Missinaibi Provincial Park is in the heart of the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve, adjacent to Missinaibi Lake. The park is at the end of a 50 mile long gravel logging road, north of Chapleau. This is not a park to come to if you are not self contained! The lake is very large (99,000 acres) and is full of fish, which is what brings most people to this park. There has been a boil alert on the water coming from the taps for the last two years. No showers, but there is a sandy beach for swimming. The vault toilets are kept clean by the park staff, and if you run out of bread, milk, ice, etc, the staff will bring it to you(when they get to camp the next day). The sites vary in size, and a handful have lake views. We camped here in a Motorhome.
