop at. This is not a bad park, just another one where the builder should have talked to an RV'er before putting in the (hard scape). I would look around before coming back here. We camped here in our new-to-us Airstream, site paid for by the dealer, so we don't know the price, but it's truly a resort. It has a beautiful pool, nice bar/restaurant, and bowling alley. Came during Good Sam Jamboree. Nice park with many amenities, as you would expect for a $40+/night park (our rate was Passport America). Was surprised at how narrow the sites were and the fact that all utilities are at the rear. In our instance, it required that we use 35'+ of sewer hose to connect, as well as 30'+ of fresh water hose. No cable TV, but we got 5 or 6 off air channels. Wi-Fi and cell service was good. We camped here for four nights with our Passport America membership. We really liked this resort and would definitely consider coming back. The sites are all paved and nicely landscaped. The sites are rather small, but the place was quite empty when we were there so the site size wasn't an issue for us. Most sites are back-in, they have a few pull throughs. We had a 50 amp FHU site with free Wi-Fi. The clubhouse and pool are beautiful. There is a bowling alley (extra cost) and small restaurant, a large exercise room, three pools and a hot tub. The pools were not heated, but the hot tub was. There is also a putting green and shuffleboard courts. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects monthly rate with no extra charge for utilities. They have since lowered their rates but now charge for utilities. We loved this park! Has beautiful pools and jacuzzi. Fabulous exercise room: like a really nice gym with locker room that includes sauna, steam, hot tub, nice showers, a scale! They have a little grill room with a bowling alley, pool table and darts. The employees are all wonderful and friendly. Great laundry room. We recently heard that this property is owned by the bank and noticed small changes before we left. (i.e. the gym went from being open 24 hours to being closed at night, grill room was open from 8-8 but then started closing between meals.) Hope they will be able to keep this place alive as we really liked it. It is about 7 miles outside of the town of Pahrump, a little Oasis and we will be back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

While I thought this campground was excellent in many ways, its a tad further out of town than I expected. Some area's of the Park could stand some maintenance related work(ie, pool area, water fall). No real shade to speak of but all the hook ups were reliable. My one big complaint was that while I paid a Passport rate of 28.00 a night while at the RV park, I received an E-mail advising me of a special offer of, purchase two nights and get the third free (at the 25.00 rate). Since the Park was a ghost town, I wondered why the passport rate was more? I never received an answer hence I wont go back to an RV Park with NO integrity! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for four days attending a Regional Rally of 76 motorhomes. The rate is discounted for our group. The park was very good for the rally because they had a large ballroom where we could have meetings, food functions, etc., and the staff did a great job in accommodating all of our functions. If our group had not been here, they would have been pretty much empty. The park is all paved and is basically a parking lot with hookups. Some of the sites are landscaped with trees and even gazebos and grills, and are quite large. However, the sites are not well designed with the electric, water and sewer on the far back of the site. That means you need a very long sewer hose. They advertise as being pet friendly, but there is really not any areas to walk your dog. No grass at all. They do have an area for dogs but it is not well designed or maintained. Overall, the park is not bad and we had a good time, but there are better parks in the area and we probably would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Heavy vegetation, often interfering with slide outs, but staff is very helpful to trim as needed. Dog friendly, but few places to give dogs a chance to walk off pavement. Formerly Seibt Desert Retreat Luxury RV Resort. Rate reflects PA discount. This is truly a "Jewel of the desert". This is our third stay here and we love it, the whole park is paved complimented with beautiful desert landscaping with many mature trees, shrubs and roses galore in the Spring. Some of the hookups are a bit quirky but all workable especially with the help of their gracious staff who escort you to your site and stay with you to help you get settled and hooked-up. The facilities are awesome including: fitness spa, bowling alley, restaurant, convention center/club room, pools, jacuzzi, putting green, boccie ball court, etc., etc. Awesome wifi and satellite friendly. We brought a 23 coach rally here for a week in May 2009 and all of the attendees commented that it was the best rally they had attended. The staff here are all very customer service friendly and the owner is generally on-site. We will return again and again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had intended to stay here, but when we arrived with our Aliner popup trailer on the afternoon of 03/07/2013, we were informed that they didn’t want our kind (not entirely self-contained); this is not mentioned in their glowing ads and reviews online, some of which brag about clean restrooms and showers. Other places that may cater largely to self-contained outfits generally find ways to accommodate us non-self-contained travelers; this Best Western didn’t bother. In response to my next question (could they recommend a place in town?), I was informed that “maybe some other places don’t have rules like we do…you’ll have to look around.” I didn’t like their attitude, and would not stay here, ever. Further, I believe that if a campground allows only self-contained units, that fact ought to be clearly and prominently posted online and in ads, so that we don’t waste our time considering it in the first place. What a nice pretty RV park! They have very long pull through sites and the streets are easy to navigate through. We were in the back of the park and it was very quiet. The park is very pet friendly and there is plenty of grass to walk the dog. They do have adequate Wi-Fi. This park is right in the middle of the city, so it is close to all the action. While the long term sites are extremely attractive, our three night stay placed us in a pull through site designed for two trailers so our street side is no more than five feet from our neighbor. The check-in process was lacking, the staff neglected to provide key cards for the facilities which resulted in a return trip in the car to the front desk. Nice park, well maintained and far enough off of the highway for some peace and quiet. Staff was pleasant but not very familiar with the RV section of the park. We parked in the middle of our site like someone suggested in an earlier review. Doing so also allowed for a place to put our chairs when the sun came around in the afternoon. There weren't very many people in the newer section of the park, most of them were in the older section where they also have more trees. The newer section has palm trees and the sites are asphalt. The older section appears to be gravel sites. This park doesn't have wifi but our Verizon aircard had a good signal along with our cell phone. No trees in our section to interfere with our satellite signal. Water pressure was at 90 lbs, power was good and no problems with the sewer. Site was very wide and long so you won't have to unhook, great for an overnighter. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV park is part of the Best Western Motel complex. Recommend staying in site numbers 601 to 655. These are in the new section and are very large and far apart with grass and a large palm tree. Sites around pool and clubhouse (470 to 499) are OK but some are shared hookups. Beware of the sprinklers! The water is very hard and will spot your RV and can be very hard to get off. We parked in the very middle of the site and avoided most of the spray. The sprinklers come on several times during the day so you might not want to leave chairs and tables out. There is not WI-FI in the RV park. WI-FI is available in the very sparse "Business Center" with only two chairs. There is a computer there for internet use and it takes up one of the two chairs. This was our second stay at the park and the front desk staff is more RV knowledgeable than during our first visit. Nice view of the mountains in the new section. We stayed nine days in the park and except for wiping off the sprinkler spray it was an enjoyable stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a relatively new park and the facilities are quite nice. It is operated in conjunction with the Best Western Motel and the RV park part is located behind the motel and so is buffered from street noise. We didn't use the shower or bathrooms, but when I looked into one it was spotless. Everything was very clean. The only negative was that we had to trek to the motel lobby every time that we wanted to use the internet and we had a lot of trouble connecting. We camped here in a Motorhome.

