Tips from campers about Emporium, PA
- JandKH Lots of hiking and overlooks available. Towns of Emporium and St. Mary's are lovely; ate at Uptown Girls cafe in Emporium, very nice and visited Straub Brewery in St. Mary's. If you like PA history, great area for that!3 weeks ago Sizerville State Park
- Ryan Coy There is very limited cell service in the area. Have your route planned ahead of time and written down. We came in from PA Rt 6 and cell Google maps had us going dirt roads through state game lands. Thankfully we had an old road atlas to help us out10 months ago Sizerville State Park
- Kathacamping Emporium is the closest town and rather small, but does have a laundry. Larger stores are in St. Mary's, 19 miles away. Straub Brewery is a nice stop. Otherwise, there are lots of hiking trails and CCC history at this park.1 year ago Sizerville State Park
