This is a great place to stay when attending an event at Lifeway's Ridgecrest Conference Center. It is quiet and well cared for, mostly by volunteers who are there helping at the conference center and staying at the campground. You would be hard pressed to find nicer, more helpful campground hosts. If you are not in real good shape, you will need a car to get back and forth to the conference center. The road between is a public road (not very busy) and is VERY hilly. Up and over the interstate then down to the bottom of the center then back up to any of the facilities. The laundry is small (two pairs) but free. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is apparently part of the Ridgcrest/Lifeway Christian Conference Center. Directy across I-40 from the Conference Center, it is convenient for attendees of conferences across the expressway. Although a little "rustic", the campground did provide water, electricity, and sewer and is about the closest campground to the conference center. The comfort stations, although old, were clean and functional. Many of the individual sites had concrete pads and were adequately level. The campground is immediately adjacent to the expressway, to there is a little traffic noise. A very good alternative to campgrounds in Swanonna and Old Fort for those attending the conference center. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
