This is your average KOA. Nightly rate includes value card discount. About 2/3 of the sites are occupied by permanent or semi-permanent residents but they are in the back section of the park. We reserved a pull-through site in advance but were told it was not available when we arrived. It appears that the campground doesn't actually have pull-through sites as advertised. You pull through into your site from the site behind you. If that site is occupied then your pull-through site becomes a back-in site. Management was accommodating and very apologetic and got me into my site without disconnecting my toad. Trash dumpsters were inconveniently located outside the park gate on the entrance road. Wi-Fi and Verizon cell worked OK. Park is located about five miles off of the interstate and you need to follow the directions on the website, depending which direction you are traveling. We probably wouldn't stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff, clean park, nice swimming pool, but not a lot else to do. We also reserved a specific campsite but upon arrival was "escorted" to a different site, far away from the friends we were camping with. Told by the manager that there was a mistake made, and that there were only a few alternatives; they tried to work with us, but unfortunately the options weren't to our satisfaction. Our camping neighbors had a pitbull that would charge, growl, and bark whenever anyone walked by, drove, by, etc, starting at 6am until middle of the night. It even charged one of their employees. But since it was a "friend" of the owner, all we were told was that the dog was a big teddy bear, and wouldn't hurt anyone (famous last words). Anyway, my kids were scared to leave the trailer because of the dog, and I was afraid to have them anywhere near there. Spent a lot of time in the trailer. Very disappointing response, especially when it states in the "rules" about aggressive animals. Would not recommend this campground, due to the reservation issue, the animal issue, and the lack of activities (hiking was a walk around a pond). We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

While the staff was very friendly and helpful, we were taken aback when the staff member leading us to our site asked where we had been placed. When we told him, he asked if we would object to being placed in a site that was level. Given that, and the fact that they are so far off the beaten path and damned near impossible to retrace your steps to the Interstate, we wouldn't return. Unless, like this visit, we needed a place to stay, that had decent reviews and was in the time frame that we needed for our trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.