WIFI very inconvenient as it is only available in the motel lobby. This park is behind Best Western Motel, thus the motel guests are the priority and staff do not appear to be trained on the RV park services and features: ie which sites are daily, weekly or monthly, or currently available, or the procedure to accept US Mail. Cable not available at all sites. Many long term residents , older section's smaller sites are over-filled ie 2 or 3 vehicles plus RV or RV too big for site. Newer section though farther away from pool has very generous sites. Check sprinkler locations when parking to prevent water spots on your rig. There are trade offs for the convenient location. The new section is real nice. The phone system works thru the Motel and the service from SBC is no longer available. All calls go thru the motel board and a charge is made for each call. Lots of dust when the wind is blowing and that happens quite often. All in all a nice park except for the phone thing! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very good park. The managers and staff are very courteous and keep this park in excellent condition. All sites were large, level, pull through, gravel, and included a covered patio. This is an Escapees membership park. I think you have to be a member to camp there. The sites are all owned by individuals, which are rented out when they are gone. Great park. Very friendly. Very well organized and on top of maintenance, etc. Sites are huge and most have shaded porch area. This is a SKP cooperative park and one must be a member of Escapees to stay here. All the sites are owned by individuals and vacant sites are rented to transient travelers when the owner is elsewhere. The office is only open Monday through Friday. There are several boondocking sites near the front of the park. This is a fairly large park with unpaved roads, but dust was not an issue. The sites are quite large and all have a covered area that can be used to store bikes, etc. Everyone we met in the park was very friendly. It was a nice place to stay, but not exactly scenic. It is relatively close to Death Valley National Park. The only negative thing about the park was the Wi-Fi system which basically did not work, and there is no cable TV. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Pahrump and has nice mountain views. As we have come to expect from an Escapees park, everyone was very friendly. Since we were only staying for one night we opted to park in the dry camp area where you can stay for one night for free (after that boon docking is $5 a day with a 7 day limit). Spent four days here after leaving Las Vegas. It was our first trip to Pahrump, it will not be our last. I have been RV'ing for over 30 years and have never seen cleaner rest rooms in my life. You could literally eat off the floors in the men room that I used. The entire Resort was maintained very well. Within walking distance to the two largest casinos in Pahrump. The only reason I can't give this property a "10" is because the interior roads and RV sites are all gravel and there is very little grass to be found. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Preferred RV Resort in Pahrump, NV is a great place to stop, for the long term or the short term. We found the staff to be super friendly and helpful, the sites are gravel with concrete pads and picnic tables, and full hookups. You are close to two casinos (good food) and grocery stores, plus diesel nearby and reasonable. The park has plenty of on site stuff to keep one busy, with a wood shop and craft room, lots of good stuff. I would stop here again, anytime I happen to be in the Pahrump area with the RV. Very friendly staff at check-in. Don't need a toad to go to restaurants (buffets) and casinos, as they are just across the street, with good deals. Fast food restaurants are a couple of blocks away on the main highway. Fun outside play area for the kids. Koi fish pool has benches around it. Has wood shop. Wi-Fi is free, but very slow. I would come here again in Winter and Spring, I imagine Summers are hot, here. Has public street safe parking area for park registration. ROD park and cost was $0. Had good Sprint air card and cell phone coverage. Front gate is manned 24x7. Many of the pull through sites are quite narrow and have large trees, many with low limbs. We were in a back in site by Terrible's Casino, and they were nice and wide. No trees to interfere with rooftop satellite dish. Large dumpsters in side roads can cause some trouble backing in. Gravel roads (except main road) and sites. We had a good sized cement pad. Walking distance to Terrible's and Nugget Casinos. Road noise pretty much goes away at night. We stayed here a week. The sites were close, there were no fire pits, and it was basically a gravel parking lot with trees. The front gate was manned 24/7 and there was a nice pet walk area outside the park. We used the laundry facilities, the price was very reasonable and it was clean. A (24 hr) gated member owned park, clean, and quiet with mature shade trees, 5 mph speed limit and many nice extras like a banquet hall, year around swimming pool, pool room, etc. Check their web site for particulars. The location is probably the best in Pahrump for whatever you want in shopping or entertainment. A word about the city. Pahrump is a relatively new city. I believe that they didn't get electricity until the late fifties or early sixties yet it now has nearly 60,000 inhabitants so most all construction is recent as are the roads, schools, medical facilities, etc.. Las Vegas is just 60 miles via good roads should you need the bright lights. I haven't spent much time describing the park as others have done a good job. The land is mostly flat and good for bicycling if so inclined. We like it. The water is good as is the Parks electrical system. Management is very friendly and helpful at all levels. Came here to visit with friends with WH membership, and we use our PA discount ($17.99 with tax) which was the only reason to stay here because it's sure not worth more. Terrible's Lakeside looks a lot better at the PA rate, at least they have grass and paved roads. The gravel and dust here is awful, and no sites are level. The members got the wide lower sites, PA visitors were given the narrow but long ones in the upper side. Bathrooms were very clean, and TV antenna worked somewhat- cable would be a real bonus. There is a small pool and spa, clubhouse with nice landscaping. Lots of old people and real grumps in the front gatehouse. Plenty of other places to stay in area, so look around. Because we were required to park ahead of the red arrow, 20 ft. of sewer hose barely reached. 