This is no longer Salem KOA, it seems it has been sold and renamed Happy Valley RV Park. There's no web site yet, but there is some construction going on for a new section and it seems the place is being fixed up. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The campground entry booth was not manned when we arrived. Another camper observed us having difficulty and found the manager. There was a note explaining how to self register, but we had reservations and did not want to move after setting up if we picked the wrong site. Pool area is clean, but awning covers are well weathered and the hot tub was out of order. The closed carnival rides at the entrance do not give a good impression. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Right next door to Enchanted Forest. The swimming pool is one of the nicest I have seen. I had great Wi-fi access, and the registration booth was manned every time we came through. They didn't even charge for extra cars, which I have encountered at every other KOA I've stayed at. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This appears to have been a nice park at one time, but is now quite run down. The Wi-Fi barely worked and there was no way to contact park employees as the tiny office was never manned and calling the park phone connected you with KOA central reservations who were unable to connect me with the local management. We will not be staying here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
