We got satellite TV but had no Verizon cell or broadband for our computer. The comfort station was old but clean. As one of the other reviews stated, there was construction on the road inside the park and it was very dusty and they closed off some of it for 2 days, so check with the Visitor's Center first. The sites are very spacious and nicely paved and level. We also were greeted by 2 huge bison as we checked in! And the next morning we woke up to 8 more including 2 babies that were grazing all around our motor home which was quite cool. This is a great DRY camping spot. The only reason we gave it an 8 was there were very few water spigots to get water. We enjoyed this campground and would camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Camp fee reflects Golden Age discount. We were greeted at the entrance station by about 20 Bison who took their time crossing the road. The Park Service is repairing the road inside the park and it was VERY dusty. Our intent was to stay here one night to tour the north T.R. National Park, which we did. We selected a nice site in Juniper that was level and had some shade from a Cottonwood. Had satellite reception buy no cell phone/air card. (We did have cell phone reception outside the campground). Great scenery inside the campground, and very quiet during day and night. We did not have to have A/C during our stay. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
All sites appeared level and large enough for our 30 ft class A and the road was easy to navigate and in good condition. No hook-ups, no showers and simple bathrooms. We liked the quiet, peaceful, wooded nature of most of the sites. We would recommend staying here for a night or two while visiting the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice community park that includes a small campground/RV park. Disc golf, playground, horseshoe pits are available in the park. A paved walking/biking trail leads right into the park. There are no sewer hook-ups, but there is a sanitary dump station on site. This was a great place for a night or two with close proximity to Teddy Roosevelt Nat'l Park North Unit. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Friendly owner, helpful pointing out points of interests and local businesses. Very large lots with choice of shade or satellite friendly. Can walk to stores and diners with city street in front and farm in back. Lot's to see and do on day trips, prompting me to stop every summer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Friendly owner. Grassy sites with a few small trees. No cable and no TV off the antenna - need satellite if staying here any length of time. Tons of mosquitos, the owner doesn't spray for them. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground was the most unpleasant experience that we have ever had while traveling around the country. The campground itself was clean but the sites were uneven. The owner shut the water off almost every night without warning, around 7pm and would knock on your door very early in the morning to give you instructions on what she wanted you to do for the day. There were very few people staying in the park at the time we were there and we felt as if we were being watched all the time. We even found the owner wandering around our camper in the evening, but we have no idea why? We will not stay there again, and would not recommend it to anyone. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a no frills campground perfectly suited for a day or two. No bathrooms, showers, or laundry but long pull-thru sites with easy access and very friendly people. Park is grassy and quiet but many sites slope from right to left a bit. We stayed a couple of nights while visiting the north unit of T. Roosevelt National Park and sitting out some thunderstorms and strong winds. It was perfect for that and we'd stay again under similar circumstances. Passport America park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