5th wheels had even more. I used my ROD membership to stay at this park for free. The entry/exit to the park is very narrow and the staff at check-in could have been nicer. The "park on the red line" rule is a bit odd, but seemed to work out alright even though it placed my doorstep off of the concrete pad which was broken. I was not offered to choose my own site which you can many times at membership parks and was assigned a site that was not to my liking though there are many sites that seemed to be nice at the park. Unfortunately, there are also many permanent residents at the park. At the least, people who don't appear to have moved for quite a long time. I was assigned a site with a pretty ugly view next to an older man with a rig nearly as old as he that did not appear to have any electrical power in 108 degree heat. I felt sorry for him, but he also made me feel uncomfortable there. I am sure that I could have asked for a different site without any problems. I was just passing through and it was unbearably hot, so I cut my stay short from 4 days to just 2 in hopes of reaching a nicer park. If you have a choice, the Western Horizons Charleston Peak Resort is much, much nicer to stay at, though it is farther from shops and casinos. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a good park. Check in person was not the most pleasant but all in all it was a good stay with Passport America rate. Being Pahrump, there was a lot to do in the area. This is an ownership park that seemed somewhat tired but not awful. No landscaping etc. at sites, they have made a decent attempt at dog areas, although they are not large for bigger dogs to get much exercise but at least they have tried. We would surely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Passport America rate. Last couple of reviews are nit picky. Dusty yes, it's the Southwest and dusty everywhere. We had no trouble leveling. The sites are a bit tight for big rigs though. The red line was no problem. It just pulls you past your neighbor, so it is a modified side by side hookup. We did not pull all the way up to the line, but stopped so as to keep our steps on the patio (mid entry rig). As already mentioned it is very close to casinos. Great place to stop on the way into Death Valley. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well, we stayed here with Coast to Coast, so we guess the $10 plus the $2/day surcharge for electricity was not bad. First of all, we stayed here in March and the only electricity used was to charge the batteries, which in turn ran the furnace all night with the 30 degree temperatures. Kind of wonder what they surcharge when it gets to 110 during the summer? The park is older and the spaces are TIGHT. If you and your neighbors have 1+ slides, good luck. Folks are "supposed" to pull beyond the "red lines" to ensure privacy. Few follow the rules and if you do, you will need a 20'+ sewer hose (which we have) to hook up. That being said, the rest of the park is tolerable, albeit clustered. I believe that Pahrump has a Wal-Mart. If passing through again, I would check on their accommodations prior to paying the fees for this gravel parking lot. Did I mention the constant noise from the dirt bikes/ATV's from Crawford Lane (which we fronted)? We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We planed to stay at Preferred RV through Passport America for the weekend before Thanksgiving. As we spent time in the pool and club house we met other that told us about the Thanksgiving dinner. As it is stated in Passport America park book we could stay 7 nights, we stayed for 14 at the same rate. Full hookup 50/amp & big rig friendly, Wi-Fi What a wonderful time we had as we later found that the park is a member owned park and very friendly group. The park is very close to casinos and a short walk to everything Truly a jewel in the desert. $15.00 with P.A. Yes we bypassed Vegas and we are in Parker AZ. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The rate we paid is Coast to Coast. I never asked what the daily drive up rate was. This is a winter destination park so there are activities. Within walking distance of casinos, a drug store and grocery store. Gravel streets and sites make it quite dusty. The back in sites are best because they are widest and the wind doesn't get there quite as easily as the pull thru sites. Lots of trees. Quiet. Wi-fi unreliable. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Preferred RV Resort – Pahrump, NV – Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF) This is an above average park and I would recommend it to others. It is a member’s only park, but if you have Coast 2 Coast, RPI, ROD or Passport America you’ll be able to stay. We stayed as C2C paying $8 (pts) plus $2 utility fee (cash) per night for 7 nights the second week of February 2007. The pull-thru sites are narrow with gravel parking and concrete patio with nice picnic table and small shade tree. Roads are gravel. I’d suggest asking for a space in the “lettered” rows of the park. They are wider back-in sites and have more mature trees. I think this might be where most of the home park members are placed. They have a clubhouse with daily planned activities. They have a woodshop, quilting and stained glass window classes/shop. Also, an indoor heated swimming pool and spa in the winter and outside in summer. There are many members that stay for an extended time and many travelers staying for a week or less. While we did not see any kids, this is a kid friendly park. The park has gated security. There’s no cable so satellite is necessary. Pro’s are: many activities in the park; strong WiFi signal; 50 amp service; 1 blk from two casinos; Pahrump is very senior oriented; friendly neighbors in the park; nice mountain views; mild weather this time of year, acceptably clean bathhouses; accept mail; frequent food oriented get-to-gethers and socials; Pool tournaments; card playing; not high cost like Vegas. Con’s: located in the middle of nowhere, but, Pahrump has 32,000 residents and a Supercenter Walmart ½ mile away; being in the desert it’s dusty; sites are narrow. Pahrump is a fast growing community oriented to retirement-minded people. There’s golf, small town values and sunshine. If you’re looking for local attractions, they’re really not here. Vegas is 65 miles distant and several other tourist sites are 30 or more miles away. