This is a membership RV Park and the $12 rate reflects our RPI membership. The park is undergoing expansion and renovation and will be quite a nice park when completed. The sites are gravel with concrete patios and full hookups. The Clubhouse has a TV lounge, game room, snack bar and exercise room. They also have a pool, hot tub, horseback riding and a fishing pond and paddleboats. These amenities are quite a distance from the RV sites. They also have Buffalo on site and a children's petting zoo. The park is located a short distance from Seneca Lake. It is worth the 12 mile drive off of I70 for a quiet stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
For a man-made lake, this place was sooooo relaxing. Very clean. Lots of places to eat and boat. Many 5th wheels are permanent and well maintained. We were there for a couple of weekend trips and the owners were very nice but not overly nosy. We are looking forward to more trips there. The only contact we had was with the guard at the entrance. Very friendly & helpful. The hookups and laundry facilities were very useful and user friendly. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
There is 2 campgrounds and I stayed at the one next to the Marina. The marina has a restaurant/bar, boat docking and rentals, camp supplies, etc. Lots of seasonal campers so most of the waterfront sites are taken. You can still get to the water though. This park/lake is run by a quasi government conservancy district, so it is a little basic on amenities. Lots of pine trees so grass can be hard to find. Mostly campers from the region and not too many transients. Nice place on a peninsula on the lake. Lots of kids on weekends. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Restrooms and showers were tile and very clean. Campground has a large number of seasonal units, not a lot of sites available for transient users. There are two different campgrounds; the one at the marina is flatter and easier to find a level site. Staff friendly; security very good - marked park ranger patrolled often. Not big rig friendly. Very family friendly. Lots of campers had big boats on their lots. I ended up with a site with electric only for the night; site was grass and a bit muddy due to recent rain. Electric voltage dropped below 110v with A/C and microwave on. This is a good place for the kids, with the lake close by and playground. Lots of kids riding bikes. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a park run by a watershed conservency district. It is on the edge of a large recreational lake. This campground is the newer of the two in the area, the beach campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many seasonal campers here and the grounds are well maintained. There are few well shaded sites. The campground fills quickly on holiday weekends. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
