We stayed here again this year while visiting relatives in the area and enjoyed it as much as last year. Owners are very friendly and helpful; campground is clean and neat, sites are grassy and level. There is no sewer but honey-dipper comes around twice a week for a very reasonable fee. There is a dump station for when you leave. They've expanded the campground into the upper field this year and those sites are nice. You're a bit further from the office and playground and there are no trees there yet but it's like a separate, private campground. Really rather nice. The tent sites here are nice and private, tucked away in little coves. It almost makes me want to go back to tenting! They've added 2 geocache hides here this year so if you're into that, ask at the office. One is part of the CONY promotion and so far, isn't listed on the geocache website. The other one is. There are many other caches within 10 miles so you could keep busy for quite awhile. We will be back next year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We reserved a site at this campground without the benefit of previous reviews and we lucked out. The pull through sites in the front are decently level with a table, fire ring and one or two trees on each site. It appears 2/3 of the campsites are seasonal but they're neat and well kept. Very nice walking trails throughout the campground with several leading to a golf course (don't know the size). Golf clubs for rent in the office. Restrooms are showing their age but they are very clean as is the laundry. Small playground for children (swings & slide); game room with video games; small store with camping basics and groceries; rec room and pavilion. There's a small dirt race track directly across the street that has races on Saturday evenings. Honey dipper comes through 2x a week and there is an RV repair shop in Caledonia that offers mobile repair services. We would definitely camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