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I planned on spending a month in Pahrump and I liked the reviews of this park so when I checked in I paid for the full month. I have stayed in this area before although not at this park. The staff was very friendly. All of the sites are pull through and I had my choice. It took a couple of tries to get far enough forward to hook up. The sites are gravel and most of them have grass. First problem - website said TV was available for a charge. I would have paid the charge but they didn't have any converters available. Second problem - the internet was terrible. If I managed to connect the signal was so slow it was worse than being on dial up. I changed sites in the morning so the internet was more reliable but still slow. The road to the park is dirt and when it rained it was very muddy. I ended up pulling out after 5 nights and I managed to get a refund but the manager was very reluctant to give it to me. If you don't care about park supplied wireless, have a satellite dish and a toad I would recommend this park but it wasn't suitable for my needs. (Part of that is my fault - I carry a scooter instead of a toad and I thought it would be warmer. I ended up driving into town several times and my rig was covered in mud by the time I left) We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you enjoy drama, and want to deal with someone who is drunk 24/7; then this is the park for you!! When you check in, you have to be here before 9 a.m. or forget it!! The bathrooms are poorly cleaned, the overall maintenance of the park is horrible. Weeds everywhere!! Some people are charged for internet--when it works, and some are not; depending how drunk she is upon check-in. You must also give your ip-address so she can track what you do online. As for "friendly", that is a misused term for this park. There are plenty of reasonable and beautiful parks in town that are more pleasant and enjoyable. Especially for long stays!! This is a great little park. No frills, no clubhouse or anything like that, but is a slow-paced, very relaxing and very well maintained park. The park is set up to handle extended-stay or long-term but also provides for over-night or short term stays. The monthly rate is excellent. They charge $350.00 per month flat-rate including electric, water and sewer in the price for a 30Amp and $375.00 per month for 50Amp. The management is very friendly and helpful. All the sites are pull-through. They have no back-in sites so it makes it very convenient. They are approximately 1-mile down the road from the 5-star Terrible's Lakeside RV Resort. It's a short drive or a nice walk to their casino and to take advantage of their nice lake. The town of Pahrump is small but has all the necessities and is a quaint and friendly town. There are a total of 6 casinos in town and a very wide variety of restaurants to include Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Filipino, BBQ, America, German and three exceptionally good buffets. I would highly recommend staying at this park. The park is clean and there are grass areas and picnic tables at every site. There are only two drawbacks, and they are of minor concern. One, is there are no shade trees and it does get HOT in the summer. Second, the swimming pool is not heated so it is only available during the summer months. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I spent a week here and the sites were very large and level with all fresh gravel throughout the park. Nice picnic tables and each site has green grass growing beside it. A welcome site in this dry area. The owner is in the process of building another laundry and shower facility. This is a very clean and well kept park with ongoing improvements. The swimming pool was closed while I was there. Terribles Lakeside Casino is about a mile down the road. I enjoyed my stay here very much and will come back here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an asphalt parking lot with full hookups in the middle of downtown Pahrump (in this part of the world, spaces are going to be gravel, dirt, concrete or asphalt; lawn and tree county it ain’t). The RV Park is about a hundred yards away from the casino. The lot slopes for drainage, so be sure to carry 2-3” of leveling blocks. Select your space carefully (the host can help) if you want your front door closer to the ground, rather than higher. There is some landscaping and lamp posts around the perimeter, and the restrooms/laundry room, an ice machine in the laundry room, and a sand dog walk area with a bag dispenser. The spaces are big enough for a big rig plus ample parking for the tow vehicle or the toad. There is a full-time host onsite, and I never saw any part of the facility dirty or unsightly. The spotless restrooms are among the best we've seen for availability, cleanliness, and maintenance; they are cleaned in the middle of the night, so you are unlikely to encounter any “down time” if you are on a schedule. The Wi-Fi is superb, simple, fast, dependable, and free. The guests are quiet and courteous, and we noticed very little road noise, although helicopters sometimes fly over after dark but before about 9:30 PM. The town in general seems friendly, with reasonable prices (gas here was nearly a dollar less than over the border in California). If your interests run to the out-of doors, Pahrump is pretty centrally located to reach most of Death Valley, Ash Meadows, several sand dunes areas, Red Rock Park, Las Vegas, and a ghost town on day trips. The rates were $25/night, or $152/week (or $375/month, and there are some long-stay residents). I can only rate this park as a nine compared with some parks in more glamorous areas, but I'd give it a ten for western Nevada and eastern California parks. Although we don’t typically stay in parking-lot type sites, or in the middle of towns, this will definitely be our first choice when we come again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The rate we paid was by the month, $325 including all utilities. The internet was not the fastest that I've ever seen, but adequate. It has the cleanest restrooms and showers that I have ever seen. After looking it up and seeing all "asphalt", I was pleasantly surprised. Immaculate grounds, quiet at night, the only negative was when I paid to have my RV washed (by a completely self-contained outfit, including their own water), the Saddle West charged me an additional $12.00 for allowing me to have my RV pressure washed. Other than that there were no negative experiences. We camped here for a month waiting for our home to close escrow. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. It is completely paved and the sites are side by side for hook-ups. With a players club card, it costs only $15 a night. We didn't mind the blacktop camping in November when the weather was pleasant: summer would be awful. The whole park is sloped and nothing is remotely level. We got stuck in a back-in site on the far perimeter, far away from the bathrooms and shower house, and next to the busy highway. Park was full every night so call ahead. Popular overnight stop with the cheapest rate in town for cable sites. But they did not honor the Escapees 15% discount even though they are listed in the Travel Guide. (This was reported to SKP office.) There are many other, better parks in town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The $5 nightly rate is misleading. We used a coupon we got at the Quartzsite RV Show giving us 4 nights for $18. I think the regular nightly rate is about $20. This is really a paved parking lot, but is kept very clean and well maintained. The sites are wide enough, but most have side by side hookups making you very close to your neighbor. Like water to a thirsty desert traveler, this place was a sight for sore eyes. Beautiful on all fronts, it was immaculate and the staff was friendly. Level, well paved sites with BBQ, fridge and stove top on each site with little gazebos to sit in. Lighting was wonderful and best of all: a security guard was present. Yes, it had a few roaches that came out at night on the grounds but these kept our dog busy who wore himself out. This is outdoor living and we don't expect it to be bug free. We recommend this place to anyone coming through the area! