Tips from campers about Ross, ND

  • RichRob Newfound lake has a state park (Wellington) with a beach. Admission is $5/person. Facilities were clean, and the lake is a pleasure to use. There are many NH sites that are within a short distance from the campground. Also, many restaurants, of varying types, also not far from campground. If visiting restaurants is something you like to do, be aware that several are closed on Monday and Tuesday.
  • Flying RVers The Smith Millennium Bridge in Plymouth is worth a visit. It was a historic covered bridge that had burned in 1993 and had been rebuilt and opened in 2001. The bridge is almost all wood and is quite impressive. Meredith, NH is just a short drive away. It is a lovely town right on the edge of Lake Winnipesaukee with a sculpture walk with thirty-two sculptures on the walk.
  • Pammac36 Close to all the main Lake Winnipesauke towns. Lots to do.
