Small campground 3 minutes from the town of Lockeport. Combination of RV sites, cabins and tent sites. Not sure about 50 amp, but there were big rigs there. Adequate room between sites, friendly hosts, open for satellite reception. Wi-Fi only at office, but told it would be coming soon to sites. Heated pool. Nothing fancy about this place, but would definitely stay at this small campground again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
If you visit this park, be prepared for the fact that it is a fair distance from nearby towns. Get your groceries before you turn off the highway. There is a long approach road on gravel (which may be a deterrent to motorcyclists whose bikes aren't set up for dirt roads). As with other provincial parks, there are no serviced lots. There are several walking trails, which take you to some spectacular rocky shoreline, with interspersed beaches. Our site had a gravel and grass surface, and was quite uneven, which made for a bit of a leveling exercise. Washrooms are very clean, bright, well-appointed, and well maintained. Our dogs were welcome. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Basic camping, no hoohups. Very quiet, well managed Provincial Park. Great walking trails and numerous beautiful secluded beaches. Good sites although some appeared low and wet. Good relaxing spot. Great wilderness tenting sites avaliable. Will come back here!. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