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are here as we speak. It is a beautiful RV park. Prossibly one of the nicest I've been to. Pool is nice, restrooms are great and everyone is so friendly. They escort you to your spot and procede to help you park and hook up everything. That was a first. Could have a 10 except fot the problem that was noted last year about the BUGS. I asked about that and the office girl said that was from the previous owners. Well, maybe it comes with the territory but once the sun went down, out they came. Huge spiders and big water like roaches. Absolutely disgusting. I'm sure they can't help it, but we're leaving only after one night because I'm scared of taking some home with us. If they could fix that problem it'd totally be a 10. But until then, I think I'm even being generous. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a 5-star RV resort that has apparently changed ownership recently. Check-in was quick and easy and they provided a guide to the site. All sites are paved and landscaped beautifully. Our premium site was double size and included a stainless steel BBQ and a gazebo. The clubhouse is gorgeous with bowling alley, bar, large fitness center, and showers inside the resort-style dressing areas with jacuzzi, sauna, massage room, etc. The pool area outside was very nice with waterfalls, etc. Their Wi-Fi worked great. Somebody spent millions to develop this resort! The only thing unusual about this resort was that it was only about 10% full -- perhaps because it is at the far north end of Pahrump and about 9 miles to city center. We paid $30 with our Passport America membership and for the amenities, it was a good deal. It's a great place to base for easy 1 hour trips to Death Valley. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park looks good at check in, however, it was a NIGHTMARE. First, we were 'forced' to take an expensive end site @ $43 a night even though the place only had about 12 of the 200+ sites filled, and I requested a cheaper site. Then, no cable tv and almost no reception on the local 5 channels. We had to go to the bar/bowling alley to watch our shows and the noise level from the 6 lanes drowned out the tv. But to top off our night of horror, when we left the clubhouse/bar/bowling alley/swimming pool area, we were confronted with cockroaches galore. All the way back to our campsite they were everywhere. Our campsite as, well, was INFESTED with COCKROACHES. I barely made it through the night. The staff did refund our money from the 5 night stay we had prepaid. Frankly, I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this in these reviews. I will NEVER stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This really should be rated a "10" park but too many things went wrong during our one night. We called ahead and asked about tv reception and were told they had "local" stations. This website also showed cable tv, but that's in error. It happened to be a night when we really wanted to see some particular shows, but didn't realize til we got hooked up that there was no cable and the local stations were just that, from puny Pahrump and no nat'l networks. We also asked for a site near the showers and laundry; no such luck. By then the office had closed. The front desk people were somewhat inept and disinterested, but the other staff were very friendly. The sites are short for big rigs, and the sewer dump was too low in the ground. But in the main building, you find a wonderful fitness room and spa, bowling lanes and food, perfect showers, plus stunning outdoor pools and a jacuzzi, with RO water. landscaping is gorgeous but the sites are totally paved which gets pretty hot. The Passport America deal is great at $14 for the summer rate; some sites are $50 before discount. Too bad KOA bought this park; they will ruin it for sure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an upscale RV resort with many amenities. We found it using our campclub membership at $14.00 a night. When we checked in they told us the resort changed over to KOA twelve days ago. Using our KOA card we received $3.50 discount for $35.00 a night. Overall $35.00 was well worth the stay; we even stayed an extra night. Very nice park with a few problems. First, the price is way out of line based on it's main competition across town at Terribles. If you get a $30 site here, you are basically getting a tiny piece of the parking lot with hookups. The nice corner sites are much nicer, but for my family, they cost $55 per night because I have two kids and only one of them is free. $10 per day for my second child. The security is a nice feature, and as stated, the workout facility is great. I agree with others that the sites are pretty tight, especially if you are in a 40 footer. They now only accept passport for one night, and based on their affiliation with KOA, may be dropping it all together in an effort to get you to buy the KOA card. My family gets to Pahrump about 6 times per year for a three day weekend. Dessert Retreat needs to get some sort of package put together for repeat customers that puts them a bit more in line with the competition. I agree with the last review that water pressure is the best I have ever seen, and in two previous visits, I have not had any power issues. From what I have seen in the past two visits, and in discussions with employees, the turnover of employees is very high. On our last visit, the managers from the KOA in Vegas were there helping out, as the entire receptionist crew was brand new and had no idea how to run the computers making check in terrible. (check in on the first visit was seamless) A nice place to visit, and the monthly rates don't seem too bad, but if you are a family that likes to get out quite often, I feel it is over priced compared to the competition. This park is now called KOA Desert Retreat. They still advertise sites for sale but I doubt anyone is buying. The park is beautiful, the fitness center is great. There are automatic gates at the entrance and you are given a card to activate the gates and the entrance to the fitness