Great little park one-half mile off the road just west of Heppner, OR. $18 for full hook-up, $15 water and electric only (there is a dump station at the entrance). Spaces are located above the water (beautiful sunrises). It was *very* windy when we were there, but still a nice park. Showers cost fifty cents, so I knocked it down one point in the ratings for that reason. Good photos on their website, too. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This is a nice, uncrowded little RV park that is off the beaten path, in fact traffic is so light (mostly farm vehicles) we found that we'd watch "for fun." The park overlooks Willow Creek Lake and dam. Our only complaint is that the neighboring Corp of Engineers property has very bright flood lights that broadcast some of their light toward the campground. How wonderful it would have been to have a dark campground. Heppner is the county seat so check out the several museums, and the beautiful court house. The area residents are very friendly. They will wave, stop to visit, happily answer your questions and generally make you feel welcomed. If you want a peaceful, relaxing stay: this park definitely fits the bill. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Heppner is remote, yes, but it has a gem of a little RV park. The park overlooks Willow Creek Lake and dam. Tho the property appears to be Army Corp of Engineers, the operators is a local parks district. At first glance, the park has an odd layout but once you drive thru you can see that all sites are pull thru. Tents have separate area. Of the 23 spaces 9 have sewer. Ordinarily a popular fishing lake, a blue/green algae infestation has put the lid on fishing and other water activities this time of year. The small town is a county seat so there are other things going on to provide entertainment including a good museum, rodeo grounds and friendly folks. Park is open March thru October. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
