Being a new park everything is new. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They have a small store of sorts, and some activities for children. There is fishing and a paddle boat. While we liked it, the size of the sites were a little small and they are unmarked which caused our neighbor (a seasonal), to encroach upon our site with their slides and miscellaneous items they kept behind their trailer facing our site. Picnic tables were scarce as were the fire rings. We had to pull them over from an empty site. The sewer connection was higher than our trailer discharge, so we could not use it. The dump station was on a hill and off camber in the wrong direction preventing the tanks from completely emptying. The roads were unpaved and very dusty. Even though we are very close by, we probably will not go back there unless the next phase is designed better. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
It's nice to see a new park designed by real RVers. Great sites, beautiful setting, friendly staff, awesome golf course & lots to do nearby. I'd rate it as one of the top parks we ever stayed in. We've been full timing for 5+ years. Already booked a site for next years trip. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
New campground that just opened up In June 2008. If you want to RV & Golf, this is your place. You can pick up your golf cart right at the office and take a short ride up to the golf house to Tee Off. Nice regulation course. There is a small pond/lake that is catch and release and we caught Bass and Northern Pike. Sites are level and big rig friendly. Being this is a new park, everything is new. The 51 sites is phase one of three. Staff is very friendly and aim to please. We will come and stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