center. The water pressure is excellent - over 100psi. The sites are all paved with a concrete pad for the RV and asphalt for your car with a concrete patio behind the car. Some sites have more amenities such as a gazebo or built in Bar-Q for a higher fee. the Wi-Fi worked fairly well. We observed fluctuating voltage on the electricity and sometimes our coach would automatically disconnect due to low voltage. There was a rally in the park while we were there so there were a lot of 50 amp motorhomes. The sites are so short that our 40 foot would barely fit, and all of the RV's over 40 were parked at an angle and still stuck out into the streets which are about only half as wide as they should be. It's very tight getting in and out. It was very comfortable staying in the park but it is about 7 miles north of Pahrump. There are not a lot of restaurants in Pahrump and the casinos are very smoky. We ate at Wulfy's in the Station casino which was nonsmoking. This is a good place to stay for a side trip to Death Valley and Mt Charleston, and Las Vegas is only about an hour drive. With dirt so cheap in the desert, it's too bad they didn't make the streets wider and the sites longer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We went to Death Valley National Park and wanted to camp there but everything was full so we went up to Pahrump, Oh yeah, this campground is some fine place. They have a luxury area for dogs too with a fire hydrant they can use which you can then activate a water fall to flush it all away. Talk about luxury, and for dirt cheap, we are sure glad we didn't camp in the dusty old campgrounds at the park. This place is newish, not too many folks yet but there will be. This is an above average RV Resort with great amenities. We used our Passport America membership to get a great rate. The workout room has first rate equipment along with lockers, showers, sauna, hot tub, and steam room. All of this included in your nightly rental rate. The sites are wide and everything is paved. I do question the layout though as we had to change sites so that we could extend all of our slides. And the space was just long enough for our 40' motor home. There are longer sites available. This Resort has all of their sites available for purchase with prices ranging from about $90K to $250K. I understand the monthly HOA is $212. This is way overpriced for what you get. There is not even enough room to build a storage unit or a FL type room. One could do better by buying an acre lot in Pahrump and moving the RV onto the lot! We camped here in a Motorhome.

I hardly ever give a "10" rating, but there was no "9.5" so here is one. The place is beautiful; fully landscaped with pools, waterfalls, dry and wet saunas. On the 202 sites, there were only 15 RVs...total. We almost had one 40 site street to ourselves. The park is 6 or so miles away from the downtown Pahrump area. It was quiet and peaceful. Detractions: The receptionist is flakey, and the design of the campground leaves you wondering sometimes. The sites barely held my 38' motorhome, but were wide. For the money, it is hard to beat (it is a Passport America campground). Definitely would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is quite a place! In a year on the road, we've not seen anything like it. All is very new, modern, clean, and luxurious. Lush landscaping abounds, and some sites have shady little gazebos and modern gas grills. The gym is amazing -- huge, complete, and with saunas & spas. The outdoor pool area is huge with a big pool and spa; a waterfall drops into the pool, with new high-quality patio furniture. The laundry is likewise huge, clean, and new. The clubhouse includes a 6-lane bowling alley, and there is a putting green nearby. A restaurant is under construction. Lots are for sale and the amenities are geared toward full-time (or seasonal) residents who will live here. It's an amazing place, and a must-visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Class A resort only; very nice with 2 outdoor pools (with a waterfall); outdoor jacuzzi; complete gym; indoor men's/women's jacuzzi, water spa, sauna. Still being built up; very clean; courteous staff; while kids are OK it seems to be primarily an adult oriented high-end resort type of setting. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects Passport America rate. Almost all the remodel is complete. The new pool, laundry and showers are open and very clean. The pickleball courts are open. There were cards, games, etc. being offered in the clubhouse. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are gravel with patio area, rate was weekly- public rate. New lap pool. Would be a 10 with grass and larger trees, but it is desert. New owners are spending bucks to upgrade landscaping. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Maybe bad timing as we arrived when the jack hammers were breaking up the concrete on their remodeling projects. Been going on over 6 months. Few if any amenities were available as everything is still under construction. However the cost rate was good. The trailer camping area reminded me of an outside movie theater covered with white rocks. Trees are very small with little shade. Comfort rating reduced another 10% because of the noise of race cars coming from a training track about a mile away. Management told me that it was a very "high class" race track. I didn`t care. I just didn`t like the noise. A little overrated for now. Maybe in 6 months it might be good but there are so many better places to go in Pahrump. We stayed 3 days. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place gets a 10 not only for what it is now, but for what it will become. This is a former membership only park that is now under new ownership. This was a great place before, but they are now renovating everything. All sites have been upgraded to 50 amp service, each is level and has a cement patio. They are building a new pool (in addition to the existing one) and adding a fitness center along with a brand new bathroom and laundry facility. Now for the best part, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, it is extremely quiet here because it is just far enough away from the center of town to be away from the city noise, incredible views of Charleston Peak and the Spring Mountains from every site, an on-site RV wash, and unbelievably low prices! There is also a winery and an incredible tasting room along with a first class restaurant here too. In my opinion, this is the best RV Park in Pahrump offering the best value I seen in a long time We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park that used to be a membership park and is now open to the public. They are very accommodating in the office and it is a very good atmosphere. The park is under significant renovation with a new pool under construction. The WiFi and cell service was good. They have a winery next door where you can taste wine, and there is also a nice restaurant. