First of all, this is a brand new campground which is NOT completed. You should really call first to see if what they offer meets your needs. The sites offer full hookups 30/50, cable and wifi. Cable was not completed in our section, but we did see the cable trucks and personnel working there. Looks like they will be offering seasonal sites as some have brick patios. Some sites are a little too tight for our likings. We had a nice size site. We did not stay there for their amenities. We love the Rhode Island coastline and all the numerous beaches and seafood restaurants which are only 15 minutes away. Amenities offered are splash pad for kids, huge pool, adult whirlpool, tennis court, basketball court, bocce ball, horseshoes, arts & crafts and a HUGE clubhouse which is not yet completed. I'm sure there is more I did not see. The store seems a little scarce. As I said, you should call first so you won't be disappointed. Being new, they seem to still be working out all the kinks. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. This place has a future! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a brand new park that opening this year (2014). The place was not finished when we stood there. Pros: Close to RI/Conn Attractions and Casinos 100% 50 amp 100% full hookups Cons" Small Sites Some sewer hookups in weird places. No Bathhouses. They say they are full hookup and don't need the boathouses. Lack of shade. I would go here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Frontier is generally a very nice place to camp. Quiet and clean. However, this
weekend happend to be a very busy one that I don't think the owners were prepared for. The bathrooms floors were dirty and there were many ungroomed
sites. Besides this Frontier is a very nice park to camp at. No frills camping. We camped here in a Tent.
