This campground is a reasonably priced, easy off, easy on, Interstate stop over. I would not recommend this as a destination RV Park. Cable TV is an extra $4/night, but the TV service is was excellent as was the free WiFi. The voltage was low (105-V) in the morning when all the overnighters were using power. I had to turn my refrigerator and water heater on gas. Security in an unknown quantity as this campground is not in the best of neighborhoods. However, there are lots of bright lights. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Well, you can't beat the price. All I needed was electric and water hook-ups, plus a reasonably level site, and that's what I got. Nothing fancy, but it was handy. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Right off of I-95 Exit 173 behind the Interstate Inn, check in at the hotel office. Long level sites behind the hotel, clean bathhouse, free WiFi, cable (extra), and a lot of restaurants in the area. A great overnight spot since there are very few campgrounds in this area. We would stay here again. (Five years of full timing) We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice campground. We would give this a much higher rating when they get more things built. It is a newer campground and they are not finished yet. There wasn't a laundry and the cable was snowy but the park is laid out nice with lots of room to maneuver and park. Most of the sites are pull through and some are paved. The paved sites do not have cable as of yet. A pool and clubhouse are planned. It is very convenient to I-95 but not too close for noise to be a problem. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a great new park that will continue to suffer some growing pains for the near future as it is very new and everything looks it. Some new additions have been made as some sites are now wired for cable TV. All the amenities that are there are fine and highly functional, but I did find the showers/bathrooms quite tight. In a few years the trees and shrubs will grow up and make it a cozy place, but for now it is still an excellent stopover that offers as much peace and tranquility as can be gotten within earshot of I-95. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a very nice and very new RV park. The owner operates the office and is very pleasant. Some of the sites are paved and some are gravel. The gravel site we stayed on was very level and they have just completed installing cable on the last two rows in the park. They have Wi-Fi, and it worked great. Unlike a lot of parks that advertise having Wi-Fi but when you get there it's not working. True the pool isn't installed as of yet but one is planned. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
As many have said, for a new CG, it's nice in the respect that everyone is courteous. The free Wi-Fi is nice, but there should also be cable since there's not much else going for it since there is no pool. Seems I've heard from other posts the pool is supposed to be built this year? If so, they better hurry. We stayed one night going south and hit it again going back home. They're going to have to come up with some attractions on a regular basis - the musical attractions at the local hall aren't filling the CG, that's for sure. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed here 1 night traveling South to Florida. We were pleasantly surprised. Even though the campground is new and many of the facilities have not been completed (rec. area, pool, playground) the campground was very clean. Each site had a brand new picnic table, many of the sites are fully paved, some have fire rings, and there is a wonderful hot tub you can use. The camp is filled with lovely pavilions and gazebos with tables where you can enjoy your stay. The bathrooms were very clean (but only 1 each) and the man at the front desk was very friendly. Great place to stay if you're passing through. I think it will be lovely when it is completed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
New campground, owners are most pleasant. Open field, gravel site. Nothing to do as there is no pool or activities available. No shade or views. I am sure things will change as they progress. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed overnight while passing through. This place is a work in progress...if/when they get finished it should be good but it's at an exit with not much around. The sites seem a bit small for a "resort", there are no trees/shade so it was hot. The young man managing the place was very nice and helpful, but no pool, no rec room, not much completed so it's got a ways to go to be a resort. We would stay again if passing through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Everything was brand new, clean, and spotless. There was only one bathroom/shower in the corner, but, since we stayed in a motorhome, no problem for us. No pool, but the hot tub was awesome!!! Park was convenient to the highway but far enough away so there was little or no highway noise. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is relatively new and rather large. It is easily reached from I95 but far enough away not to have highway noise. You can hear train whistles on occasion but the noise was acceptable. The sites are long pull throughs and there is no need to disconnect. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. This is a very good park for an overnight stay if you are travelling I95. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is perfect for an overnight stay while traveling on I-95. The guy in the office was very friendly. The sites are level and long enough for our 35 foot motorhome and dinghy without unhooking. There is a large fenced dog yard. Access from the interstate is good, but it is far enough from the highway so there is no traffic noise. Wifi is free and works great. The only negative is the lack of cable TV. Antenna reception is very marginal with only a few fuzzy stations available. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to and from Florida. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We found this campground to be absolutely perfect in every way! I gave it a 9 because they do not currently have a pool. It's in a perfect location for easy on/off expressway. Owner very pleasant and ready to please! Facilities are new and in perfect condition! We travel with three dogs and there was plenty of walking area. The place was not busy when we were there and we got to pick our own site. We camped here in a motorhome. Plenty of room for a big rig!! Will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
My rating based on this being an "overnight stay" type of park. It's near the highway, easy in/out, all pull throughs. It's very clean. But, if you're staying here for a weeekend, take heed. Park is only a year old. Many of the features, like a pool and clubhouse have not been built yet. To be fair, the landscaping is new (no mature trees, etc.) but there is grass/shrubbery making for no mud. Also, note that since most people are overnighters, this place gets a lot of traffic at 6pm and at 8:30am with people coming and going. Was expensive tho, being that there were no features above. Only one real negative no matter how long you stay: bathhouse is in the corner and is far away from the overnight sites. When you check in, you may want to state a preference of where to be. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The campground is behind Carolina Crossroads Theater right off I-95 at exit 171. This is a fairly new campground, only open 14 months. They are still in the process of building the club house and pool, so there is only 1 bathroom way in the back and no washer/dryers yet. There are 2 different kind of sites, Deluxe, which is a pull thru with cement pad and blacktop runways, sites are fairly level too. Regular site is all gravel with a cement pad for the picnic table. All the shrubs are small, so there is no shade at all. Water, electric & sewer are good, but no cable, but free WIFI. TV reception is poor to marginal, even with digital, only 1 or 2 prime channels come in good. We would come back without a second thought. This Campground is a Passport America and Good Sam member. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stopped here for an overnight headed south. A great deal for those headed south. Very easy in/out off I-95, very nice, level pull through sites. The campground is new, thus landscaping is incomplete and shrubs/trees are immature. The park is very well laid out, and the manager is helpful and friendly. This is certainly a spot we'd stop again and stay awhile. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Finally a park that understands RVers. Our rate was Passport America rate. Easy access for all types of RVs. All pull throughs.. LEVEL, LEVEL , LEVEL..... The best we have found yet, no need for blocks. They had 3 rates.. Normal rate of $27.. Snowbird one night $25 and $15 rate for water, sewer and Wi-Fi. Why would you camp at Wal-Mart when for $15 you get so much more. Easier access, no noise, fast strong Wi-Fi and safety. Will be back again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice, new park off Interstate 95. Roads are excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was paved. There are several gazebos in the park which provide nice places to relax in the shade as the trees are not big enough to provide shade. This is a great overnight stop. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a new park. It is well laid out, and all sites are pull throughs. Grass, bushes, and trees have been newly planted and are struggling, but being cared for. A pool and clubhouse are proposed but not yet constructed. The campground was very clean, and staff were welcoming and helpful. The park has potential, and makes a fine overnight stop. We paid the Good Sam rate. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We made a round trip to Florida this month and stayed here on both legs, found the pull-thru overnight sites level. On the way down we didn't pull in till after midnight they had late check-in and easy to find overnight sites. This campground is very new, very clean and very close to I-95 but far enough away not to hear the traffic noise. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a new campground with some facilities still under construction. I think, a little over priced for the current amenities provided. At the time we stayed, there was no laundry, no pool and unisex bathrooms. The sites are mostly long, level, straight gravel pull throughs with a picnic table on a concrete pad. The gravel access roads are wide enough to make access easy. The WIFI worked well at our site in the middle of the park. Landscaping is grass and low shrubs, no trees for shade. The park is convenient to I-95, but far enough that there is no highway noise. It is located near a entertainment complex used for concerts and other activities. The owner/operators are friendly and helpful. This park will only get better as the facilities are completed. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This new Resort opened in Jan. 2008. The Snowbird rate was $25 per night. The Resort has all pull-thur sites. A club-house, pool, open shelter and cabins are to be added to the Resort in near future. It is located about a 1/2 mile from I-95 and exit 171. We will stay here again. This place will only get better. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