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is under new ownership and there are many improvements in progress. Sites are spacious and level, campground is clean and attractive. Roads are paved, gravel sites with concrete patios. Water, power, and sewer were all good, although all are at the back of the site. All sites are back-in, pull-throughs to be available soon. Fitness room to come, not here yet. On-site restaurant is very good, and the associated winery has many award-winning wines. There will be a heliport! This campground is wonderfully quiet at night, and there are lots of stars in the sky including those of the Milky Way. We would absolutely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park -- clean, well manicured with gravel and a few desert plants. Hosts were very friendly and helpful upon check-in. Sites are all gravel with concrete patio pads and quite large. The pool and hot tub were clean and well taken care of. The attached winery is quite nice and has complimentary tastings. Rate reflects ROD rate. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflect RPI. This is a very nice park - clean, sites are long, graveled, and each site has a concrete pad to use as a patio. There are activities, the staff is extremely friendly, there’s a swimming pool & hot tub, clubhouse with the typical book exchange, games & puzzles, horseshoes, RV wash, small dog area, the usual. There’s also a winery and restaurant. Used to be Western Horizons, but went bankrupt and now bank-owned & looking for a buyer. Tengo net for Wi-Fi ($2/day.) Verizon coverage (phone & data) is very good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful RV Resort, excellent desert landscaping, breath taking views of the surrounding mountains. Yes, you don't have shade here and June is finally here with warming temps. I would rate this park easily with a 10, however the Wi-Fi was not free. We stayed here 11 days with ROD. Will stay here again, it's on our list. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice CG. Beautiful. Lack of shade will go away in 3 to 4 years as the trees get bigger. Pool clean and perfect temperature. Laundry very nice. Beautiful clubhouse. Probably the 3rd time we have stayed here. Have tried the other couple of parks that have relatively high ratings, but we prefer this resort. Well laid out, gated, winery and restaurant (best in town!) on site. Staff is friendly, pet friendly. No cable TV, but several off air stations and good satellite and cell service. Possibly would have given a 10, except for the fact that they charge for WiFi. Although we have our own 4g access, we feel that all higher end parks should provide at no charge. Our rate is the Coast to Coast charge. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park and the winery is a nice touch. However as of this date there is NO Cable TV, as per the office staff. Local TV comes from Las Vegas and Pahrump. Definitely plan to return when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For Western Horizons, this must be one of their best parks, considering it's not run down and outdated. Beautiful view of mountains, nice little clubhouse and pool, which was closed, and the spa was broken. Laundry room is strangely tiny, showers are nice but not cleaned over the weekend. Nothing nearby except for the winery, need a car for town or anything else. Too much rock, no place to really walk dogs except on the streets. People were mostly friendly, quiet (an older set). We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with good view of snow capped Charleston Peak. Has paved roads and level gravel sites, very roomy and peaceful CG. Sprint air card and cell phones worked well. Park will accept mail. No tall trees to interfere with a rooftop satellite dish. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate reflects the Coast to Coast rate of $10, plus $3/day for 50 amp service. When we arrived, there was only one 50 amp site left, although the park was probably only about half full. This is a very nice park in the desert at the east end of Pahrump. The sites are white gravel, with a small cement pad. The cement pads are small, for some mid- and rear-entry RVs it is not possible have the pad at your doorstep AND make it an easy reach to power, water, and sewer. The interior roads are paved and wide. The laundry has only four washers and four dryers, with almost no place to fold clothes and no place to park near the laundry entrance. The 50 amp power was excellent--the voltage didn't drop under load. There was good Verizon voice and data signal. All sites are back-ins. Sites that face SW have a good view of the valley over the roofs of other rigs. There is a large designated dog area and a small fenced "run", but the park has unlimited desert on two sides for letting the dogs run. We didn't try the fee-based WiFi. The park is hard to find. From Hwy 160, turn north on Homestead (there is a Shell station on the corner). The road name immediately changes to Winery Rd. Follow it through the residential area almost to the end. The winery and RV park are on the left. You will see a small "RV Entrance" sign on the left just before the winery entrance. We had a great lunch with excellent wines at the winery. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate is for Coast to Coast. Very friendly staff. Very well maintained and clean. Club house is one of the nicest we ever seen. Bathrooms where super. They could use some better sign at the entrance. Paved roads and good very level gravel sites. About the only thing missing is paved sites and free Wi-Fi at the sites. There is free Wi-Fi in the clubhouse. A great place to run the dogs in the back of the park. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Coast to Coast rate. It is very well maintained, friendly staff, best restaurant in the town on-site at the winery. Minor complaints would be the very spotty, on again, off again WiFi at $2.00 extra per day...not bad if it worked. It appears to have cable hookups, however, the cable company has not run the line. Good off-air reception, though. Depending upon the location of your water and waste water hookups, you will need VERY long lines. On our newer 5th wheel, when we aligned the door with the cement patio, we required 35' of sewer line, and 30' of fresh water hose. The service hookups are very far back. Luckily we carry extensions for water, sewer and electric. We have pets and were placed towards the rear of the park. Actually that is a bonus, as you get unobstructed mountain views and a great pet walk area. The entire park is well removed from any highway noise and very tranquil! Minor annoyances aside, this park would be a 9 to 10 any day of the week! We camped here in a Motorhome.

