Part of the St Lawrence Park Commission. There are two other campgrounds on the Long Sault Parkway. The eastern part of McLaren now has a crushed stone base for your RV, the western part is still on grass. Showers and dump station are a quarter mile east of the campground on the next island. Close to Upper Canada museum village, Upper Canada golf club and marina and the Battle of Crysler Farm National Historic site. 50 km of bike trails, beaches and family entertainment on summer weekends. Because of the large population of Canada geese beaches are occasionally closed because of a high bacteria count. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Part of the St. Lawrence Parks off the Long Sault Parkway (a series of islands on the Canada side of St. Lawrence). Must get permit at East Gate. Some sites not very level. Picnic table and fire ring. Small beach was posted when we were there due to rain and geese. Dump station sign said NO chemicals so we just dumped our grey water tank. Wish we had known about that when we got there. Has area to launch a small boat. Sites on the water have no hook-ups. Fills up on weekends. We camped here in a Motorhome.
