My family had a decent stay here at this campground. Nothing in particular was wrong with the campground, it was just that this campground is located very close to a main road so there is a lot of noise from the traffic. We also did not find it to be as much fun as some of the other parks that we have visited. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The campground is conveniently located between exits 19 and 20 off I87 on route 9. Large sites. The interior roads are dirt as are the campsite pads. This is an older campground with plenty of trees. Larger rigs would probably wish to stay up front in the grassy field. We did see some large fifth wheels and large motorhomes in the treed sites but they were carefully maneuvering through the trees. The campground is within walking distance of the Six Flags Great Escape Amusement Park. (1/2 mile.) Also, there is outlet shopping nearby as well as restaurants and a Walmart. The downside to the campground is the road noise from the interstate. You can see the cars and trucks through the trees. Also, the 30 amp electrical is weak and the power browned out as well as cut out several times over the weekend. We camped here in a Motorhome.