There could have been better signs along the road to get to the entrance. The actual entrance is not easily visible from the road. The park was very clean and well laid out. The staff was friendly and helpful. Club house was very nice. The office hours were very limited. We had cell service and Dish service. Wi-Fi was available for a price. No cable TV. Spots are all back-in and on gravel with small patio pad. The roads are all blacktop. Park seems to be geared to 55-plus. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 4 nights on a freebie providing we attended a Western Horizons sales pitch. Park is quite nice but not as high-end as they try to make it out to be. Cable TV is not available at the park yet. Laundry was especially small & dryers were useless. Also seemed to be having a lot of problems in the bathroom area. The Western Horizons sales presentation was horrible!!!! The representative we initially worked with was mumbling & stumbling a lot of verbage about how great the resorts were & the greatness of the CEO, yet he couldn't or wouldn't directly answer any questions we posed. Not sure if this guy could sell water to a person dying from thirst. THEN, after this hour & 20 minute debacle we were turned over to the CLOSER. After we said we wouldn't, at this time, sign up for the deal, he got real huffy & said that we are banned from coming to this park for the next 2 years. I must say that the antics of these 2 reps had only value for entertainment purposes. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been to many campgrounds all over America and we have seen some nice ones. However, this must be the best facilities that we have seen. On site winery and top class restaurant, best shower facilities and best club house. Pool was unfortunately closed since this is February but this also looked first class. Clean everywhere and friendly staff. For the first time we saw a dedicated RV washing facility with all you need of high pressure jets and brooms (we wish more campgrounds would do this). If we have to pick out anything that was missing, it has to be an outside bench for each site. If you want to see a first class operation go and see this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here through our ROD membership. (Resorts of Distinction) There was no nightly charge through ROD. The park has all back in sites with full hook ups including 50 Amp service. The streets are paved and the sites are level. Be aware, there is no shade at this park. But great for satellite service. A nice pool that’s open during the warmer weather. There is an RV wash area with power brushes and nozzles. There is a cost for this. There is a member clubhouse. They run member generated games through out the week. Also on site is the winery. Wine tasting was free. First time we saw that. There’s usually a charge for that. Also at the winery is a first class restaurant. The food was excellent. Higher priced then a national steakhouse chain, but worth it. Pahrump is a small dessert town and is growing. There are several casinos in town. We enjoyed the Nugget. But, they’ll all take your money. A reasonable grocery store and the even have a Lowe’s Home Improvement store. We enjoyed our 2 weeks there and are looking forward to returning. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here with our C2C membership for a week and then extended for a couple of days at the regular rate. They honor other club memberships also but not directly following each other. This is a beautifully kept, wide open park in the high desert about an hour from Las Vegas. If you don't want to make the trip into Las Vegas there are four decent casinos in town. Check out the buffets - especially on 2 for 1 nights. What a bargain! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Ditto to previous reviews; can't get much better than this. We stayed on a Resorts of Distinction reservation. The $1/day fee was for TengoInternet Wi-Fi service which was very good. Cable is not available as the commercial service has not reached the park yet. They are wired for it so it's just a matter of time. We will definitely stay here again. One of the nicest parks we have stayed in with some of the greatest work kampers. Stayed here ( two weeks) on our ROD membership. Fantastic views of mountains a wee warm in July but with 50 amp we kept are cool. We actually won at the casinos and had great inexpensive meals. The winery has some good wines to taste, and a 5 star restaurant. Level sites but no picnic tables? We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in our 40' motorhome, using our Western Horizon membership. WH electrical rates are based on length of RV. We had a nice site that had a patio, free Wi-Fi. Weeds could be killed, but otherwise very nice with gravel. Personnel are very friendly and helpful. We will be back soon. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel with plenty of room. All of the sites are back-ins, but they are correctly angled. Views are of the mountains or the town. You do not feel crowded because the sites are terraced and staggered. They do charge for WiFi and we paid $1 a day for 50 amp. We stayed here through our affiliation with ROD. There are three helicopter pads for emergencies and tours from Las Vegas to visit the winery and restaurant, etc. The pool and spa are clean and attractive as is the club house and all of the amenities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a new Western Horizon Park. It is located at the Charleston Peak Winery. The park was built in 2003 so all facilities are new. All sites will hold a big rig and all have a concrete patio with car parking next to your rig. The restaurant at the winery is a 5 star restaurant. They have pads for helicopters to land when they fly in from Vegas. There is wine tasting every day and you can get personalized labels on wine bottles purchased there. They have a large area to wash your rig. Wi-fi is available for $. The staff hosts several pot luck meals during the week. They also have several activities every week. A well run park. Pahrump has a few casino's with decent restaurants and a WalMart. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a Membership park. It is a new park with large back in sites. Clean washrooms and showers. Little shade due to new small trees. Friendly staff, and daily activities. An excellent park, for an overnight or monthly stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
