This is a beautiful spot in a remote location on the plains. The nearest "town" is Kenton, 8 miles away where you will find a small general store and two gas pumps. Don't arrive here low on fuel because you may have to travel a long way - depending on which direction you're heading - before you can refuel. There is a country store on the park grounds, but plan to have everything you need with you before you arrive. There are a dozen or so sites with 30-amp and water, one pull thru. Also many other dry camp sites. $2 off rates for seniors (over 62). Be sure to you know directions before you travel because some of the turns and roads are not marked. Also, depending on your carrier, you probably will not have cell phone coverage in the park. Lots of hiking opportunities and plenty of wild life. We had mule deer and wild turkeys strolling around our RV each morning we were there. We will stay here again when passing though. We camped here in a Motorhome.
