Okay this has got to be the best campground on or near Grand Lake! We looked into others but this one has everything needed for kids to have a good time as well as adults. All the way down to an indoor pool/outdoor pool. It has scheduled crafts for both, game room, movies and putt putt to boot. There is a hiking trail that you can frequently see deer and other animals as well as many mature trees for shade. We liked it so much that after one night we bought a membership and spent the rest of our vacation with a view over looking Grand Lake not a bad way to start or end the day. Also if you're staying for two weeks it's cheaper to buy a membership. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed here as guests, and liked it so much we decided to purchase a membership. Park staff were very friendly. Park is maintained well and there is a great view of Grand Lake from the Eagle's Nest. Only downside is the road to get to the park is winding and has some overhanging trees. It was well worth the drive in though! We plan to spend several weeks a year here. They accept Passport America and Coast to Coast. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a lovely campground that has sites overlooking a beautiful lake. The roads are good. The campground has just about everything; indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, heated indoor fishing dock (I heard they were pulling 50-60 lb catfish out this summer), small store, etc. We stayed on a site that had a gorgeous view overlooking a good sized lake that had a lot of character. We could see ourselves staying a month here, but, we only have a week. DARN! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
