This is definitely not a destination park, but was sufficient for an overnight stay. The owners were great. The park amenities are older but the showers were adequate. There are a lot of RVs permanently parked here that are used by fishermen who come to the area. The peaceful serenity of the park is it's greatest feature. We would stay here again but only overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We arrived after a Tropical Storm, so the pool had been closed for the season, which was upsetting, but the pool looked to be well maintained. The tap water has a strange odor! Bring your own! Short walk to a canal with access to the Intercoastal Waterway. There is a boat ramp on site. And storage for boats away from your site. Many of the sites appear to be used by long term campers, with many up on blocks. The "office" has a pool table and a couple of older video games, as well as a camp store with a few staples and fishing gear. There is also a fish cleaning site near the boat ramp. Mosquitoes!! Locals refer to the area as "Skitter Creek", so bring repellent! Owners Mr. & Mrs. Nelson are very nice, and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
